Agents of Shield was better than every MCU movie. Ward is a better character than anybody in the MCU movies.

There were so many types of ward it's unreal
>roboward
>boyfriendward
>betrayerward
>squidward
>matrixward
It's kinda funny that anons were pointing out it wasn't canon before season 1 even finished. I wonder if the "it's canon!" autist is still alive. He was still adamant even after the time travel.
Betrayerward and Squidward were kino
The power of Whedon.
It was better than the disney tv shows, for sure
Better than the movies? Lol no
AoS was better than the bottom half of the MCU and miles better than anything in Phase 4.
>Cinemaphile already forgot Agents of SNEED
Worst timeline
It kept getting better and better up to the Framework. Then after it fell off fast. I barely even remember what the last 2 seasons were about.
Season 5 was the end of the show basically. 6 and 7 were dumb filler
Something about a shattered earth and bullshit, that's when I dropped it.
>he skipped season 5 kino
Filtered
they went to space
there was something about parallel dimensions
then there was time travel
it was like a Greatest Hits of "we have run out of ideas"
season 5 really felt like a proper finale for the show, then they got renewed and just started throwing random goofy shit at the wall for the fun of it.
what ever happened to this girl, she went through a phase of being superhot
I don't know, she's not the greatest actor so this show will probably be the peak of her career, but that's still more than a lot get.
Holy POOPA
PowerPuff Girls just fricking destroyed her career, didn't it? Killed it dead and didn't even finish filming the pilot I think.
Nah. Despite her being a prostitute she just didn't made the right connections
test
I used to coom to her every Tuesday because the threads would always have that pic of her bent over in the pool.
it was a better time. you couldn't have comfy threads if it was airiing today, too many gays would be screaming about it having strong women and black people in it.
WHOA MAMA
Isn't everything in the new corporate Marvel Multiverse canon now? They should absolutely bring Quake back in Deadpool 3, but now she twerks to activate her powers and leaves her enemies flattened on the ground with shattered pelvises.
what the frick happened to her
Did she shave her jaw? Disgusting creature.
Boggenings never cease, fella. I wonder if she's in *the* buccal image
the framework was the metaverse ass thing at the end of season 4 right? i dropped it after that. the next season it turned into a shittily written low budget sci fi show and i lost interest
The last season was not great. The weakest of the rest. Daisy became insufferable. That started the season before that I think tho. When they put her in charge more, she became a raging selfish b***h who did things for selfish reasons. I ended up not liking her
nah the seasons after 4 were better than the seasons before 4. Went in all kinds of strange directions instead of being repetitive superslop. but of course Aida is the GOAT
The Hydra twist in mid S1 is still one of the greatest things in the history of television. The show was certified kino. then fell off a cliff all of a sudden towards the end. The last episode I watched had Fitz gambling in some sort of space cantina. The whole thing looked so cheap and mailed in I could tell the passion was gone and the creators were just going through the motions so I dropped it. Still have no idea how the show ended.
>The Hydra twist in mid S1 is still one of the greatest things in the history of television
it worked so well, giving us the time to get to know the cast meant we actually felt the implications of the reveal (which in winter solider was kind of pointless because not a single character anyone gave a frick about flipped)
It was weird. Because the first half of Season 1 sucked. Which all turned out because they were holding back to time everything up in the show with the release of Winter Soldier for the big reveal. Then all of a sudden the show goes from sucked to god tier. It was nuts.
yeah, it was definitely a different time
it was pretty hilarious how fast it ramped from "snoozefest, boring tripe" to "oh snap, shit just got real" in the span of end of s1 with beginning of s2
too bad they waited too long to bust their load about the mythos of those monuments, which they used in season 6, after coulson was gone
>mythos of those monuments
qrd? i stopped watching after s4 or 5
one monolith transports thru time
one monolith transports thru space
one monolith manifests your thoughts into reality
i think thats the latter, i kinda forgot, season 6 and 7 were a drag and i only remember most of 1-5
>one monolith manifests your thoughts into reality
Is this from season 6-7? I didn't watched that shit
yes, season 6
season 7 is basically avengers: endgame but with the AoS team instead and each episode is semi-themed and it was a half-season order of 10 episodes iirc
just read the episode summaries. the did a greatest hits time travel thing and didnt bother to get ward back? wtf?
If they tried to do this today they'd leak it 6 months ahead of time to try and build buzz/outrage for the show
why are you posting my wife?
Civil War really saved this show. Ward made it kino.
>get plenty of movie cameos like Agent Carter, Sitwell and even S L Jackson
>not it isn't canon lol
Why were the Disney execs such uppity b***hes about this show? It was kino. And their Disney + ended up being garbage lol
you can't really have anything happen in the tv show that impacted the movies because you were never really going to get enough of the movie going audience to keep up with a network tv show every week, it was already a big thing to get the movie audience to buy in to the whole mcu and keep up with that.
