There's a few shows that have gotten them lately. Trollhunters, Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, Spirit, The Last Kids on Earth, etc. There's one based on Star Trek Prodigy coming out soon too. The DC Super Hero Girls one is surprisingly decent, though.
They've been back since around 2018. PS4 and XOne were selling like mad and game engines like Unity were making games a little more affordable to make again. The PS3/X360 era was a nightmare for games like this as it caused budgets to balloon and the PS3 was so fricking expensive that many families didn't even bother getting one until 5 to 6 years down the line.
- third-party stuff on Nintendo systems tends to die off in sales pretty quickly
- no need for the cost of a physical release
- easier to get kids to make purchases on phones than the eShop
Take your pick.
Sex appeal
Yiff in hell.
No one cares about Ace.

All that strength only to be at the mercy of a bowl of grapes.
Are shitty licensed video games making a come back? Remember when every movie had a video game?
>Are shitty licensed video games making a come back?

Considering the switch is currently the best selling handheld of all time companies are pushing fast to make games on it
Yeah, and Outright Games is behind 85% of them.
The other 15% being an assortment of old Euro stuff from Microids.

Oh boy I hope so

God I hope. Remember the law of licensed videogames:
>Good source material = Shit game
>Shit source material = Fun as frick game
>Iron Man
Good movie, shit games
>Origins Wolverine
Shit Movie, great game
I might actually buy this for the laughs, haven't played a licensed game in a while
Got more examples?
The only exception to the rule I could recall is Battle for Bikini Bottom, though only because that game was still released pre-movie iir.
Spongebob had an actual movie game in the same style
Was it dev'd by the same studio?

Why is Warner not putting multiverse on the switch? What’s with them kinda shutting on Nintendo with these terrible tie in games?
