ugh... hackloni?
My favorite was Gondor
screenshot of the glowing peak?
Looks like fricking Mordor
Exactly what I thought
Planet is actually apocalyptic Middle-Earth.
this show is just a psyop to get us mentally prepared for the coming Amazon disney merger.
>leaves us at the end of the show

Like poetry
>Baylan most interesting guy in the show
>Cool costume

>Ray died this year
God damn it.
>next season might be canceled or if it happens will take more than 1 year to film
It's over, Shin will be forgotten
Weak conclusion to the series both with the end state and the ground covered, leaving everything on a sour note. The only plotpoint that got resolved was bringing back Thrawn and Ezra to their own galaxy, but now it left Ahsoka, Sabine and Huyang stranded and fricked over. Baylon's mcguffin ended up just being teased as Space Mt.Doom on the horizon and with Shin still there as well, they split up for no reason at all. Leaving the whole Baylon/Shin plotline in this state, after dragging their feet with it all through the 8 episodes, feels kinda insulting. You can do that kind of pacing when you have 20+ episodes per season. Hell, even with 8 episodes, more should have happened. 8 x ~45 minutes is 6 fricking hours. That's an entire movie trilogy worth of runtime with 2h per movie. And we don't even know if and when there's more to come to pick up where we left. Filoni getting a grand finale movie? Fricking kek. He can't even tell a complete story within 6 hours. How is he supposed to finish up several series worth of buildup and loose threads in a single movie?
each episode exists only to get you to watch the next episode and in much the same way each series exists only to get you to watch the next series
its a never ending treadmill of consumption, story be damned
yes. the final destination of all "franchises" is the young and the restless
never-ending soapslop
All in all it was a huge waste of time. And I'm saying that as a regular on a website that is only there to waste time.
If even the action was good or the dialogue or god forbid, the acting. It seemed more like 8 episodes of an animated show with 20 min episodes.
Methinks Filoni still hasn't quite grasped that you can't use the pacing you had when writing a 20 episode series for short series and movies, especially when there a 2+ year gap until the next installment is ready to air and there's a high likelihood of shit getting cancelled.
He needs to go back and watch some of the older cartoons Disney produced to understand both how to pace a show and how to write a villain.
Especially if the antagonist is supposed to be a genius whose plan will always benefit him win or lose.
Filoni's biggest problem is that he's still working in a Saturday morning cartoon mindset. All that's changed is he's now doing it in live action and has ostensibly moved up to the big leagues, yet the majority of Star Wars fans lap it up like it's the best thing since sliced bread
I don't even know what they are going to do with Baylan now. They are going to have to kill him off but his character isn't in a situation that would make sense for him to get killed off so early. So I guess they will deep fake him and give him even less screen time in the next season. A recast seems unlikely because no one will come close to capturing Stevenson's charisma and gravitas.
They should rewrite Shins character to take his place. Have her realize the error of her ways, look for her master, find him near death, and have her take up his mission.
>somehow Baylan got lost in the World Between Worlds
>The only plotpoint that got resolved was bringing back Thrawn and Ezra to their own galaxy, but now it left Ahsoka, Sabine and Huyang stranded and fricked over.
Ezra could have easily got coordinates for their location before jumping ship so they'll be picked up immediately whenever we next see these characters so it makes the whole "stranded and left behind" talk pointless.
>He can't even tell a complete story within 6 hours. How is he supposed to finish up several series worth of buildup and loose threads in a single movie?
Dave has been doing this for over a decade. He doesn't know how to give a proper send-off for characters and keeps them alive until they get killed off in a comic or novel that no one will read. It took him over 5 years just to continue with the Thrawn and Ezra storyline. Even IF his film goes ahead he will not finish the story and leave a ton of questions unanswered. I knew this would happen as soon as I saw the over-bloated cast list.
>the over-bloated cast list.
If the pace was faster it could have given us a lot more from everybody.
>the entire show was a 6 hour waste of time
Wow. I'm so completely and utterly shocked. No one could have seen this coming.
Never undestood what they expected out of this as it requires the normie audience to grind through not one but two childish cartoons with many seasons just to get the basics down so they could finally watch this crap.
And now they're basing their new republic flicks on these. Nobody's going to watch any of this crap just to get what's happening to who or why. This ultra turbo content consoomerism is even off putting to the normies.
It makes money though, doesn't it?
Unlikely, the streaming series need to either sell merchandise or drive subscribers, I guarantee you that even in the soi blasted wastes of reddit there is not a single person who said to themselves "I need to get Disney+ to watch Ahsoka" so that leaves merchandise, and if nobody watches the show nobody's going to buy the toys.
Nobody buys toys anymore anyway.
The high quality stuff (Hot Toys, etc.) will sell out. Good guys because of Rebels nostalgia and Baylan, Shin and Thrawn because they look cool.
Pity they didn't at least put one Tie Defender in the hangar, considering it's Thrawn's signature project in Rebels and the new books. Would have been nice to see them pop up as models again. Then again, maybe it's better they didn't. Would have looked bad if they had been effortlessly taken down like those Tie Fighter in this episode.
>The high quality stuff (Hot Toys, etc.) will sell out
That was never where the money was, though. That's limited to a small number of deeply moronic manchildren.
