That seems more consistent with someone shoving pills down her throat to poison her than an addict trying to get high. Addicts don't tend to horde a plethora of various drugs (unless they get some windfall of money that is) they take them constantly so they usually don't have a massive supply of various stuff to chose from on a given day. Plus ODs of active addicts is rare, most ODs are from recovering addicts that relapse (they don't realize their tolerance dropped, take the same hit they used to take before sobriety and it turns out to be too much for them to handle now).
