I was driving home today and had to slow down/pass in a non-passing part of the road for a walker, a jogger, and a cyclist. I nearly hit the jogger. People should not be allowed in the road if they're going to be a danger to vehicles.

In one of the movie commentary tracks the film makers said there was additional dialog that between the sheriff's and Rambo's commanding officer that was cut because it made the sheriff look too sympathetic.
SHERIFF: A few years ago in the next county a homeless drifter came through town. He looked harmless enough until he raped and murdered a 10 year old girl. Ever since then when I see a drifter I give him a chance to keep walking. If he doesn't take well to that, I escalate things.

Book Rambo is a real piece of work. The sheriff was right not to want a maniac like that anywhere near the town he was charged with protecting.
