the wire was good in the sense that all the officeroom chats and investigating felt quite realistic, but the real cop stuff didn't hold true to life at all
sounds like you're the one who has never been around a cop irl
>the shield is probably the most accurate depiction of fictionalised police out in the field though?
accurate to the Grand Theft Auto universe maybe
>t. bootlickers
on average, in EVERY country in the world, cops are statistically proven to be the most aggressive members of society. I know neither of you have done even an iota of reading or research on this topic so there's not much point getting into further. But yes, police officers are usually scummy and authoritarian - there is definitive data available that illustrates this. There is a reason the ACAB movement gained so much traction so quickly.
I actually agree with you. The most unrealistic thing about The Wire by far is that it doesn't show enough violence by cops. The only time a cop actually kills someone is when he accidentally kills an undercover cop. The Wire could've leaned more into the police brutality angle but I think they wanted to steer away from what most cop shows were doing back then, which was becoming glorified action shoot'em up shows.
That scene where he shoots the cop was so poorly edited and confusing just for the sake of "haha lol we don't show a single cop using his gun" so let's have this really weird jump out of nowhere
I think they're both good in their own way
The Wire tries to be more realistic, and focuses on East Coast culture and locales
The Shield is a bit more bombastic, and focuses on West Coast culture and locales
Actually A+ pairing for back-to-back viewings
This completely. They're both making very similar arguments just through different methods and lenses. It's so puzzling to me to see people love one but hate the other - it makes me question if they really even appreciate the core concept of either show.
Both the shield and the wire were responses to law and order, the most successful crime procedural ever. The shield's raison d'etre is to make law and order look tame. The wire's raison d'etre is to make law and order look ridiculous, which in effect makes the shield look like a clown show.
The Wire is east coast and written by a israelite who loves his Black pets and pretends they have a higher iq than a termite.
The Shield is west coast and written by a baldie married to a shrill harpie, who he cast as the lead character's shrill annoying wife. But they show the reality of non-whites and their destructive, uncivilized nature and inability to be anything more than agents of destruction.
Hence, The Shield wins. That said, I think acting-wise, The Wire beats the Shield.
There's a scene where Vic gets shot and he pretends he has the energy to get and meet his autistic son like his sweaty gut-exploding self isn't feeling like near-death.

. Never forget, brown people are the most racist people on the planet.
>"straight up merked them slobs" >grooving on the balcony as the guy is getting arrested >dude hits the shuffle before getting put in the cop car
lmfao does the show have more moments like this? thats fricking hilarious
>never brought up again >Snoop comes out of the alley and makes a straight line to Bodie... Exact way that a knight moves >Chris shoots diagonally like a pawn taking another pawn
It was literally foreshadowing and imagery
there isn't a chess metaphor. its a scene where one character tries to teach other characters how to play chess, and the only way he can explain it is in terms they'll understand.
it was important in order to help round out Claudette's character, establishing that she can make unforced mistakes, doesn't/can't endear herself to others, and is inflexible/uncompromising to a fault
a little bit of it could be cut, but most of it needs to stay
same with other little things in the show that could be cut; Shane doing the undercover wienerfight thing, or Lem hooking up with Tigre that just gets dropped without comment, etc.
filtered by sutter's arc and the Black person homosexual son comment, embarrassing >
The best tv show ever made imo. It achieved the impossible where it seemingly kept getting better all the way to the series finale.
>seasons 3 and 4 were mid. the final three seasons were excellent though
filtered
S3/4 are where we see the strike team at their strongest and actually in control of the farm. S4 in particular effectively sees Vic promoted to official right hand man status in the precinct and the crime rates are the lowest of the entire season. This is the perfect set up for S5-7 to show their downfall properly considering S1/2 is really just them galvanising as a group over some of the outright terrible decisions they made. The show is pretty comfortably a 10/10 if not higher.
the strike team being OP is precisely what made those seasons boring. far less tension, suspense or unpredictability. this show is a tragedy at its core, those are the truly powerful and stand out moments
Necessary for the punches they receive in the final three seasons. I can literally not think of another series that puts its main characters through such a slow and painful death leading up to the end. The way the show marches to the finale is amongst the best television has to offer. We needed the pride before the fall.
I disagree. Glenn Close was the best captain the farm had in my opinion even if Kav was the most entertaining. Watching her be bamboozled by Vic was joyful, its why I focus on S4 more than S3 when this subject comes up, because I think in that season every episode starts to feel more and more like a house of cards being stacked up. The way the season ends and the subsequent three seasons of everything tumbling down kind of confirm what I'm saying is intentional too.

