The issue is this, Primos is not the first or worse example of awkward Spanish spoken by a "Hispanic" character. I could point at Rikochet saying "basura" in a weird way, or Blue Beetle a character who in the comic admits not knowing any spanish saying "ese" every other sentence in Young Justice or the entire existence of the show bordertown.
But here is the thing, none of those shows where trying to pass that crap as representation, none of those shows where selling themselves as important or representative for the latin community. Primos did, and when people who actually speak Spanish pointed out a very clear grammatical error. They acted with contempt. And that is what makes this show thing a shitshow.
