Make sure you also have true romance, dusk till dawn, and natural born killers. Those were written by Tarantino before he was allowed to direct

True romance is prolly his best script

Reservoir Dogs might be dissappointing, people hype it up but it's essentially one good scene followed by 70 minutes of Tarantino making a pastiche of the crime movies he likes with sophmoric dialogue and making characters say "frick" and "motherfricker" a lot

  19. 5 months ago

    1. Pulp Fiction
    2. Reservoir Dogs
    3. Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood
    4. Inglourious Basterds
    5. Kill Bill Vol. 1
    6. Jackie Brown
    7. Death Proof
    8. Kill Bill Vol. 2
    9. Django Unchained
    10. The Hateful Eight

Even The Hateful Eight is a 3/5 though. QT is good.

      Jackie Brown
      Django Unchained
      Death Proof

Django is easily his worst and Hateful Eight is entertaining as frick. One of the best casts he ever assembled.

        Anonymous

I wish he made Hateful Eight earlier in his career when the producers and people he worked with could tell him when he's being moronic. Most of it I agree makes for one of his best movies in the vein of The Thing, but a couple of really bad decisions bring it down a lot and some people hate it outright

Hateful Eight is great aside from the stuntman who can't act flashback chapter.
I skip that and it's near perfection.

        8. Kill Bill Vol. 2
        9. Django Unchained
        10. The Hateful Eight

        Hateful Eight
        Kill Bill 1&2
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
        Jackie Brown
        Django Unchained
        Death Proof

I liked Django, am I missing something? It was flawed, the pacing in particular was iffy with some parts lasting way too long and other parts skimmed over too briefly, but besides that had some really cool ideas and I enjoyed watching it.

If your favorite QT movie is Reservoir Dogs, you’re a filmschool homosexual.
If your favorite QT movie is Pulp Fiction, you’re a normie but one of the good ones.
If your favorite QT movie is Jackie Brown you don’t actually like Quentin Tarantino and you’re obnoxious but you probably have good taste on the down low.
If your favorite QT movie is Kill Bill you are probably a weeb but a fun one.
If your favorite QT movie is Deathproof you’re probably a coomer.
If your favorite QT movie is Inglorious Basterds you saw it in theaters when it came out and it is a significant movie in your life because of when you watched it.
If Django Unchained is your favorite QT movie, imma need my bike back please.
Nobody likes Hateful Eight the best.
If your favorite QT movie is Once Upon a Time in Hollywood you’re either REALLY young or REALLY old.

The only QT movie I thought was kind of bad was Hateful Eight, and maybe Death Proof. It was very autistic to shoot it in 70mm when almost the entire movie takes place inside a dark room.
