Sadly I knew the project was doomed when Mila was cast, the Hellboy story it was taking inspiration from is one of my favourite one and I knew that her being involved meant it was going to be made very differently than the comic. At least, it should've been two movies. And a third one about Hellboy in hell.
The new movie focus on the Crooked Man story, which is also a great one (in fairness the Hellboy main comic runs at a pretty consistent quality), and more standalone too, but from what I've seen they are again trying to keep it focused on the BPRD and Ogdru
I liked her in The Fifth Element. It's like how Keanu Reeves is a shitty actor but his autism worked well for Neo.
