Who else exactly is he supposed to hang out with otherwise? Jimmy is considered an unpopular nerd, so he wouldn't be able to hang out with cooler kids like Nick even if he wanted to. Regardless of how intelligent Sheen and Carl are, they are probably the only kids who are also unpopular enough to be in Jimmy's weird little friend group. They are the ones who choose to keep Jimmy around as no one else would want to put up with his bullshit.
Additionally the only person close to him in intelligence is Cindy, who hates his guts/has a tsundere crush on him. And he did end up hanging out with Cindy and Libby more as the series progressed anyway.

I find it funny that most people seem to think Jimmy is some kind of genuine, intentional butthole when the ENTIRE POINT OF HIS CHARACTER is that, even underneath his seemingly high intellect, he is still a precocious child mentally. He can't help but view himself as superior to others because he sees only the surface value of his intelligence but doesn't notice the consequences until they come back to him. That in my opinion is what makes Jimmy Neutron a great show for kids, since it shows them, especially the kind of kids who were always told they were "gifted", that all the intelligence in the world can't grant you actual hubris and that it's something that needs to be realized on your own and not given to you.

They were very smart when they had the CG made - they intentionally made sure they could make the movie first instead of the TV show so they could put more budget into making the initial models so that during the production for the show the CG would still be at mostly-top quality.

It's the only 3D show to this day with actually passible animation. Nothing animates like it except for those Looney Tune 3D short tests they did like 10 years ago but never did anything about it, and it still didn't look as good imo.

From what I've seen the jannies were trying to wipe the green rock off of Cinemaphile completely, banning people for posting her in threads even though they were obviously not the spammer. I think they don't want to admit defeat because that would mean that a spammer can win if they try hard enough, so they are trying to stop him by any means necessary, not caring about how it affects normal Cinemaphile users like us and how it kills the site like you said
