>According to insider Daniel Richtman, Daredevil has a sizeable role in the current draft of Marvel Studios' SPIDER-MAN 4. But like previous Spider-Man movies in the MCU, producers also want another big Marvel character to appear in a similar capacity as Iron Man, Nick Fury and Doctor Strange did in previous installments, and the top choice right now is Ant-Man.

    >Daredevil has a sizeable role in the current draft of Marvel Studios' SPIDER-MAN 4
I can kinda get behind that, I'd really rather have a Spider-Man movie where this version finally stands on his own, but I love Daredevil, and the two of them together is a classic team-up.
    >producers also want another big Marvel character to appear in a similar capacity as Iron Man, Nick Fury and Doctor Strange did in previous installments
    Oh come on.
    >and the top choice right now is Ant-Man
    OH COME ON.

I was going to say that Spider-Man sucking up to Ant-Man is even more of a stretch than sucking up to Iron Man, but it could be worse, it could be Captain Marvel.

I honestly got behind the idea of having DD and making it a street level plot, but by the love of god having Ant-Man is just moronic.

      >Ant-Man
I don't even dislike Ant-Man, but why. You'd think after the way Quantumania turned out they'd give audiences a "break" of sorts from the character.

Cinemaphile used to love Ant-Man. What happened?

His third movie happened, where they decided they were going to abandon everything that made his movies fun, and believed right up until it opened that everyone was going to love it.

I thought the movie was a mess but Scott as a character was fine, biggest problem was that he remains somewhat static because he's just along for the ride in his own movie.

Quantumania was a mess, but more importantly I just want a fricking Spider-Man movie where he's not propped up by a mentor character and cameos because the studio is scared he can't sell on his own.

          >because the studio is scared he can't sell on his own.
You got it backwards. Daredevil and Ant-Man’s in it to drum up more interest in them. Basically leaching off of Spidey’s popularity.

Daredevil especially, since he still needs to escape the stigma of being just a “TV character”.

Ant-Man is based but Spider-Fans don't want another hero in what should be his solo movie. Except Daredevil because the two have history. Anyway, Scott could have a good dynamic with Peter because he's simlar to him in the sense that he's an everyman that is put in fantastic scenarios and knows how the hero life can mess up your personal life, only that Scott was able to avoid the worst and turn it into something good for him.

I like Rudd's Ant-Man (as a character, his films are another beast), but I just find their logic stupid. "Who can we put in this Spider-Man and Daredevil to boost tickets" jeez Feige those two alone are some of the most popular Marvel characters, adding Scott would just by unnecessary and make the film feel bloated.

Hey, Ant-Man helped to save the universe after all. But for real I think it should be more down to earth if they interacted, Scott is a normal guy, he would be interested in hearing Peter's story of being a young hero, specially now the has a teen daughter that also wants to play hero.

The little webshooters are an easy tell. Most of the suits in the Insomniac games keep the default webshooters visible, unless they have unique ones or wrist guards built in like the Iron Spider and Amazing suits.

    >Peter is at his lowest point and meets heroes that show him the life he could've had
    >Daredevil as the main secondary hero representing the life Peter has always wanted. Finding balance between being a superhero and having a social life.
    >Ant-Man represents what could've been if Peter accepted his secret identity going public. Embracing the celebrity life style with pride
    >Third hero (Maybe Frank) representing the worst possible life Peter could have if continues going down a path of self isolation. Being ultimately alone on a mission that never ends.

Maybe I'm just coping but I think this could be good if Ant-Man is used sparingly.
