Spider verse 3 is in a tough situation. It reminds me of Endgame where it might become a victim of its own hype and too many different ways the story could go. Will Miles be forced to lose a parent, thus making him like the other spider men and proving canon events were right? Or is he going to be some epic Mary sue who solves everything? It’s honestly a genuinely difficult balance, if I was a writer I’d have no idea what to do and I’d be surprised if they do either
I really hope Miles has some lesson to learn cause I really hope it's not just Miles fixes everything with no sacrifice.

Honestly pic related would've COMPLETELY redeemed the game to me. Give pete a love interest as a character that actually loves him rather than an old expectation that the writers use to lecture the player

movie miles not that bad. I would lump game miles there too but he kept getting powers randomly and was a non entity in the sequel only used for lame side missions and the finale, he did have some decent moments though.
EVERYONE is bleeding money, including SONY. So, I don't think there are going to be a lot of acquisitions in the future, unless the company is already insolvent.