What I mean is they don't buy toys like they used to. Not even in the best of circumstances. It's enough that action figures still have mass-market presence, but nobody pretends action figures matter to kids today the way they mattered to kids in the 2000s, let alone the 80s or 90s.
>t-shirts, games, novelty items, etc etc.
This is true, though. Grogu sold a shitload of coffee cups and T-shirts.
Grogu basically saved the Star Wars brand from a financial standpoint, if Mandalorian hadn't been a hit I think that would have been the end of it. It's funny that they took an easy win and still managed to fumble it by bringing in the fat HR ladies to write it in season 3.
I said it years ago, but I'll say it again. That was a very temporary "save". Because people only watched Mando season 1 because of the baby Yoda memes. Straight up, tons of women who never watched the movies got Disney+ just to watch that and be in on the joke and to see the cute puppet. But that was never going to be long term success or a new fanbase, those people left as quickly as they came. Season 2 killed the vibe for them quickly by ditching the standalone accessibility of the show in favor of becoming another vehicle for Filoni's cartoon characters to cameo and hijack the plot. When you start spouting off a bunch of references to storylines and characters that you needed to know from previous shows, it lost every single one of them. Because the majority viewers of the show just wanted more baby Yoda scenes. If anyone at Lucasfilm and Disney had had any sense, they would never have let Filoni do what he wanted with the show from that point onward. He cannot help himself but to make every project he is part of about Ahsoka, Bo Katan, Rex, Hera, Sabine, etc. Surely they knew this by then and could have prevented it to actually protect the good will and merch sales they were finally generating. But they didn't and here we are, that brief revival long behind us.
They absolutely do, this is just a cope after Hasbro nearly went bankrupt trying to sell Sequel Trilogy stuff nobody wanted. The hilarious thing is apparently there was some spat with LEGO because Kathleen Kennedy wanted more Rey and Sequen themed sets and Lego told her they only wanted OT and Mandalorian.
It's also not just toys, it's t-shirts, games, novelty items, etc etc. If you go into a Hallmark store after Halloween they'll have an entire wall of Star Wars christmas ornaments, the same pattern presents itself, you see lots of OT, some Prequel stuff, and Mandalorian stuff. I doubt you'll see any Ahsoka stuff this year.
nuwars watchers will look and continue to look for any excuse to watch their weekly slop
>"elon smurf we are ready to depart"
>doesn't fricking leave
>sends his limited forces for a ground assault instead of just going "okay let's go"
last week:
>call back the forces, we have to preserve them, I have accomplished my goal anyway. All, I wanted is to slow them down.
this week:
>haha, their ship is out of action, they are even slower now. Go send more troops to die!
He needed the troops for the final delay tactic in order to get away. You couldn’t grasp the simple plot of a disney show. Maybe you should stop posting.
Shutting the fricking doors on the steps instead of leaving them all open would've done the same thing.
Alternatively
>"Close all the doors please, Commander Gold Mask guy. That will delay them long enough."
>Moves the space ring from high orbit down to the star destroyer
>Instead of taking the star destroyer up to the space ring
Alternatively, he could just have taken the star destroyer 200 meters up, and then he wouldn't have had to sacrifice troopers and Morgan.
Or just fricking sent TIE fighters to destroy the shuttle several episodes ago.
>Or just fricking sent TIE fighters to destroy the shuttle several episodes ago.
Like when a dozen sub fighters were chasing the shuttle in the last ep until Thrawn called them off because he said he achieved his objective?
Thinking about anything in this show just makes me head hurt from the utter moronation.
He could have just moved a few hundred meters sideways from the tower and there would have been no way for ahsoka to get up.
THIS is the guy EUgays were creaming their pants over? Wow.
in the EU books he was always one step in front of everyone. Like the heroes made a master plan and thrawn already knew about it making a trap.
because he was actually competent in the EU
Let's not forget.
Oh by some strange coincidence the Jedi are just in time at the exact point we are going to leave. ....better send down a couple dozen storm troopers to annoy them for 7 minutes. I mean, we do have doors and they are on foot, in fact they will use the doors against our own troopers, but why bother? Barricades? Nah.
Storm troopers are definitely the best way to buy critical time against Jedi heroes and everyone, especially the audience, knows it. Thrilling 5D chess.
why even watch this?
it has lower viewership rates than Andor, and that had barely any promotion at all
nobody's watching it, shit here is mostly disney indian marketers
did Ray die during ep's 8 screening?
>TIE Fighters oneshot the shuttle
>Snub fighters couldn't do anything despite hitting it hundreds of times
This show is moronic.
>Sends ground troops to fight him instead of leaving
This is just getting more and more moronic.
>crashes into tie fighters in a midair collison
>then crashes into the ground
>lmao solder some cables and it's fixed with crab people help (who somehow know how the frick a starship works)
>uhh the shields were down because they were standing on the ship!
Who knows man, star wars forgets shields are a thing 75% of the time.
What were they even thinking, flying with walking speed two meters above ground and why did they bring the crab people with them in the first place?
The zombie troopers were silly. "Oh no, look at them go! If only we had a sword-like device that can cut armor and chop them to pieces once and for all!" The revived stormtroopers would would have been more effective as suicide bombers, preferably with those bombs the droids used, that nuked the planetary surface in ep1, instead of making them shot blasters. They already couldn't hit anything while still alive. Speaking of which, when they tried to prevent Ahsoka from entering the citadel, why not throw one of those nukes on the planet surface? Nothing says quite as effectively "stay the frick away" like a giant wall of fire coming your way.
