Fair. I've started watching Jack Osbornes show for her and it's good.
The Groff show with her was decent but the first episode had what was obviously a guy in a morph suit so I couldn't trust anything after that point.
I've watched a few ghost shows now, you get an eye for producer meddling (reliance on REM pods, psychics etc).

All psychics are inherently untrustworthy. I remember the UK ghost hunting show (Most Haunted) had the same one for 8 seasons before he was outed for just bribing a staffer to get a cheat sheet. Personally I like Michelle Bellanger's flow.
It's hilarious when they get witches on. Especially that homosexual warlock in the Salem episode.
I think she's sensitive on some level, she seems to pick up a lot on the initial tour without being told. In the Groff show she got a lot of sympathetic pains.

Zak is the biggest pussy on Earth. Like, if he ever caught a cold (runny nose, cough) - he'd blame it on "demonic possession".
Maybe he has health issues, maybe not. But as a character, pretending this career ghost hunting is killing you is just adding to the lore.

kek that's partly why Nick left. Zak is an egotistical control freak who took over the show, that was started by Nick originally and then started to do shady shit to make their 'evidence' seem more believable.
I dunno, the evidence was much better with Nick (and in Nicks show) so I suspect he was a better faker than Zak.
Maybe? The ultimate reason he was canned was because of his new show, Paranormal Lockdown, which violated the terms of his contract with Travel Channel. Those c**ts have gotten some interesting stuff though, like shit being thrown across the room and whatnot. But they definitely lean hard into the psychic aspect and the whole 'DUDE I JUST FELT THE TEMPERATURE CHANGE' aspects. That camera that maps stick figures is cool as hell though and I want one just to play with.
It's literally an xbox one kinetic, I'm not even joking. That's what the SLS is, and people found out that it would just map figures in their room with nothing there then people started using them for ghost hunting. Even thought it does have the habit of mapping things as figures when it's like a chair or some shit. So a lot of the evidence caught on an SLS can actually be passed off pretty easily.

Yeah, but the first 5-8 seasons where Nick is there have better evidence than those after his departure. I'm only up to season 18 but it seems like they stopped finding anything that looks good on a TV.

luckily i've got all the first seasons on dvd. it pays to have physical media. Nick was certainly a huge factor in their original success and the team never felt right after he left.

there's like 20 or 30 fricking seasons plus specials and lockdown stuff where they just watched their old episodes and talked about it mystery science theater style. idk how they churn out that much content and still remain even remotely credible

Yep. The only one I can't attribute to the SLS being shitty because it picked up six figures, which it has never done before or since.

The SLS has had ONE good moment, and that was the mariachi band.
They can't have a show that shows nothing, Nick was too much of a purist(I respect that) to be down with it. The thing about ghost hunting, that I've seen and heard is that sometimes you're just not going to get activity, and the next night could be off the wall crazy shit. That came into play while filming, and I bet it was like "You produce something real or not, or we cut off the money flow to every single one of you".
True, you've got to have something people want to watch and compelling evidence is why people tune in. Ghost Hunters got caught faking their live Halloween episode years ago which really damaged the credibility of the paranormal hunting genre. But they keep churning the fricking shows out regardless