I was okay changing the focus to Kavanaugh, but I do wish they brought her back. She should have been the federal liason that got Vic his immunity deal. Now imagine her face as Vic spills his guts.

Up until the two seasons we are talking about all we had seen is the strike team skim by the skin of their teeth though? I won't contest your unrealistic point because that's ultimately a matter of opinion whether you can suspend your disbelief... but you can't really claim it was predictable when we saw the exact opposite pan out for the two seasons prior.

Why are you attacking him? He didn't even say anything about The Wire. You're being sensitive.
I actually enjoyed when it was more episodic the first 3 seasons. After it gets more serialized there are a few episodes that feel slow because they work more as a setup. S5 is the only season fully serialized that feels extremely consistent. S4, 6 and 7 suffer the same problem of a few episodes being a bit boring.
>If you are calling to report racial discrimination, put down the crack pipe and dial 6
Does anyone remember what episode this scene is from? I can never find it on israelitetube
Why did Kurt Sutter always shove his personal fetishes into The Shield? (Cuckolding, Black person dick worship, feet, gay rape, golden showers) He did the same thing to SOA. He even played a guy on The Shield who was into feet lol
actually copkino, the sleaze and suspense are great, the cast is very solid etc. It gets repetitive towards the final seasons, but the TENSION is kept until the last shot
It should have been 5 seasons instead of 7 like The Wire or , but it's still impressive considering that most shows with 7 seasons are way past their due date.
>It gets repetitive towards the final seasons
i disagree, seasons 5 and 7 were hyperkino. the problem is that season 6 had so much filler in it that it would have been better to just include the important parts of it in seasons 5 and 7. it was the only mistake the shield made.
Season 6 had lesser filler than the other seasons in my opinion. I used dislike season 6 but on my latest rewatched it's one of my favorites now. There's so many strong moments. And it's only about 10 episodes too. Season 3 on the other hand is full of boring filler shit. It only starts to get good again when the strike team are running around trying to cover their tracks
filler may have been the wrong word to describe season 6, the whole season just feels a bit pointless to me. i actually enjoy the filler episodes in the earlier episodes of the shield, picrel was kino for example even though it contributed nothing to the overall plot. whereas season 6 could have been condensed down into 3-4 episodes and included at the start of season 7 and this would have been an improvement.
The Wire is >Wow black people are like high IQ little shakespearean geniuses that are oppressed by the system.
The Shield shows Black folk how they really are. There are exceptions to the rule but that's just like reality. The Wire cannot shut up about how much of a victim black people are while they continue to kill each other over sneakers. The Wire is so israeli. The Shield is way better
The wire isn't even about race, americuck morons always assume a show with mostly blacks is always about race. It's barely ever mentioned. Why else would season 2 show the white dock workers as being fricked over victims as well? The show even goes out its way to depict white cops being passed over for promotions because they're not the right color. Not that you even made it that far in the show kek
Based and absolutely true. The Wire is sterile goyslop for libtards, Shield is a realistic and macabre portrayal of brown people and their effect on white society.
Because a large portion of the people here that "love" the shield only say they love it, (they don't watch TV, just get angry at Twitter screenshots) because they saw webms where blacks get beat up in it
>*bang* >We killed a cawp >We know you like raping children >They made you...suck?! >Ok, who took my chair? >*rhythmic slapping noises* >You're gay, alright? >Money train...in and out...set up for life >Ok, who took my Ding Dongs?
The Shield is >Wow black female cops are like high IQ Sherlock geniuses that can rise to the top of the system off merit and intellect alone
The Wire shows black women how they really are (pic related). There are exceptions to the rule but that's just like reality. The Shield cannot shut up about how much of a victim black female cops are while they continue to make strong white man look bad.
The Shield would be perfect for you. It deals with emasculation and losing control. You'll find the themes very relatable.