Nah, instead of going for classic zombies, just do the infected ones that fricking run towards you. It's way harder to handle even with a lightsaber if they are 10 on you, but they have helmets anyway, so it's not like they are going to bite you. It's why the black trooper at the end what a bit more threatening since we could see his face, but he didn't even try to bite her.
>Move like zombies initially
>Every single scene after they move like normal troopers who can't die
>Three people with lightsabers somehow can't win against them
>Suddenly Sabine just mows them down singlehandedly
It's utterly moronic.
>brother ezra getting manhandled and thrown around by a zombie stormtrooper miniboss
Damn if only he had some form of telekinectic powers. Sure would be useful to use in this scenario.
Where was his force-jitsu in ep8?
>people authorize you to do zombishit in SW
>you have everything in your hands to do some crazy shit
>that dark tower with little corridors everywhere?
>let's do some boring ass shit in it
I don't understand.
I really fricking don't understand how this shit is possible.
People working in this industry are all fricking hacks.
Why didn't he clear the minefield and put those mines around his tower?
The last part of the season was a big disappointment. The story is almost non existant. There shoulld have been something going on, even something simple like Ezra having some macguffin Thrawn needs would have made for something more interesting. Thrawn having to force himself to a situation where he can almost lose is stupid.
I thought Filoni was good for Star Wars (having not watched the cartoons), but it seems that aside from a few episodes per series, he can't help but fall back into cartoon mode. BOBF and Mandalorian both notoriously had "Power Rangers"-esque scenes becaues of the goofy choreography and the fights in the final episode of Ahsoka really came close to the same. And other parts of it felt like a live action cartoon.
He could have done something really nice with these shows but he got lazy and reverted to his cartoon formulas.
>anakin knows about exogol
>anakin had the sith artifact thing
>doesn't fricking tell anyone
Have fun trying to write your way out of that Disney.
He has a Jekill/Hyde thing going.
"You were right, you were right about me. Tell your sister you were riggggghhhhhhtttt....
...also Palpatine has a secret Sith world full of Star Destroyers with mini Death Star guns on them. It's on Exogol. You and Leia might want to look into that. And tell her not to let Han creampie her. Their son will have, let's call them issues."
I have to confess, I've barely focused on this show. What was his reasoning for abandoning everyone again? And does it have something to do with the clones wars catoon or something? One of my mates will want to talk about this shit later and I need cliff notes
Only the meddling kids from the cartoon know that the villain returns and the grown-ups don't believe them, except Leia, but she is too busy so she sends at least 3PO so the other grown ups give Hera a pass.
I meant This beardy dude, why did he go off on his own?
The Force or some shit was calling out to him and the girl's destiny was something different.
ahhh ok, that pesky Force thing again. Cool, thanks
there is an awful lot of spinning, rolling on the ground and kicking in fricking lightsaber choreography.
I thought the prequels looked stupid but it's really miles above disney
I didn't like that Sabine could use force powers competently with only that one time she tried to move a cup and failed and trying to force push
Shin and failing again with no further training after that. Zombie Death Troopers were cool and were a threat for a minute at least.
It'd been hilarious if Sabine failed at that point, and Ezra would have fallen to his death.
She tried to do it in the tower at the beginning of the last episode too.
I'm not really against the fact that she could bring the lightsaber to her in that desperate moment, but then they decide to let her do a massive force push while risking the life of her friend (when she risked the fate of the galaxy to find him) in the fricking next scene. This shit was just too much for me.
Even the force push angle doesn't even make sense with the direction of her arms to push him that high in that direction.
At least unlike Rey she failed until it finally clicked... so cliche though
Ezra unlocking "FORCE DOUBLE JUMP!" would have felt more natural than Sabine lifting him the rest of the way.
This is a setup for an Ezra spin-off, isnt it.
well they can't do shit with baylan now, so just like with that fat b***h ruining all of the plans for the first wave of spinoff shows, they have to re-re-rethink everything again.
>leave 2 troopers on the platform to battle the Jedi
>troopers in the hangar could have shot them anytime
>they prepare to force-jump to the ISD
>two troopers in the hangar just keep watching
>he jumps up and kills the two guys
>there are only two guys in the hangar
>they didn't shoot
At least he went out still looking epic and not made to look like a weak fool saved by a woman.
He spent the entire show standing around looking important without doing much of anything. In the last episode he stands around looking important without doing anything. The whole show was like this.
funny how it's preferable to two women doing tumbly fun time
Stevenson standing around looking important and doing nothing was the only decent part of the show and thats saying something
I'm genuinely curious if Filoni sees the negativity feedback from The audience on his Ahsoka show. Like does he realized he messed up or is he living in a bubble?
compared to all the others handed the starwars IP he is in good graces with disney, no doubt people are sucking his wiener irl as the saviour of the franchise and the only critique he gets is random twitter comments which he can drown out with other positive twitter comments anyway
there's a bit of a cult built around him that think he can do no wrong and whose idea of quality is simply the amount of fan service cameos a show delivers.
>there's a bit of a cult built around him that think he can do no wrong
Just like with Lucas. It's poetry.
Vast majority is eating this shit up.
The writing is horrible. The artists behind this are good. The director isn't doing their job.
