>Aaahchie, it says in my magazines that people can change genders now! They're cuttin the weewees offa boys and turnin em into hoohas! And putting the weewees on other girls and turnin em into boys!
>Ahh geez Edith wouldja stifle??
>Hey ma, maybe you should get one! Then you wouldn't need pops at all anymore!
>Can it, meathead!
>*audience howls with mirth*
I’m curious, how old are you OP and did you spend a lot of time in your grandparents home to know that this show exists?
Interesting, do you frequently have unusual hallucinations about other peoples' lives?
Boy the way Glen Miller played,
Songs that made the hit parade,
Guys like us we had it made,
Those were the days,
And you know where you were then,
Girls were girls and men were men,
Mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again,
Didn't need no welfare states
Everybody pulled his weight,
Gee our old Lasalle ran great,
Those were the days
You jelly? You sound jelly
you are the biggest homosexual of the day, congrats
back in the day people would talk to each other about fun shows from the past and look for it, they weren't limited to what streaming channels would let them watch, zoomies like you will never know such joy.
Zoom zoom
This show aired on daytime tv reruns for decades. Personally I'd catch an episode from time to time while looking for cartoons if I had a half day off school. I'm assuming a kiddo like you doesn't really know what broadcast television was like? It was definitely a different time. You might think it's inferior to today's infinite, infinite on-demand content availability, but it did cause us to appreciate what we got more and let it sink into our collective cultural memories. There's a reason people still remember all these old shows from the 60s-70s-80s-90s and shows made today barely get recalled a week after being binged.
i watched Deja View for hours a day in the summer and i forget most other kids weren't also watching MASH and Three's Company
tfw was that kid
love me some MASH
For me it was the Rockford files, Satan
That and Hunter
Man DeeDee was hot af
> Not Hart to Hart.
> Not boozing martinis while driving.
One job.
Reminds of Roberta Williams
How fricking zoomer do you have to be to post this?
the only people who watched this show are at least 32+ years old. re-runs of old shows like this were on nick at nite and the only people who watched nick at nite are like 32+. i watched all those old shows. all the i love lucy shows, all in the family, taxi, the odd couple, bewitched, i dream of jeannie, mary tyler moore
I genuinely feel bad for zoomers. Despite having everything at your fingertips, you’re in a little cultural terrarium, and don’t even know it. Zoomers have SpongeBob, the MCU, Fortnite, FNaF, and that’s about it. Half my enjoyment of stuff like prime Simpsons and MST3K was learning something new, and being like “Oh, I get that reference now!”
I rewatch MST3K episodes regularly and it STILL happens, that shit was so dense.
There's a million reasons people could argue about why the current generation is so broken but I really think it's inarguable that the technology leap of infinite content and choice at our fingertips has damned us. For adults, it strips away the sense of meaning and emotional absorption of the works available to us. For kids, it entrains their brains to be optimized for being empty and incapable of retention.
>spongebob
mane we had that back in like '99 and some of us were teenagers by then
Oh, I know, it’s one of the few holdovers. I’m basing that on what I see from YouTube, which is endless zoomers relating SpongeBob reactions to everything.
zoom filth
Exquisite bait my friend
You know if you fricking losers spent as much time on literally ANYTHING else in your life as much as you spend obsessing about Trannies you'd all probably be confident and successful men in your day to day
>gets mad at a funny lil joke
haha why tho
they are fricked up though
So, do you keep this response in a text file on your desktop so you can copy-paste anytime somebody makes a vague troon joke, or do you type it out from memory while you seethe? I’m assuming your estrogen-addled brain can’t focus enough to code a bot to do it for you, of course.
Its all in my predictive text on my phone I just type "you know if..." And keep hitting the middle text and it fills the gaps
I am successful though, but I imagine you're too singleminded though to want to be bored with the details. Pretty weird thing to just project, is all.
>Project
Saying "I know you are but what am I" will never be an acceptable response to anything.
...says the poor sad dude projecting imaginary villains' lives, lmao
phoneposters deserve to die.
You really think someone needs to save such a short sentence
tick tock vaxxie
>obsessing
psychoanalyzing others, that's rich
GOILS WERE GOILS AND MEN WERE MEN
One of these days I'm gonna pop ya, right in the kisser!
That day is today!
>POP
>I hate da 21st century. How am I still alive? Inflation, babies gettin' killed in Gaza, Political destabilization in Ukraine and Israel. Domestic politics so unhinged that the federal government fails to function. I can't take no more, meathead.
>Meathead still cares for Archie even whilst he lives on life support
>Even while Meathead divorced Gloria according to Gloria's spin off
I guess Meathead must have been a pretty cool guy after all.
Those were the days!
>pretty cool guy
Meathead was a raging liberal who'd be sperging about Palestine and Trump in the same breath. Gloria and her sweet Bunker breasts was right to dump his ass.
He fricking cheated on her, isn’t that disgusting of the character? And then when she dies he has the temerity to walk around delusional while his asian little girl ward has to make breakfast and everything right the way his wife used to make it, so his ‘my wife isn’t dead’ bubble wouldn’t pop
>so his ‘my wife isn’t dead’ bubble wouldn’t pop
It popped the first episode she was gone
Right, at the end of the episode and after weeks of in-universe time and an entire episode designed for the audience to realize she’s gone while the character quietly denies it
>mfw when the homeless t-slur asks me for change but I've been Archiemaxxing and hit they/them with an "I already gave at the office" and they physically recoil knowing that I am an actual salt or the earth working class white man that is also somewhat receptive to the new progressive wave but not enough to grovel and fellate the same communities that I am somewhat okay with sort of existing
Family Guy fans don’t even know the intro references this
>implying edith was ignorant of trannies
>implying edith didnt have a full on crisis of faith over losing a close troony friend
Wtf yikes! Gross
Stupid Edith
That's sad
good lord what a monster
>lil' zooms watch a compilation of archie saying "gay" and "coloreds" and think he's based
>all in the family produced some of the most progressive pro-gay episodes the 70s had to offer
People think he’s a based and redpilled character but he’s literally designed to be humiliated and either completely learn his progressive lesson by the end of every episode, or just to be evil and wrong and suffer for it
When I was a kid I thought when I grew up I would know all the adult shows my dad knew about, so I made sure to do that and now I know about columbo and the munsters and shit
How would Archie react to the Biden Presidency?
>made in the image of God
Presidents still say things like that?
Yes. Virtually all of America is hyper-Christian.
Yuck
>Meathead! What the hell is this dat dee president's doin'?
>Transexual people now enjoy the same rights as everybody else, pop.
>ah, jeeze! Do I gotta cut my dick off now too?!
>mirth