Quote my post and whoever else you think I am, go for it
I remember someone talking about how he liked Dutch more because his character had room for failure, which kept things tense since you never knew if he would succeed or not. Whereas the strike team obviously couldn't ever truly fail because the entire show would end right then and there if they got caught even a little bit.
We see them failing and flailing for probably more than 50% of the show.... this is pretty much as low iq a comment as I can find itt... and this thread is full of idiots
They didn't fail at anything until the very end. They spend the whole show doing absurd criminal shit and conveniently covering it up. Any hint of suspense was gone by the end of the first season.
And yet the show ends when the strike team ends. Curious!
They are under increasing suspicion from the end of the 1st episode. You can't possibly deny that. The members of the strike team are periodically picked off throughout the series from the 1st episode to the last.
The entire series is effectively watching them balance their suspicion with their innately selfish personalities. They simultaneously try to prove their innocence as they continue to indulge their egos and do more bad shit. In the end they are outed to and by everyone. On camera, in front of their friends, former lovers, people that respected them. Dutch's final line says it all - the jig is finally up.
The hook that makes it compelling tv is that these guys actually ARE the most effective police in the farm, which creates an armour to their overall suspiciousness that slowly wears thinner and thinner.
Okay, well if you're gonna go ahead and admit that you're objectively wrong like that then I suppose I have no other choice but to accept your concession.
>They are under increasing suspicion from the end of the 1st episode
Which amounts to jack shit until the show ends. >The hook that makes it compelling tv is that these guys actually ARE the most effective police in the farm
Are you stupid? They weren't effective. Most of their stupid shit backfired hard and people would have actually been better off without them having done anything.
Vic literally outsmarts every adversary that he encounters. He "wins" in the end but it's a total pyrrhic victory which is karmically in line with what his character deserves. This is part of why the finale is pretty much universally revered.
At this stage, it's quite obvious you have no genuine intentions of discussing the show and criticising it on a fair level.
Anonymous
like has been said countless times, the finale is entirely predictable from the first episode. The show could've been a movie.
Okay, well if you're gonna go ahead and admit that you're objectively wrong like that then I suppose I have no other choice but to accept your concession.
None of this contradicts the fact that the strike team succeeds every single time except for bits and pieces in the final seasons so
I remember someone talking about how he liked Dutch more because his character had room for failure, which kept things tense since you never knew if he would succeed or not. Whereas the strike team obviously couldn't ever truly fail because the entire show would end right then and there if they got caught even a little bit.
But what you're saying is objectively false. The entirety of seasons 1 - 3 Aceveda gunning for Vic due to a mixture of his personal vendetta and his self-righteousness because he knows Vic is dirty. Whilst Vic and the Strike Team "win" that saga by coming out mostly unscathed, the fallout and ramifications are felt throughout the rest of the series and are later instrumental in their downfall. You cannot genuinely take the stance that they constantly succeed when a big part of their undoing is their actions in the very first episode. That's not to mention the fact that 4/6 of the team is dead by the end of the show. Kavanaugh was on to them from his very introduction... is effectively a replacement for Aceveda but without any of the political distraction. Just a bloodhound hunting them down episode to episode and ironically they use his over-emotion against him. But he absolutely nails Lem dead to rights. Again hardly a resounding success for the Strike Team.
I think this entire debate would be a lot easier if you just flat out admitted that you're being extremely disingenuous because you don't like the show for whatever reason. But then I suppose you know people wouldn't respond to your posts because it would be too obvious why you're in this thread at all, which is to troll... as opposed to being someone who liked the show and had issues with it that you can articulate properly.

