about the same
Can I see number 5 one more time
i havent seen an optometrist in years, im scared of getting the bad news that i actually need glasses
is the joke that jafar cant see afar? family guy sucks
autism
No, it’s actually to make fun of all the direct to DVD sequels Disney made for their 90’s cartoon hits. The joke is that the movie is Aladdin 6: Jafar May Need Glasses
umm, random!!
Not really random, it's satire on the long line of Disney direct to video sequels that got increasingly desperate
The plots were often ridiculous, like Cinderella 3 had the Evil Stepmother gain the powers of the Fairy God Mother and go back in time to undo the events of Cinderella 1
That premis is actually kinda kino
Pocahontas 2 is about a boring wimp somehow winning her heart even though he won't stand up for her
John Smith goes to save her because the wimp just sits at home after Pocahontas gets imprisoned to be executed
Smith gets dumped, most uncharismatic wimp wins because they danced once
Cinderella III was a good one. 2 was bad.
Beauty and The Beast 2 was also similarly bad, but had a gem of a line delivery anyway.
I remember liking Bamby 2. Being an "interquel" means it doesn't get to ruin any classic characters and instead explores the relationship between Bamby and his father/Flinn/Ronan which gives the characters a lot more depth. Tarzan 2 is the same except it's a lot more goofier than the original and the character development it offers seems kinda inconsequential. Peter Pan 2 and 101 Dalmatians 2 were pretty good, perhaps the best sequels that Disney ever offered. And of course I will forever cherish all Lilo & Stitch and Alladin movies. Overall, the Disney sequels aren't as bad as people claim they are. Except Simba's Pride, it can frick right off. And Hunchback of Notre-Dame 2, cheap piece of crap.
>The plots were often ridiculous, like Cinderella 3 had the Evil Stepmother gain the powers of the Fairy God Mother and go back in time to undo the events of Cinderella 1
Didn't this movie do that?
It's probably not a particularly original concept.
What movie is that because that "Cinderella" is a cutie
Happily Never After
Damn, I remember seeing this in the cinema after Mcdonald's giving away free tickets with a happy meal. There was even a TV advert promoting it. Also remember seeing the Jungle Book 2 in cinemas as well. Where did the time go?
>hook brings his whole squad to kidnap the wrong little girl
Love this movie. Only disney movie I love more is Brother Bear.
the insertion of the joke is random but cutaways are part and parcel of family guy. the joke itself isnt le random, poking fun at shitty direct to dvd disney movies and having the joke being a common experience for anyone going to the eye doctor. pretty normal. now something like the chicken fight would fit into the le random category.
>part and parcel
>le random
go back
Stop gatekeeping words, butthole. It isn't helpful.
ok, boomer
>Aladdin 6: Jafar May Need Glasses
why did I laugh at this stupid shit
Because he might not even need glasses.
It's ridiculous how shallow the premise is. There isn't urgency for him getting glasses, he might be okay.
The joke is the same as most Family Guy cutaways: it's a highly mundane, uneventful scenario that is shown in excessive length and detail. Most shows wouldn't put in a scene like that which makes Family Guy unique. The joke of Family Guy is literally that it isn't funny.
*whoosh*
Heh never realized that kinda funny
> In "Foreign Affairs", the family watches Aladdin V: Jafar answers the Census as Jafar has a difficult time answering the examiners questions and balks at first when asked his sexual orientation before settling on "Not Sure".
> He is voiced by Seth MacFarlane.
Bit on the nose, isn't that?
>I was born during the 21st century: the post
Can I see 5 again?
why is the dmv so shit lads?
Does anyone else find going to the optometrist soothing?