Doesn't matter. Key jangling with "BRO THATS A CHARACTER FROM THE CARTOON!!!" shit works on the normies.
Maybe he will listen to Campea
>curious if Filoni sees the negativity feedback from The audience
Anon...
How can anyone be this delusional? Filoni has always been actively destroying Star Wars. George Lucas made the worst mistake in the history of mistakes by entrusting any of this to that manchild furgay freak and Kathleen Kennedy. Filoni is her yes man simp and has always been on board with the sequel trilogy while sitting in his corner usurping the rest of Star Wars with his OC waifu and friends.
You've been slopping up too many youtuber fanfics.
Nah
>Youtuber fanfics are about an order of magnitude or two better then this slop.
Filoni is best suited for a Clone Wars Saturday Morning type cartoon show. That’s his real (limited) skill set. He’s just an average guy from Pennsylvania who was raised on American pulp. He isn’t a high IQ, high quality writer/ thinker/ world builder. He just isn’t.
The only 1st rate talent at Lucasfilm is Tony Gilroy. Favreau has some moments too. I think the Skeleton Crew show will be much smoother as it stars an A-Lister, and is led/Directed by another A-Lister. But nobody is going to watch that. It will at least “feel” professional.
The direction on this Ashoka episode was quite bad. The writing subpar. The music underwhelming. These shows just feel cheap and claustrophobic
>claustrophobic
Because of the fricking Volume. Everything except Andor feels like it is on a small circular stage.
Reasonable take. Although I thought the Kiner's did a great job with the music in Ahsoka. But yeah idk if Dave can level up to be a solid live action writer-director. He's good at what he does in animation at least so I think he should've stuck with that or return to it when he's done with this Thrawn movie.
I don't know how I can go back to star wars now, broskis. Andor is just... so good. The rest of star wars banal poorly written kiddie shit pales in comparison.
Rouge One and Andor are literally the best Star Wars. Finally, Star Wars for adults that is not embarrassing to watch. Everything else is fricking embarrassing. Honestly, go watch A New Hope, or even Empire Strikes Back - dogshit dialogue, hockey acting, shit action, goofy ass cringe shit all around, quips. Nothing on the level of Stellan Skarsgard or Andy Serkis. Nothing like impeccable Gilroy's tone and atmosphere. Star Wars is a dead fossil, and it needs to be rebooted. And Tony Gilroy is the right man. Everything else is fricking dogshit and terrible. You know I am right.
Let Gilroy remake the original trilogy and go from there.
Decanonize everything else except Andor and Rogue One.
Seriously, who wants this dumb shit?
Stupid ass MCU quipping teenagers taking down the Empire? A farmer boy? Fricking moronic kiddie garbage nonsense.
KK can redeem herself if she fires everyone except Gilroy and his team and reboots Star Wars to proper standards (such as Rogue One and Andor).
Hereby, I declare official Star Wars canon for mature sophisticated adults with taste:
Andor
Rogue One
Nah.
A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back are both better than Andor. But Andor is better than the rest of Disney Star Wars.
Rogue One has a good beginning and a good ending, but the middle is just messy, reshot garbage with too many characters and no real thrust. It’s overrated, but not bad.
The OT and Andor are the only really good things in this franchise.
Nah. Andor is garbage and it has nothing in common with Star Wars. Rogue One is also garbage.
>and it has nothing in common with Star Wars
huh weird i was sure those are stormtroopers in this clip
and blasters
and droids
and basic
must be my imagination.
>The OT and Andor are the only really good things in this franchise.
True, but you'll never get prequelteens to agree with this.
Why did they kill him?
Is the show watchable? I had a hard time watching the pilot episode, and the first part that set me off was the opening scene with this dude. Not that the performance isn't decent for the material given, but my God, what a dumbass scene.
>I am a professional mercenary, I will now fly to a ship and request to board and give expired credentials and pray to God the captain is an absolute moron
What the frick was this homies plan if they just told him to frick off? Goddamn I hate this show so much it's unreal.
>Is the show watchable?
It's meh and kinda boring. Peak was episode 4.
You can enjoy it for Baylan and Shin, but they stop using them at some point and are irrelevant during the final episode.
Also, they will promise you a new galaxy, but it's just a fricking boring ass planet and nothing else.
Shin: What are you seeking, master?
Baylan: Some greater power, something that even the witches and Thrawn seek to flee from.
Baylan at the end of ep8: Umm, hello? Anyone remember me?
I was half heartedly rooting for at least one of the heroes to die, at least hoping for them to be mildly hindered in their efforts, but no, they mow down everything in their path without even getting winded or injured. Even Ahsoka claims it’s perfect that they got stranded at the end. Thrawn and the nightsisters might as well have been B1 droids for all the threat they posed.
>enemy fighters again are too dumb for the 10th time to hit the jedi starship
>a fricking star destroyer is too dumb to hit two single targets running straight
>when the story wants it ahsoka sabine and ezra can kill as many stormtroopers as they want and decapitate them, but when they are zombies its a big nono and they are overwhelmed because the story demands it
>it was established in the lore in Fallen Order that these zombies are dumb, here they can run, shoot and they wait for their master to finish the jedi
>instead of teaming up on the b***h for some reason they leave ahsoka alone
Why are people loving this shitty mes again?