The show is ABOUT the Strike Team you braindead low iq cretin.
That also was NOT what was contested about

Whereas the strike team obviously couldn't ever truly fail because the entire show would end right then and there if they got caught even a little bit.
. The post you're referring to clearly says >Whereas the strike team obviously couldn't ever fail because the entire show would end right there if they got caught even a little bit.
Which not only as nothing to do with what you're suggesting but is categorically false in its own right for multiple reasons, amongst which are the fact that they are IMMEDIATELY under suspicion for the murder of Terry, multiple Strike Team members are killed before the end of the show, and the Strike Team goes through several iterations in the 7 seasons anyway. There are actually more reasons as to why that anon is incorrect but you trying to declare that when the main characters' storylines finally conclude that oh of course the show ends!! is somehow a stick to beat the series with only shows how demonstratively moronic you are.
Anonymous
I like how you deliberately misquoted him by removing the "truly fail" part because you know deep down all these little hiccups and obstacles you keep bringing up as examples aren't true failures, which again, was the actual contention of the post. Textbook strawman fallacy. >multiple Strike Team members are killed before the end of the show, and the Strike Team goes through several iterations
Long winded way of saying the Strike Team is placed on life support multiple times before, you know, the show's end coincides with the team TRULY failing lmao.

I had to type out his greentext because my mouse clicker is spazzing out and I can't highlight properly. I misquoted by accident and it changes nothing you donkey. It sounds like you're mad that Vic wasn't caught until the end of the series, which is just a stupid thing to be mad about considering they take heavy losses throughout... sorry "true failures" I mean. The team is literally even disbanded during the middle of the series and apparently that still constitutes as a "success" in your books. Look, you've done a reasonably admirable/effective job and trolling as you've kept this conversation going so I'll throw you that bone, but you have done a terrible job at presenting yourself as someone with an iq that's even equal to their shoe size. You also have no idea what the strawman fallacy is so stop regurgitating words you've seen randomly. My points about the Strike Team's failures were not only valid but were completely relevant, so of course it isn't a strawman.

>A straw man fallacy (sometimes written as strawman) is the informal fallacy of refuting an argument different from the one actually under discussion, while not recognizing or acknowledging the distinction.[1] One who engages in this fallacy is said to be "attacking a straw man".
So in this case, me "arguing like a less articulate prequelgay" isn't actually what we are debating. We aren't talking about Star Wars at all. We aren't even talking about my debating skills. We are talking about the hard facts of what is shown in the tv series The Shield. I know this is extremely difficult for you to follow, so I'm trying to hold your hand as much as I can, but the aforementioned strawman here is that you are trying to build up the argument that there are flaws in my style of arguing to detract from the fact that what you are really arguing on the topic at hand is demonstratively false.
ie you know you can't win the argument (since you are objectively wrong in this case) so you try to divert attention to something irrelevant in hopes people will band together with you and create the illusion of winning/distract from losing. >Person 1 asserts proposition X. >Person 2 argues against a superficially similar proposition Y, falsely, as if an argument against Y were an argument against X.
X in our example is about whether the Strike Team could ever fail. Y is about me apparently sounding like a "prequelgay" to try and negate my points.

There was plenty of police brutality though, intentionally malicious and otherwise.
>IM HIT, IM HIT
>the shield is probably the most accurate depiction of fictionalised police out in the field though?
accurate to the Grand Theft Auto universe maybe

