Aging him was a terrible idea(or done badly) and turning him bisexual just seems forced and no matter how they write him he'll always be just that. Superson's could have been DC's My Hero Academia normie appeal crossover hit, all they needed to do was keep Jon and Damien kids and give them a fun animated TV series so it would go mainstream. See, the original plan was to say "frick it" and make everyone older, with a whole new generation of characters, Jon was supposed to be the new diverse Superman for 5G, but when that failed, a lot of it made its way to regular canon, so now we're stuck with 2 Supermen.