The events of this show barely affected the movies anyway, so no keed to keep upn with it was necessary. But going out of their way to say it never counted and didn't happened was purely out of spite
>Why were the Disney execs such uppity b***hes about this show?
it was just feige. he also seethed over the netflix marvel shows and declared them non-canon. now he is desperately bringing elements from them back into the mcu after all his good canon tv shows were flops.
>Why were the Disney execs such uppity b***hes about this show? It was kino
Because Perlmutter was still the head honcho behind this show and his politics were very against what Feige and Alonso wanted (no Black person and feminism and ugly women pandering)
You can see the MCU started shitting the bed the moment he left. casting mutts like Tessa Thompson and woke shit like Black Panther and Captain Marvel getting greenlit
The finale of this show was weirdly a downer. Usually when the show ends and everyone goes their separate ways they show everyone building these cool new lives on their own, but the feel at the end was that everyone was just kind of sad that they weren't in a world-saving team any more, with no resolution provided
Every Whedon show eventually goes overboard torturing the characters in a an effort to provide conflict and then ends in a melancholy mess. It's part of their signature depressing style.
This show was surprisingly not pozzed for it's time. Also it had plenty of hot women in it.
I miss it
They had an entire season about Fitz becoming a drumpfter who wanted to Make Society Great Again, complete with Quake saying fitztrump was a nazi
>not my daddy trump nooooo
hydra and nazis had already been tied together before this show, you sound like an absolute gimp
Fitz wasn't Hydra before
NTA but I voted for Bernie and that season still had a ton of cringe scenes like that.
Honestly I missed the message completely and only thought his Framework PTSD made him schizo
Even worse. HYDRA predates the nazis for a long time both in this show, comics and MCU. Saying that HYDRA are le ebil nazis has always been moronic
when was this? i remember he was a hydra guy in the framework, did he stay one once he left it?
no, he still had all the memories of the things he did in the framework, and that came up in a few important episodes that inside he was capable of all that, but he was still fitz the rest of the show.
ah ok, i gave up when season 5 started. wouldve been funny if he kept some nazi tendencies and everyone else just kinda put up with him
there was an episode later in the fifth season his framework personality started to assert itself and he performed a surgery on daisy against her will, it was supposed to be a rough scene, but all I could about was how nice and thicc she looked tied to the table.
Fitz was right to do it tho. It had to get done. Daisy was just a selfish POS
Team Fitz
>This show was surprisingly not pozzed for it's time. Also it had plenty of hot women in it.
Fitz getting cucked by white jock astronaut and have to put up with used goods roast.
A retro/oldey/classical/ kind of pozzed.
I never understood why Fitz and Simmons were supposed to be something we rooted for when she spent the first three seasons treating him like shit
>S1 sucked for 2/3 until the civil war stuff was done. Ward and Garrett were great villains (RIP Bill Paxton)
>S2 HYDRA espionage was kino, and Ward was amazing. The Inhumans stuff was kinda boring, but Edward James Olmos made up for it.
>S3 is the peak of the show, but with a stronger focus on Inhumans, but holy frick every episode that season was great
>S4 was pretty great with the winding down on Inhumans stuff, the LMDs. The Framework storyarc would've been better if they didn't go into their DRUMPF BAD parallels with the HYDRA stuff that aged that part of the season horribly
>S5 space stuff was alright but a step down, it felt a little aimless once they got back to their time, but the character stuff near the end saved it
>S6 is the most forgettable season. They killed off Coulson, but had Clark Gregg play the villain of the season who is a look-alike, then they end the season by making an LMD of Coulson anyway.
>S7 was their swan-song. They knew they were gonna be done, so they decide to go out with a bang, they tied up all the loose ends pretty neatly.
Rankings
3 > 4 > 2 > 5 > 7 > 1 > 6
>>S5 space stuff was alright but a step down, it felt a little aimless once they got back to their time, but the character stuff near the end saved it
I really liked the theme of the vident girl having messy visions that alternate from past to future. Truly both nightmarish and tragic
This show would just do weird out of left field shit every few episodes like the writers were trying to frick over the rest of the writing team out of spite or maybe they were trying to force the movies to acknowledge them? I never completed it but I did like some of the stuff they did with the Inhumans. Wish they let them use the Royal Family.
For me it's Daredevil
Pure kino. Dread to think how they're going to ruin the reboot
It's on Disney+. It never had a chance.
It was good at first, but then he donned the cape and started to fight ninjas.
The only good thing of the batch was Punisher. Even if it was played by an extremely stereotyped israelite.
the hand shit was bad, but only a chunk of S2, there's none of it in 3 and it went to kino.
For me it's Lincoln
i only vaguely remember the plotoutline of the series.
was it the final season where the funny general guy becomes a supervillain with quake powers?
>was it the final season where the funny general guy becomes a supervillain with quake powers?
that was the end of season 5. season 6 was evil alternate universe coulson and season 7 was time traveling.