But anon, I'm calling the shield shit for morons, such as yourself.
I'm not the same anon you were having a b***h fight with, you just sound really really stupid
The wire's raison d'etre is to make law and order look ridiculous, which in effect makes the shield look like a clown show.
>raison d'etre
That's not nearly brown enough to be
. Never forget, brown people are the most racist people on the planet.
>hence
Wire got really boring fast
Shield just kept accelerating relentlessly

only for a couple seasons, seasons 5 to 7 are kino
"kino" just means "upvote" at this point.
Kino post
Absolute kino
I feel like these kind of spoilers are only effective on people who pretend to watch stuff by reading Wikipedia articles
spoilers work when shows/movies rely on cheap twists to force drama.
My rule for kino is if a spoiler ruined the product, it was never a good product
It’s not what’s happening that’s interesting, but HOW
>"straight up merked them slobs"
>grooving on the balcony as the guy is getting arrested
>dude hits the shuffle before getting put in the cop car
lmfao does the show have more moments like this? thats fricking hilarious
I slipped outside my apartment the other day and got the same reaction beat for beat 🙁 my neighbors are rude
is it better than the wire?
god no lmao
who was in the wrong here
Way better. The wire has only one good season.
yes by far
Yes
If you’re brown, yes. If you’re white, no.
If you're black, also no

I cant even rewatch the wire anymore, its so bad
bad how? I got tired of the bane? guy and the press shit but apart from that I thought it was fairly good
he's never watched/liked the wire
NTA but for me, it's the moronic hamfist chess metaphor
>one 2 minute scene thats never brought up again ruined a whole show
You've never seen the show or gave up on season 1.
>never brought up again
>Snoop comes out of the alley and makes a straight line to Bodie... Exact way that a knight moves
>Chris shoots diagonally like a pawn taking another pawn
It was literally foreshadowing and imagery
there isn't a chess metaphor. its a scene where one character tries to teach other characters how to play chess, and the only way he can explain it is in terms they'll understand.
Wire bros... that scene keeps embarrassing us
people can tell when you samegay.
>I think I'm clever for pointing out the obvious
i always thought that scene tried to tell me that blacks are indeed so stupid that a simple chess metahpor is peak iq to them
the scene is about how project nigglets can't comprehend anything that isn't drug dealing.

actually all me hehehe :^
It’s good unlike the wire
The best tv show ever made imo. It achieved the impossible where it seemingly kept getting better all the way to the series finale.
seasons 3 and 4 were mid. the final three seasons were excellent though
>seasons 3 and 4 were mid
filtered by sutter's arc and the Black person homosexual son comment, embarrassing
the decoy squad bullshit was filler
Yes. Worst part of the series.
I think i memory holed the entire decoy squad cause I had to look it up and I still dont remember this...
it was like half of an episode
fair enough, vic's brap squad definitely mogged the decoy squad
it was important in order to help round out Claudette's character, establishing that she can make unforced mistakes, doesn't/can't endear herself to others, and is inflexible/uncompromising to a fault
a little bit of it could be cut, but most of it needs to stay
same with other little things in the show that could be cut; Shane doing the undercover wienerfight thing, or Lem hooking up with Tigre that just gets dropped without comment, etc.
Filler bullshit is The Shield's biggest weakness, still a great show, but it probably could have been 5 seasons

28 whole episodes was absolutely overkill
>Glenn Close
I was okay changing the focus to Kavanaugh, but I do wish they brought her back. She should have been the federal liason that got Vic his immunity deal. Now imagine her face as Vic spills his guts.
She had a soft spot for Vic because she didn't know how evil he really was.
>le Mackey was the big evil
This thread and board are completely infested with effete brain damaged reddit homosexuals. No wonder there's so many people that unironically think the Wire is a more realistic tv series.
>le manlet supercop he's just like me das realism
Sorry b***h, I'm "Team Shane"! Vic was definitely evil.
If Vic died in Season 2, Shane would be running the Barn right now. Captain Vandrell.
MACKEY DINDU NUFFIN ONG FR FR
>no you don't understand, the shield is good because its completely unrealistic and predictable!
Some spooks, some streets, some niners.
Why did Kurt Sutter always shove his personal fetishes into The Shield? (Cuckolding, Black person dick worship, feet, gay rape, golden showers) He did the same thing to SOA. He even played a guy on The Shield who was into feet lol
all those fetishes are actually based and healthy so idc
Previously on the shield
actually copkino, the sleaze and suspense are great, the cast is very solid etc.
The Wire is
>Wow black people are like high IQ little shakespearean geniuses that are oppressed by the system.
The Shield shows Black folk how they really are. There are exceptions to the rule but that's just like reality. The Wire cannot shut up about how much of a victim black people are while they continue to kill each other over sneakers. The Wire is so israeli. The Shield is way better
>black people are high IQ in the wire
So you never saw the show, gotcha
you're brown.
Claudette is by far more high IQ than anyone in The Wire so your argument is dogshit
Do you know what exceptions to the rule means, moron?
You didn't even read my post, Black person homosexual. And The Shield is for whites only. Probably why you don't like it.
Do you know what self-refuting contradiction means, moron?
Did your boyfriend tell you to say that?
Wire bawds really do think so highly of themselves, don't they. Sorry I don't like your precious little Black folklop

