I don't think there will ever be a sizable heaven cast but I hope there's at least some canon angel, there got to be other big players other than Sera (who is an entirely original character).
I can't tell what's Viv's policy on characters that are based on mythos since it seems that Adam absolutely didn't need to be Adam at this point in the story (but I guess it was a easy way to give Adam and Lucifer pre-established beef), and her St Peter definitely has nothing to do with the original and it's also pointless because he's a background char. The deadly sins are so-so.
It's not even entirely Christcuckery anon. Vivzie stated a lot of the show's lore is based on Paradise Lost and the general "fall of lucifer" myth which, like a lot of biblical myth, is so engrained in the public conscience. A giant epic war which symbolized the battle between good and evil with Michael vs Lucifer being humility vs pride. Then the whole show is centered around the Biblical theme of redemption and forgiveness.
What is the point of using something as big, operatic, and thematic as the War for Heaven and the fall of Lucifer as your background lore if you retcon it in a way where you've removed the meat and potatoes? She could have made it that Lucifer ruled hell from day one and the story remains the exact same

The Fruit is called the Fruit of Knowledge of Good AND Evil. Lucifer created neither good nor evil, he merely gave humanity knowledge of what they are and that they exist.
An ignorant lamb may spend its life in a peaceful pacifist way, but the lamb isn't "good", because a lamb doesn't understand what "wrong" is. You need knowledge of what evil is, and after learning what evil is to choose to reject evil, to be good. Lucifer showed humanity truth, and while yes he engendered the ability for humanity to create great evil, without this humanity would also be incapable of true acts of goodness or moral virtue because without him they would still be unaware that evil exists.