I am sure of course dathomir in s2 will be full of witches or some shit and they will completely forget about Cal Kestis running havoc there
>it was established in the lore in Fallen Order that these zombies are dumb
wtf are you talking about, zombies actually ran and swarmed you in FO. Here they don't run and just do walk like traditional zombies.
in fallen order they were running you down and biting-hiting you
here they were shooting and they were acting like a normal trooper
Will we get a season 2?
sure hope not
> Skoll 1,91
> Hati 1,73
He was a big guy for her
made this show watchable
Nope, he barely got a screentime
The thing is, it's not just the overall plot that's bad. It's also the minute to minute stuff that makes you shake your head in disbelief. Take the scene where they try to enter space minas tirith. "Hey, Ezra, you've been here for a decade. Have you figured out a sneaky way into the citadel in all that time?" "Lol no, was busy teaching the crab people to suck me off and give me prostate exams with their protruding eyes". Then they fricking storm the citadel and a goddamn star destroyer can't turn the entire plain into glass before they reach the gates. Thrawn, dabbling in the dark arts of moronation as well, orders to shoot the citadel while he takes off, with the only noticeable effect, that his own troopers, who were still shooting Ahsoka and her spacecraft, get crushed by the collapsing structure and thus can't provide any fire support anymore. And what was supposed to be my takeaway from the 10 second Shin scene at the end? "Oh no, she's taking command of the nomadic bandits who were getting their asses kicked whenever they turned up! How will Sabine and Ahsoka ever be able to handle that kind of threat!?" The writing, be it on a micro or macro scale, never ceases to leave you flabbergasted.
so how did that guy steal a shuttle and escape thrawn? why didn't the witches sense him? a good question for a other time I assume
They kinda forgot about Ezra.
>so how did that guy steal a shuttle and escape thrawn? why didn't the witches sense him? a good question for a other time I assume
Not only that, but it was an old decommissioned republic shuttle. The empire doesn't use them. Thrawn wouldn't have it in his star destroyer. So where did Ezra get it?
And why is he wearing old Stormtrooper armor? If he escaped the Star Destroyer, then he doesn't need to wear it. Why did he need to wear the armor during reuniting with Hera?
That was so fricking stupid.
>why didn't he say it was him over comms
> why did they let it land at all(could've been a suicide nuke ship)
>why'd he keep the fricking helmet on
>if it was just for the reveal, why not have him slowly walk down the ramp until his face is shown?
Worse than that. It's the same old republic shuttle that was used by hostile forces to against a new republic cruiser.
What's in the boxes?
the ark of the covenant
filled with death troopers
Mysteries!
It's kinda amazing that Filoni thought it would be a good idea to postpone the reveal to both the mystery boxes and the mystery surrounding Baylan's quest to some future S2 or movie that may or may not materialize for several years.
i assumed it was deceased nightsisters that they're gonna resurrect on the other side or something idk i don't really know their lore
probably something like that because the witches need a reason to be going through all this and not going extinct would be a pretty high priority
if those are all nightsister bodies and they get reanimated, ventress better get the same treatment while floating in whatever deep puddle quinlan dumped her into 30 years ago
his wife's head.
Dead nightsisters storage
>I am Baylan Skoll, and I send this message to any surviving Force users taking refuge among the stars. We are here. We are waiting.
>[WHAAAAT I'VE DOOOONE]
Kino....
What does he eat?
those little crustacean people and bottles of shin's pussy juice
What do those statues mean or represent? I haven't watched the cartoons
>The Argonath, also known as the Gates of Argonath or Pillars of Kings, was a great monument of Gondor.
>The monument was comprised of two enormous statues carved in the likenesses of Isildur and Anárion, standing upon either side of the River Anduin at the northern entrance to Nen Hithoel. It marked the northern border of Gondor, and nearby to the south were previous outposts, Amon Hen and Amon Lhaw.
Of all the cults to form around the Force, the Jedi are by far the least adept. How did they become so dominant in the galaxy?
>What do those statues mean or represent?
Stupidity.
They don't represent anything. Filoni just remembered the Argonath and thought it looked cool. The entire planet is basically a copy of Gondor aesthetics.
Big space daddy force god.
>anakin to bring balance to the force you must stop fricking ahsoka
>no
abeloths family im guessing
abeloth is in mouse shit and the cartoons, wtf? they just stole everything from eu and made it worse eh
Abeloth was EU's awkward attempt to tie itself into Lucas' TCW.
lol stop trying to pretend it wasn't the other way around, everything they are doing comes from eu just bad instead of good fun
?
Are you moronic? Mortis that came out in 2011 predates Abeloth and Fate of the Jedi series written by troy denning that came out in late 2012
but I know you are just a shitposting moron, who cares
I didn't ever watch the cartoons, only read the books, thought it was a cool concept, but ok fine any chance of them doing her justice will be ruined by the mouse and like the other anon said Jacen force ghost apologizing to ebn was nice, and the 13 and Cade I actually liked quite a bit that was a good move in the right direction shame
thats like fricking months of walking and climbing with no supplies or transportation or cover from elements or firewood or anything. and why is this a 30 second clip? why do they waste so much fricking time panning around on nothing? its not cinematic or artistic or anything. you had your establishing shot. focus on the mt doom rip off and cut the scene in 10 seconds. this is like some art house student youd give a d- points for trying grade. also, someone needs to put the rings of power text with southlands becoming mount doom on this.
