Total Drama belongs there, but since it’s syndicated or something there’s some type of legal thing yadda yadda

Total Drama is from canada, so it doesn't really count.

That was funded by cartoon Network studios. Total drama was just a show they bought the licensing for.

Those two are the big missing pieces. Samurai Jack may be a Adult Swim show now though. Cow and Chicken and I Am Weasel i wish they threw more of a bone.

Johnny Bravo and Cow and Chicken are too vulgar and offensive for nu-CN. They openly have sexist jokes and mock trannies and lesbians.
This was further cemented in 2022 by this comment about upcoming CN shows
      >Other new programs in the works include a reboot of the anthology-shorts series Cartoon Cartoons, a successor to the seminal 1990s program that originated Dexter’s Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and more
They didn't mention these shows by name despite also originating from What A Cartoon.

Has this ever happened? I feel like this is just one of those "forever news" stories that keeps getting repeated every few months without ever coming true.

The other anon isn't wrong about Cow and Chicken aging poorly, but in contrast, Weasel aged like wine, not only because Red Guy got more screentime but also because Weasel and Baboon's dynamic wasn't obnoxious like Cow and Chicken's.

I find it funny how there's no Ben 10 there when it's CN's biggest moneymaker by far.

      >No Samurai Jack or Johnny Bravo
      >Yet Chowder (which I like) and Flapjack are there

      Where is Samurai Jack?

CN segregates comedies and action cartoons in their marketing
It's why they had two separate anthology ongoings for action cartoons and comedies back then
KND was in that weird middle ground that allowed it to be on both

Even when it was airing I didn't understand what the joke was. Haha random animals do random things?

They're missing Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, and Camp Lazlo. Add those four, and you've got everything.

      >Underfist
It was nixed because everything that was cartoon related was destroyed during that era of CN (late 00s into early 10s) both Maxwell Atoms and Carl Greenblatt confirmed the vast majority of the animation people were let go. They even flew people out from their Atlanta headquarters to fire them

All that so they could rebrand their CN Real shit

There is only a 6 episode gap between Johnny Bravo and Camp Lazlo. Hell, JB only lasted long because it was cancelled at first, revived by Tingblad, cancelled again, brought back by Partible, then cancelled.

    >had a segment in each Cow and Chicken episode, bringing it up to 52 shorts
    >CN wanted to make an entire show of it in 1999
    >however according to David Feiss, new executives had just entered the building and was about to open Cartoon Network Studios in 2000, where shows like Samurai Jack and Time Squad were being developed
    >Hanna-Barbera Productions, who made Weasel would be dismantled and merged with CN Studios and WB Animation
    >because of this Weasel got only one season of 9 half-hours (27 segments). CN dubs this Season 5, but that's not really the true since Season 1-4 are Cow and Chicken shorts.
    >despite all this, it was still the fifth highest rated show of 2000, but didn't continue production over at CN Studios like Dexter's Lab and Powerpuff Girls did