>Bring up gay sex out of nowhere
I thought you were a shield fan?
>not an argument
Uh oh looks like I have no choice but to accept the concession
I don't even go to /misc/. I just hate browns and blacks. That's the norm now, israelite.
The Wire is sterile goyslop for libtards, Shield is a realistic and macabre portrayal of brown people and their effect on white society.
why are you still replying to yourself?
>its a wire thread
>shieldBlack folk spam the shit out of it
>its a shield thread
>shieldBlack folk spam about the wire, because there's nothing to say about the shield
I love both shows, bros. Why can't we just come together as a family.....
Because a large portion of the people here that "love" the shield only say they love it, (they don't watch TV, just get angry at Twitter screenshots) because they saw webms where blacks get beat up in it
You sound like a Black, you disgusting ape.
I'm sorry I don't understand. Can you please explain in chess terms what you mean?

The Wire shows black women how they really are (pic related). There are exceptions to the rule but that's just like reality. The Shield cannot shut up about how much of a victim black female cops are while they continue to make strong white man look bad.
Why are wirelets so easy to piss off? Lol For a bunch of "highly intelligent patricians", you guys are awfully fragile.
>So buck broken that he can only reply in images now
Yup you're gonna be sore for a while
>So ass blasted he can only lazily cope
Yup, he's gonna be coping until this thread closes
The Shield would be perfect for you. It deals with emasculation and losing control. You'll find the themes very relatable.
>Please watch my cuck porn
I've already watched this very mid show, it has entertaining moments but overall weaker than some posts on here would lead you to believe, no surprise you focus on the cuck aspects
>It's a mid show
That's because it doesn't try to cram pretentious chess symbolism down your throat. It's brilliance is much more subtle. The Wire is a speeding freight train with the themes and messages It's trying to get across. It's not surprising it flew past your head. You can ask any one with a functioning brain here and they'll tell you the exact same thing. That's why The Shield is more respectable. Nobody likes forced shit.
>Assmad gay thinks im reading all that
Lol try watching a good show sometime
I know reading a few sentences is really hard.
>eternally seething over one chess lecture
totally not desperate at all lmao
You're laughter sounds like a concession. I accept
>I win because
>BECAUSE I JUST DO, OKAY
there isn't any chess symbolism. There is one scene where one character tries to teach other characters how to play chess, and the only way he can explain it is in terms they'll understand.
Shield fans are so moronic they think basic rules explained with slang are "symbolism" kek
I think the wire is complete hack trash but you would have to be a moron not to see the chess symbolism that's littered throughout the rest of the show. It goes beyond just this one scene. Like certain characters dying because they can't attack diagonally (bodie) and all the other examples I can't even bothered to remember. You don't even know your own show.
>can only reference the bodie scene
kek, so many examples lmao
It's been a long fricking time since I saw it. There's tons of other scenes that play on this. You would have to be an idiot to think it's such a far fetch notion that's there are tons of other scenes that would use such symbolism. Also do you only see things on surface level? It's really starting to explain why you can't get into The Shield. I'm starting to feel like this debate is turning one sided. I may or may not respond to your next post, depending on if you can actually say something intelligent this time
>source: trust me bro
you're drafting off a reddit theory that encompasses two scenes.
you want to be smart so bad kek
I'm not the one over compensating with little images to show everyone how "smart" I am. I think you're projecting on this one. Maybe actually take a real debate course for once in your life instead of reading the pinned image on the front page of /misc/ lol
long winded and pretentious way of saying "no u"
If you think that post was pretentious then you must be a literal moron or underaged
>Pretentious
Stop abusing that word. I hate when people overuse it. It comes off as insecure
>Insecure
Stop abusing that word. I hate when people overuse it. It comes off as pretentious

