I really hated it. My disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined.
I also liked the first two. It hit me in the feels when Rocket went on his drunken rant in the first one, I shed a manly tear when the blue guy died in the second one, but didn't give two shits about the fricking animals or even Rocket himself in this one. It was just tryhard in every way possible and I felt totally disconnected from anything going on.
It was also just kinda ugly to look at. The other two were weird looking, and the aesthetic had to grow on me a bit in the first one, but this was just plain off-putting. Even the regular cast like Nebula didn't look right to me - like it was Karen Gillan doing a cheap Halloween cosplay of her own character.
I thought it was pretty bad. Felt like one of those films they stitch together from several episodic TV episodes. Like they had a few different scenes they wanted to do, so the movie was written to make sure they could squeeze them all in one way or another. Guardians 1 & 2 were at least coherent movies.
And I don't know what it is about MCU slop in general but every fricking one had moronicly drawn-out climactic action sequences. The ship evacuation felt like it took forever. At least it wasn't hundreds of dudes punching each other in a field like the Avengers ones.
I love the first row unironically but I only got halfway through this one. Jacky melodramatic bullshit with an awful more modern soundtrack. I refuse to watch emotionally manipulative movies about animals and this might be the most egregious example I've come across
I cried at the raccoon on the surgery table but what the FRICK was up with that ending? >I guess this is the end now and we have all individually decided we are all leaving each other goodbye everyone for literally no reason whatsoever also sequel tease immediately after so we’ll be back at some point anyway
>we have all individually decided we are all leaving each other
That didn't happen at all. Only Peter and Mantis left, everyone else is still together. Nebula and Drax stepped down from being active team members in order to run the city and take care of the kids but they still all in Knowhere.
no I didn't this movie was pure shit what was with all the fricking full length songs the gayot put in the movie too I forget his name but the guy that fricking directed it like I thought the second one had way too much fricking music in it this had like 30 fricking plus songs full length I was like what the frick 10 minutes into it I was on the fourth fricking song like what the frick is going on I wanted to watch a movie not listen to music shit was moronic
this movie was shit it had like 30,000 full length songs in it just because the writers can't think of enough dialogue just admit it modern writers suck ass and that's why everything is failing cuz you wokies frick everything up you're worse than women.
this movie was weird. it was shot during covid with bunch of unnecessary greenscreen and closeups, and then a really expensive practical set will pop out of nowhere. all of the actors are out of shape from the lock down and look like they came to work in their pajamas except the hot French Asian bug. James Gunn knew he would be moving on to dc but made the movie more for his close friends on cast and crew and to prevent someone else from fricking it up
I teared up when Rocket had a cryptic DMT trip and his otter GF told him that he was a miracle created by God and shouldn't die.
No I have healthy T levels, homosexual
Am I the only one that was completely stunned by how mediocre this film was?
I liked the first two films, but this one was really fricking boring.

Everyone’s contract was up and they were getting too expensive. Karen Gillian only got 100k a movie.

I dont really cry at movies but I did enjoy my time with it
bump
Okay you got me, I actually did.
Guardians 2 is the best of them and one of the best MCU movies overall, but I liked this one quite a bit.
>you cried.
of boredom
the scene where they land on Counter Earth literally got me into Faith No More
Yeah I crode
I did because I like animals and children, and animals in pain remind me of children in pain and make me feel distressed.
SKY WAS A BEAUTIFUL INNOCENT CREATURE WHAT'D SHE EVER DO TO YOU.
be nice if you could share some of that care and concern for your fellow man. you know, once in a while maybe
i didnt watched, i dropped off Gotg after the Kevin Bacon special
The gayest capeshit franchise
Gunn is a terrible storyteller who has to resort to the animal harm trick to cause emotions
I felt underwhelmed. Bautista clearly got fat and it felt like Pratt was forced to be there.
I tear up watching a lot of movies, yeah. I
no I didn't this movie was pure shit what was with all the fricking full length songs the gayot put in the movie too I forget his name but the guy that fricking directed it like I thought the second one had way too much fricking music in it this had like 30 fricking plus songs full length I was like what the frick 10 minutes into it I was on the fourth fricking song like what the frick is going on I wanted to watch a movie not listen to music shit was moronic
This movie is the epitome of millennial writing.
is that how you frame everything kek I bet it is

wrong
gunn is nearly 60
he's firmly in the gen x camp
Marvel should be ashamed that their best movie in a decade is about a fricking racoon
Goddamn, do you homosexuals like anything?