>note: baylan died on the way to the blinking mountain
>Filoni rips-off LotR again
>the crab people start singing: "Far over the blinking mountain..."
Why does Nu Wars have Mordor and LOTR giant statues?
Is Ray going to reclaim Erebor from the Jedi dwarves?
So if they're bringing the Mortis stuff then they better hire Sam Witwer.
>zombie trooper is dumb enough to grab ezra instead of just fricking shooting him
>zombie trooper is smart enough to use laser cutters to open doors
What the heck was the point of this character? He did nothing and he will not come back

You're looking it through rose tinted glasses, but you won't once you revisit it and look at it with perspective: the writing in Ahsoka is abysmal. Shit overall season plot, shit characterization, shit in-universe realism and logic, absolute shit dialogues and shit """cliffhanger""" finale. Seriously, the writing on this is much much worse than, say, BOBF.
>Seriously, the writing on this is much much worse than, say, BOBF.
lol no, you are fricking trolling
At least it had cinematography.
i think i need a neck brace, that shot gave me whiplash
that guy knew boba fett was a killer? gee what a revelation, I want to post a oppenhimer meme
>boba fett..kills people???
Boba Fett was such a bad show that I actually empathize with it. Like a child without arms using prosthetics to juggle in a Talent Contest. Even though I see her falling down the stairs and breaking both her legs, I can't look away
Ahsoka had at least a modicum of potential to be something good. It had technical qualities, some decent choreography. But nothing was used. It seems like this whole 6h story could be summed up in three paragraphs of scrolling text for the next movie
I felt more emotion in seeing the armless child being carried into the ambulance than in any Ahsoka moment
>some decent choreography.
Are you taking the piss?
>wow, look at that impressive cinematography
too bad it's in service of a non-existent story padded with nonsensical action
>mando was a big nothing burger filler shit
So as Ahsoka
shin and baylan turned about to be mystery box the characters.
the entire show felt incredibly slow and dragged out only for it to bait a future sequel.
>shin and baylan turned about to be mystery box the characters.
Baylan isn't really a mystery box. We know everything he wants and the means by which he wants to achieve his goals. Shin is just his underling, what else? How much did you know about Boba Fett, Emperor Palpatine or Darth Maul when they first appeared? The actual mystery box was the literal boxes Thrawn was transferring, but even then, it's easy to infer that they are probably more nightsisters.
I don't even watch this show and still can hear his voice
RIP Pullo
S: Andor
A: Mando S1/2
B: Ahsoka (thanks to Baylan and Shin)
C:
D: Boba (thanks to the Mando episodes), Mando S3
E: Kenobi
I agree with this ranking
Ahsoka was a mixed bag of a show, but Baylan and Shin made it watchable for me
>it has a kinda cute female playing a shit character so its watchable
you're a low iq debased slop eater with no standards.
lol you cartoon gays really are mind broken eh
>what are the new canon books
>the sum total of a character is his military tactics
Never write anything.
In that case Filoni makes a shit writer look like a genius.
Gotta love how Sabine goes from 7 episodes not even sensing the force to "yay I can pull a lightsaber towards me" to "I'll toss you across this fricking chasm onto a launching spacecraft" within minutes. At least it aswers how the ladies will get back to their own galaxy. Sabine will pull the 2 galaxies together with the force.
>risking the life of your friend just because you were able to lift a chunk of metal for the first time
The girl is fricking insane, lmao
Level up
I guess the respawning zombie troopers gave good xp.
It took some time because she chose Mandalorian as her class and not Jedi.
Why do all the characters pronounce it Ahso Katano?
Better than Boker 10.
>set up some mysteries (boxes, Baylan)
>never give any hints to what this is about in 7 episodes
>don't even reveal anything in the finale
>sabine fricked over ahsoka and the entire galaxy so she could see a boy she was obsessed with for 11 years again
>no one seems to care about this
I don't understand how Ahsoka can act like they got a happy ending.
>start of the series
>"shit we must prevent thrawns return!"
>end of the series
>thrawn returns, ahsoka and sabine trapped in another galaxy
>they're both happy
>anakin smiling at them as if they are victorious
I honestly felt like I blacked out and missed several scenes. It's a total fricking loss.
Ezra got back. That was Sabine's priority above all others, even if she couldn't be there with him.
In all honesty, the galaxy deserves to get fricked if it folds to a washed up smurf with a single star destroyer.
>Sabine literally didnt care that Baylan seemingly killed Ahsoka
Really gets your noggin joggin
Ahsoka abandoned her, she thought all her people killed, her family is dead, and all she really has to live for is the promise she made to Ezra. Watch Rebels next time before jumping in to it's sequel series.
Who's your pick for a recast, Cinemaphile?
Clancy Brown is already on this show but they should pick him anyway.
kevin mckidd
no webm of shin from this episode ?
What do they eat?
And why do the all wear masks? Doesn't that get uncomfortable after a while?
Preferable to suddenly going to the light side, although I can't help but feel that that's gonna be her character arc in the future
There is like...
One single fricking scene of 10 seconds of her.
Same with Baylan. Frick Filoni.
>Ahsoka: "It's time to let go, Sabine :D"
Not that you have much of a choice anyway. I guess she can be happy now. she's cut off from all the buttholes she didn't like anyway and all she has to do now is kill Baylan and then she's free to teach Shin and Sabine how to perform force carpet munching on her.