Reasons why Billings is the best:

We finally get a good Shield thread going for once and now Wire fans have to shit it up by starting a shit flinging war
could be worse, at least the breaking bad gays aren't in here yet
only time shield threads get replies is when they talk about the wire
it's always the wire too, never southland or homicide or the corner or whatever. clearly butthurt that both shows are similar but one is clearly superior kek
the show isn't very good, it's posted here because cuck porn and memes
you'll be better off with those shows
I was gonna watch this show but the fanbase is clearly insecure zoomers acting all tribal over a fricking cop show. I'll stick to rewatching Sopranos or Mad Men
Most of the Dutch parts were pretty damn good, onpar with The Wire I'd say.
One single scene in The Wire generates more discussion than every episode of The Shield combined. How can Shieldgays recover from this?
OP here, if I've learned anything from this thread I should just avoid watching it all together or else I'll end up in endless arguments with moronic homosexuals over whether it's better than The Wire or not.
Thanks a lot, guys.
I honestly think both of these shows are moronic. Nobody important cares avout The Shield and The Wire fans seem really weak minded. But this has been fun to watch I guess
>t. breaking bad fan
unyielding kino
Are people who watch The Wire really this emotional unhinged that they can't handle a little banter?
are the unhinged in the room with you right now?
It's like 6.5 or 7/10 at best. Extremely overrated but still worth watching.
Say what you will but The Shield doesn't have anime bowtie Black person or capeshit gay Black person
I don't know what the hell you're talking about, you brain-rotted fool.
It has capeshit footgay instead.
>anime bowtie Black person
Based off real NYC Muslim Mob
>capeshit gay Black person
Him being gay was headcanon but he was a mixture of several real Baltimore "gunslingers" who actually survived the streets robbing other crooks for 10-20 years
>Him being gay was headcanon
there's several scenes of him making out with other men. don't use terms when you don't know what they mean.
He's referring to the real person Omar was based on, you absolute moron
Even Wire fans can't defend it without jumping through 20 hoops of from the mental gymnastics olympics

