Since Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm, Star Wars has been stuck in a position similar to the one Star Trek was in after the finale of TNG. Multiple spinoff shows and new films every two years? Congratulations. People didn't like anything except DS9 and First Contact. DS9 wasn't even about Trekking through the stars and First Contact was just another action movie. Similarly, people don't really like anything except Mandalorian and Rogue One. The initial good season of Mandalorian was just a space western and Rogue One was literally just Star Wars action porn cranked up to 11.
It's truly fascinating.

I'm of the opinion that paramount is all-in on nu-trek as their flag ship franchise for their streaming service. I really can't imagine STD season 3 or picard season 2 were worth their production budget, I think they're "loss leaders" for the platform. Furthermore a 98% critic score is ridiculous if they aren't bribing them.
In contrast Disney is already winning in the streaming arena so I think it's much less likely they're shilling for obi-wan - a (supposedly one-season) low budget spin off of a dying franchise.
Given these two things I don't think it's unreasonable to think paramount is paying reviewers and disney isn't. If that makes me a schizo then guilty as charged I guess. But if I don't think that's crazy I don't see how you would expect me to recognize the schizo thread meme. As for being autistic you'd think immediately recognizing something from part of the pattern would make you autistic vs. not noticing it.