Ahsoka has got to be the most unlikable character of a series ever.
ahsoka sisters, the andor chads are making fun of us again....
i thought Filoni was going to finally stick it up to the andor chads with an amazing tv show but instead we got slop again....
how the FRICK do we respond now???
andor is shit, sorry
it's not star wars
>reeee black people in star wars
>andor is shit, sorry
>it's not star wars
>w-wait, am I seeing a brick wall? In MY Onions Wars?!
>it's not star wars
And this is good thing
>Dum-dum Youtuber posts this as if it's some kind of killer indictment of Andor and Gilroy
>Comments all have the exact opposite reaction and dum-dum Youtuber copes hard by replying to almost every comment
lol
I swear to fricking god if you say "muh ak in star wars!!!!" you're moronic.
What the frick were those blaster deflection scenes in the tower? I'd swing a saber better than that after drinking 0.5 L Scotch. Absolutely pathetic.
Bayland and Shin were carrying the show, but mostly through "what will they do" since they were new. Then they almost cut them out in the second half and ultimately they did frick all. The rest of the writing was garbage full of plot armor and deus ex machina. Episode 4 was great, the first two were decent, and Chimera's arrival was great in episode 6. Everything else was garbage.
I really thought the season would end with Thrawn chewing the New Republic fleet a New butthole but the entire last episode was so flat. Nightsister shit is completely uninteresting.
Shout out to the TIE pilot who radioed back to base after hitting Ahsoka's ship once. If he hadn't done that, Thrawn wouldn't have known to prepare his totally ineffectual ground defences.
>so long, frickers
>star destroyer turbo lasers can't kill 3 people riding an animal
>star destroyer turbo lasers can't hit a fairly large ship just fricking hovering in place
we casting him?
Baylic Skoldwin I kneel
>Accidently stab rosario dawson with a real lightsaber.
This time it will be difficult to say how a real lightsaber was done and become a props.
don't know why he was surprised, disney sw proves time and again that lightsaber stab wounds are like paper cuts
I like how they are invincible until they aren't.
>ezra stabs him
>looks surprised nothing happened
>doesn't immediately move to cut him in half/behead him
>somehow the trooper hitting him in the head twists the lightsaber out of his hands as if it was a steel blade stuck in him
??????
't immediately move to cut him in half/behead him
Because he was surprised he didn't drop dead.
the trooper hitting him in the head twists the lightsaber out of his hands as if it was a steel blade stuck in him
The trooper hitting him caused him to accidentally turn off his lightsaber.
>?????
What, are you moronic?
>The trooper hitting him caused him to accidentally turn off his lightsaber.
Are you sure?
He has it in his hand activated then suddenly cuts to a deactivated lightsaber hitting the floor.
jesus how does anyone watch this?
I thought Nolan's editing for action scenes was bad but this is below amateur.
holy shit, I'd like to see how you'd fare when hit in the face by a super strong armored zombie
you'd probably fricking die, you twink homosexuals/fatties
your nitpicking is honestly pathetic and it's impossible to take you seriously because you legitimately think that passes for criticism
use your brain
>get proven incorrect
>immediately start throwing insults
cope
even normalgays are bored to tears with this shitty show
Cool headcanon. Reddit loved everything about this show. The only place that still hates Star Wars for no reason is this contrarian shithole.
Half the comments on main SW subreddit shit on the show, plus there's saltierthancrait.
>Half the comments on main SW subreddit shit on the show
Don't see any.
>plus there's saltierthancrait.
lmao, sub for 4chinz refugees who are desperate for karma for their usual woke b***hing
Absolutely delusional shill post.
>Reddit loved everything about this show
I specifically said "normalgays", aka normal humans and not whatever degenerate outcasts populate reddit.
>someone punch you in the face
>immediately make you drop your weapon
That's not how it works, anon.
Let's test that theory. Give me your address, and I will punch you in the face.
>t. someone that has never been punched in face
I get amused by people who have clearly never been in a fight that think getting punched in the face is an instant KO or stuns you like it's a video game.
I mean, you can MAYBE do it if you punch the guy hard enough right in the chin to make him blackout, but good fricking luck with that, lmao
>use your brain by turning it off and accepting inconsistencies between shots
lol ok.
how about cut them in half or even into quarters?
So uncivilized.
Man, I'm so glad I didn't watch this, and I say that as someoone that has watched Clone Wars, Rebels and Bad Batch.
Do magic zombies need a head to function?
>lightsaber gets twisted all about and ripped out of the trooper's side before turning off
>next shot just has a single hole
They're not even wearing beskar or cortosis.
CUT THEIR FRICKING LEGS OFF
PUSH THEM OFF THE EDGE
USE FORCE ON THE OLD b***h SHE DOESN'T HAVE FORCE POWERS
YOU WASTED LIKE 15 MINUTES TRYING TO KILL ZOMBIES BY SCRATCHING THEM REPEATEDLY
STUPID FRICKING c**tS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>USE FORCE ON THE OLD b***h SHE DOESN'T HAVE FORCE POWERS
she's a nightsister therefore she has more claim to the force than sabine does
She didn't have any powers when she fought Ahsoka in Mando. She got juiced up like 20 mins ago, she didn't use any powers on Ahsoka in the fight. She had a sword dipped in copper sulfate, that's it.