Nah. Triggering Wire fans is more fun than being a reporter.
All you're doing is losing arguments and saying "haha you're so triggered"
And you keep giving me more fuel like the bawd you really are.
Too late
I'm not one of the people you've been arguing with and don't care much about either show, but if you're trying to make it seem like The Shield fans are smarter then you're doing an absolute shit job at it
Pathetic attempt at a samegay. Now I know I really got you anally hurting
Whatever helps you sleep at night
Your tears will do nicely
>He doesn't deny it
Quote my post and whoever else you think I am, go for it
I used to really like that show but then I lost track of it around the time that guy made the other guy suck his dick at gunpoint.
Anxiety and depression
Thank you for the plot summary Wikipedia dot com, what would we ever do without your brilliant insight
At this stage, it's quite obvious you have no genuine intentions of discussing the show and criticising it on a fair level.
like has been said countless times, the finale is entirely predictable from the first episode. The show could've been a movie.
None of this contradicts the fact that the strike team succeeds every single time except for bits and pieces in the final seasons so
is still correct
But then I suppose you know people wouldn't respond to your posts because it would be too obvious why you're in this thread at all, which is to troll... as opposed to being someone who liked the show and had issues with it that you can articulate properly.
does or does not the show end with the end of the strike team? that was the only contention made in
The show is ABOUT the Strike Team you braindead low iq cretin.
That also was NOT what was contested about
. The post you're referring to clearly says
>Whereas the strike team obviously couldn't ever fail because the entire show would end right there if they got caught even a little bit.
LMAO no one's buying that excuse homosexual
What excuse? About my mouse? It's fricking true lmao. It also changes nothing you dumb c**t. Want me to copy and paste my post with the word truly inserted? Because it'll be exactly the same otherwise. Just take the L you fricking child, your critical thinking skills are non existent as proven by the fact that you have to autistically focus on spelling/grammar/typos to form an argument.
I think you might legitimately have a disability.
You’re brown.
You’re brown.
You “argue” like a less articulate prequelgay.
Actual strawman kek.
This one is confirmation you've been BTFO.
>strawman
you shouldn't use terms when you don't know what they mean.
You can log off Cinemaphile forever now :^)
jesus you're literally moronic. i kinda feel bad for making fun of you now.
Concession accepted.
You using a strawman poorly doesn't mean that isn't exactly what it is.
Don't worry, scrote. There are plenty of 'tards out there living really kick-ass lives. My first wife was 'tarded. She's a pilot now.
Is this cope for you being moronic or something? I-I'm sorry your tard pilot wife left you anon? Sad that you feel compelled to bring her up out of nowhere. GL probably ngm

Kavanaugh was a literal joke character who was never even remotely a threat and even got cucked by the protagonist.
>Kavanaugh was a literal joke character
Well that's partly because Forrest Whitaker is a meme actor. But his character was key to the downfall of the Strike Team, albeit sort of inadvertently.
How can you not love when Vic showed up to Lem's crime scene and was grieving and Kav goes,
>"You happy now?!"
And they charged each other like bulls. They HATED each other. It was palpable and very fun.
>show ends when strike team ends
>this is objectively false
I have two questions for you and they are both yes or no answers only, so think carefully before you respond.
>Question 1
Is it true that the Strike Team is disbanded halfway through the show and the show continues?
>Question 2
Do your mum and dad know you are gay?
>mum
Uh oh
Only in Bongland
like a prequelgay, you're focused on the surface level and are incapable of seeing beyond it. its a low IQ phenomenon. How would you feel if you didn't have breakfast this morning?
And yet the show ends when the strike team ends. Curious!
kind of like its about them hey?
kind of like most seasons of the show have almost zero suspense hey?
the point is the illusion of suspense breaks almost immediately for the strike team... if you're not brown.
>thread about the wire
>comfy wireposting
>thread about the shield
>STOP LIKING THE WIRE
Every single time. You're all insufferable thin-skinned homosexuals.
>comes into a thread
>is immediately offtopic by discussing another show

>STOP NOTICING PATTERNS
>The Wire made you... SUCK?
>kicks down door
>OH SHIT
>*absurd weekly challenge blocks you're path*
>*asspulls an implausible solution while tense music plays*
>DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
and it was kino every single time. also frick armenians
This show was so kino. Vic had a talent at finding ways to torture someone. My favorite is the "life sux" guy
New thread
>GUYS I NEED HELP PLEASE COME SAVE ME
Ah. A sam hyde wienerrider
Very good main story arc about corrupt squad of cops irrevocably fricking themselves over and eating eachother to avoid jail, bad criminal of the week slop, bad self-indulgent plotlines like Vic's ridiculous S6-7 con of the entire criminal underworld.
Anybody see the prequel episode? I'm not sure it was on the show proper, cause I own the DVDs.
Lem broke his arm chasing down a One Niner and had to arm wrestle vs the Fire Department that night. But more importantly, Vic and Shane went dirty for the very first time to take down a suspect. And were shocked and relieved by the outcome.
>"...that was easy."
>"That was way too easy."
fishtank sure did bring a lot of quality posters to Cinemaphile
>shield gays still bickering and seething hours later
AHHHHHHHHHH, CHONG CHINHAY, AHHHHHH
