Not all the stories are a hit in my opinion. Benicio is great. Chalamet is weak as frick. I liked the super short Owen Wilson bit the most but learned I was surprisingly alone in that thought. I don't think it's the worst. That's still reserved for either Bottle Rocket/Darjeeling or Moonrise. Give it a shot if you like Wes Anderson at all

Wes Anderson went from kino to slop pretty fast. First half of his filmography is great, but he hasn't made anything worth my time since Moonrise.

story 1 and 3 are very good. I don't know why 3 doesn't get much recognition, it's very funny and creative. 2 is a complete waste of time. I didn't care for the framing, could be completely cut from the movie and my opinion of it wouldn't change

Because it fricking sucks. It has no redeemable features. The story is shit, the meta-story is shit, the whimsy is tedious, the characters are underdeveloped and unlikeable, it looks ugly.
