Wasn't about the actual history.
At no point was she a girl boss
Uh did she not upgrade to a white guy? Girl boss move
She was not a girl boss. She tried to be a girl boss for shock value in the story since it would be stupid, look at it like disrespecting on purpose.
The whole spear fight was introduced as the ashigaru being told not to hurt the lady until she quit and announced it was impossible to fight back such oppression, her job was to be a weak victim to make Ishido look like an oppressor.
ToraMahhomie sent a woman to do a womans job.
Exactly it was all politics which this has been about from the beginning. Ishido is trying to kill his opponent through politics, Toranaga is preparing to him through the only political game that matters, goading him into war.
did you really think Hollywood would give you proper kino?
hahaha ha ha ahahha ha hehe he he
have you not checked the credits first?
diversity hires aplenty
>adaptation of a 40-year old book series is actually new Hollywood writing
I wonder how apes like you can even navigate daily life independently
As if source material matters anything to Hollywood, you weasel. 40 year old book series doesn't mean shit to diversity hire writers.
Can't wait for Yasuke to show up in the next episode
Read the book you dumb frick. There's an entire section that is way more 'girlboss'.
when mariko fricks blackthorn with rubber balls?
I can't stand this actress she has a b***h face
Wasn't it obvious from the first episode when it depicted women as anything other than totally subservient to men?
Through most of the show all women are pretty much subservient. The supposed girlboss won't even kill herself without an order
Imagine thinking this was ever good. Cinemaphile will never change
stop watching critical drinker before your brain rots
>stop noticing things and just consumer
just stop being woke. Nobody likes it either way
>Aaand turns out this series was another girlboss slop.
Which episodes should I watch for breasts?
For Armenian manbreasts you mean, those are the only breasts in this
first episode, I don't think breasts appeared in any other
>completely fails to beat people who are strictly ordered and culturally obligated not to hurt her in any way
>gets blown up for no fricking reason
it was according to keikaku
episode 1 is great
everything else is terrible and not worth watching
if you take out yobu-chad the entire series is utterly worthless
I only cared about Fuji-sama and Yabushige.
yabu/yobu, whatever, he's like the only kino thing about this show
and sure, fuji's great too, but where the frick is she? did she fricking die in the landslide?
Mariko is a bombshell
episodes 1-4 is where it's at
rest becomes drama
>Aaand turns out this series was another girlboss slop.
>in the show pic rel gets blown apart into a million pieces
What did little chuddie mean by this?
I guess a women doing anything is a girlboss moment
So Toranaga's plan was to have a win-win with Mariko even if she died in one of the scenarios?
>She either leaves so all the other unofficial hostages also leave and Ishido loses leverage
>She gets slain despite the no hostage declaration which declares to the land he does have hostages and loses face and then support
Still sort of odd that all this shit about Toranaga feigning weakness is so pivotal when I've been told the actual battle that elevated him to Shogun is never depicted. You'd think the storytelling convention would be to have him surprise everyone on screen with all the military forces he secretly marshalled and was only able to do so because he feigned so convincingly that he was a spent force
>woman manages to get a couple hits in against a group of men specifically ordered not to harm her
>woman manages to shoot man armed with knives
Ugh, girlboss slop, so unrealistic
>Here's your girlboss, bro
