A woman can be a secret agent but obviously not the Bond type. She would operate on a different level, using different tactics, strategies, means. If she is just a gender swapped faximile, what is the added value, what is the point?
I mean, if you're gonna do a female Bond then you should do it for real and make the character a dangerous and slightly sociopathic woman who sees men as playthings and uses them for sex and/or to help with her spying missions. That would be the real female version of Bond. Basically a glamorous femme fatale. Because Bond is basically an homme fatale, really.
But that's harder to write than to just make a movie about a woman who beats up men by kicking them in the face in poorly edited fight scnes with lots of cuts.

They try their ideas, no one wants them, so they put them into other franchises guaranteed to make money so they can claim it was their idea that was successful. And every time the stupid audience "gives it a chance" the first time, like with Force Awakens, but after giving it a chance the returns are cut in half with each successive offering. Progressives will try something, watch it fail a thousand times, then when it manages to work on attempt 1,001 use that as an excuse to justify continuing to do it and getting angry when it continues to fail.
But you would think the name in the center would also be first read, based on their physical positioning. To her credit though, none of them are as big as she is atm.