I completely forgot everything about the later seasons of this show. I don't even remember if I watched them. I think the last scene I saw was Coulson standing on a beach?
that was the end of season 5, and was supposed to be the finale. the people involved were shocked when they got picked up for 2 more seasons, and season 6 and 7 were pretty shit because of it.
Thanks. I shan't watch the rest then.
that was the end of season 5, and really felt like a series finale, 6 was a bit of a mess because they weren't expecting to get renewed, 7 was better but really suffered from only having fitz in like one full episode because of a schedule conflict.
post hot daisy scenes
fitz was the best character and deserved better than that ho simmons
should have redeem that hot robot b***h
>should have redeem
good morning sir
I rooted for Aida.
This. But show was already pozzed lite.
it had some okay moments but it suffered alot from being in a one way canon arrangement with the movies where every time a new movie came out they had to shoe horn a reference into the show, whereas the movies didn't so much as ever acknowledge the show existed, and it felt like they never even told the showrunners in advance what was going to happen so it never meshed with the show's plot very well. And then it just went off the fricking deep end in later seasons
Oh yeah I forgot, the whole shoe horning links to the movies, they picked the absolute worst time to stop putting effort into it, cause the show was still going during Infinity War, and the only reference they made to it was some line like "the Avengers have their fight and we have ours" or something. Which would have been fine for like ANY other Avengers movie, but they made zero reference whatsoever to the snap(no one got dusted or anything) which just made it feel weird
Ward's actor was great in Until Dawn but I can't remember shit about him in Agents of Shield, twist aside.
popular opinion is that they made him the secretly evil character because his character was boring as shit for the first season
That's a gay fricking opinion, his character was boring because his character was "secretly evil" but they had to delay the reveal
none of the major movie related twists felt like they were planned in advanced, it felt like the writers literally saw the new movie with everyone else and had to scramble back to the writing room to change the plot
That is so fricking moronic I'm just going to pretend you're shitposting
There's like, only one major movie tie-in plot. The others are small potatoes.
AoS has EASILY the best writing of Marvel stuff.
It wasn't bad was the thing. They tried to fill in the gaps between the films, tried their own stories too, and when untethered from the MCU it went full moron with all the b-grade comic runs Loeb could get his greedy little hands on.
That mad ass run from late S1 to S3 where every episode seemed to keep getting faster in terms of pacing and them throwing the kitchen sink in was the most amazing sci-fi tv we might ever get. Nothing was wasted, no time for filler eps.
i forgot about these two. werent they meant to get a spinoff?
went as far as filming a pilot episode but it never aired.
Wish Brett Dalton could get a role in some other spy show. He was really good at it.
He really was great in this show. Very convincing.
I fapped to him hard back in the day
Guy was so good as a bad guy, he had a bunch of fangirls that wanted him to get redeemed. Even had a hastag #StandWithWard that got BTFO by the writers in the show.
Why does he wear the mask?
i guess its some sort of sci fi oxygen mask or something so he can breathe at high altitude?
I don't get it
Sad but true.
I really liked this show, even though it was slow as frick in the first 2 seasons, it was a decent watch.
I felt betrayed with the last season (7) and the twist with my boy Fitz (with the 5th season, like wtf, it's Moon with Rockwell all over)
The last season in my head canon isn't canon.
shut up homosexual
ward fricked may, so he was based even before the reveal.
>ward fricked may
I don't remember that, what the frick
There was an episode of this show where Daisy (my girlfriend btw) had what looked like a cumshot on her shirt with no context as to how whatever the stain was got there.
I remember Ward being stupidly handsome in season 1 and then slowly start to look like a barely above average dude. Did he get fat or something?
I watched up to the finale of season 3 and it was ultra kino when Ward/Hive was looking at the Earth and was like "I only wanted to make it better" and had a brief talk with the other dude before exploding. Speaking of which, I know Ward returns in later seasons, but he got nuked while in space so I have no fricking idea how that happens. Never bothered looking it up.
That b***h with the knives cemented to her fingers or something... and she was registered as an Inhuman or something... what the frick was up with that?
Probably a Paul's seed. I mean that pussy was getting ravaged probably 5 times a day by the moron Logan Paul. Her pussy is just riddled with the most moronic cum you can imagine.
>I know Ward returns in later seasons, but he got nuked while in space so I have no fricking idea how that happens.
He doesn't. There's a plotline within a Matrix-like virtual world, and there's an NPC version of him, and also one of ChocoWard. I fully expected one or both of them to get their code copied into a Life-Model Decoy by the end and join the cast as a robot, but it didn't happen.
It happened with Coulson much later, though he didn't come from said virtual reality.
How do you like me now, Cinemaphile?!
My advice. Delete this thread and start a "Gotham" thread. Or I'll expose all your waifus as smokers. You have 10 mins to comply.
smoking is cool