She did have some magic in Mando if she was able to juice up Marrok with whatever he was on. But nothing she could employ in combat probably, You have to be a pretty powerful witch to wield flaming swords and shoot green lightning like Talzin and Morgan seemed pretty low tier.
>Her smile and optimism: gone
Do you think they...you know... do THAT?
Yes Baylan dyes her hair and weaves her braid
Baylan brought her to another galaxy to be stranded and die.
>you will never have your own cute daughter/apprentice and go on jedi genocide crusade across the galaxy
why live?
Had the same experience watching this show
forgot the gimp suit sith even existed
was he even explained?
Explicitly no, but you could put the pieces together. He's a dead inquisitior ressurected by the Nightsisters magic
On another note, while it was cool to see Ezra with a new lightsaber, it made his reluctance to use his old one in the previous episode kinda idiotic, since at that point in time, Sabine still hadn't distributed stat points into lightsaber parry and that lightsaber would have been tons more useful in Ezra's hands in that particular ambush situation.
Why did he remove her helmet and then choke her?
It was rape?
Man all of the fight scenes looked like so much ass. Like if these dudes have super strength (and they are throwing a full grown man dozens of feet so they should) having your hands on someone's unprotected throat is a win.
All of the kicks are super slow and shitty looking, everything looks poorly. At least when you have scenes that show the legs PRETEND that footwork is important. Christ I could make more impactful fight scenes and I have 0 experiance. Whoever the chick is needs to keep the helmet on all the time, so that someone better can do her fight scenes.
>Christ I could make more impactful fight scenes and I have 0 experiance.
Do it, homosexual.
Please, someone make a webm of the scene where they stand in the middle of the room in the tower and deflect blaster shots.
This entire thing is a clusterfrick. Baylon, the most interesting character, is suddenly absent for the series finale, we get some lame cliffhanger, but the actor's death means that he effectively just wandered off never to be seen again unless they recast him.
Then there's the entire narrative of this show, like we spent six hours just getting to Thrawn, this was a fricking SLOW story. The way this was written just shows a crippling lack of situational awareness of the state of the brand and Disney as a whole. This show needed to be strong right out of the gate, it dramatically overestimates the audience's interest in the personal drama of these characters and Disney's willingness and ability to fund another season or god forbid a movie to resolve this stuff. The mouse is tapped out financially and the fanbase is too jaded to consume stuff just because it's got the Star Wars brand, there is no patience for an entire season of setup. This show needed to be fricking spectacular right out of the gate, Thrawn should have returned at the end of the first fricking episode.
All of this is true. But also "Thrawn's return" was never actually earned to begin with. The stakes of it, the logistics of it, were never properly set up (and no, vaguely mentioning him a couple times in The Mandalorian does not count). And on top of that, anybody who cares about Thrawn knows this shitty Disney version sucks ass already. It's purely an attempt at hyping up old EU fans with a beloved character from the books that Filoni already fricking ruined with one of his shit cartoons, and inserting him into a shitty, inferior version of the story that made him famous to Star Wars fans to begin with. It's not really the Heir to the Empire because Luke, Han, Leia, Wedge, Lando, and Mara Jade aren't even in it. There's nothing to like here, the member berries pandering is as shallow and soulless as it gets. It was never going to be spectacular, even if it had a competent writer and director behind it. And Filoni is truly neither.
He and his daughterfu were the only compelling thing in this abysmal waste of time, and the finale forgot they existed entirely. There was no purpose, context, or payoff given for what they were doing. They only were in the show so Ahsoka could have Lightsaber rights with someone. It doesn't get any more shallow and soulless than that. It's emblematic of everything wrong with Disney Wars and Filoni.
POST SHIN
Shin
I'm homophobic but I agree
The first half of the show is pointless.
I really feel like you could edit the whole thing down to a 30 minute cut and not lose any major plot points or cool action scenes.
The entire show was pointless. Name one thing of consequence that happened. You can't, because none of the proceedings had any context or weight behind them at all. There was no fanfare or excitement to any of it either. We never find out how anyone knows that Thrawn is alive. We never find out what Baylan and Shin are actually after or their backstory. We never find out what Ezra and Thrawn have been up to in the past 10-15 years stranded on that planet. We never find out what Thrawn's plan actually is. None of it is explained or resolved in any way. The vaguest sense of "look look look things are happening!!!!!" is draped over the show, but nothing actually is at any point.
make sure you like and subscribe to disney+ for the low price of $19.99 to see the thrilling resolution to Ahsoka(tm) Season One
yeah this is the case for literally every single disney wars project, are you just realizing it now?
Baylon fricked off to another galaxy so he can restart and build a new, better Jedi Order. Ahsoka will probably try to stop him because she has nothing else to do. Feels kinda c**tish.
>Ahsoka, I just don't think it's a good idea to let Palpatine's Granddaughter rebuild the jedi order as some kind of feminist hugfest
>Your evil needs to be stopped Baylon!
Remember, the force is female.
I still want them to end up together
SEEEEEEXXX
Wow, the picture shows that Sabine's actress can emote after all!
Sabine stated she sees Shin as female Ezra so she's already moving on.
No. These relationsips are only fun if they hate each other. If they become a couple it becomes gay and boring
>series is now over
>never actually bothered setting up why thrawn coming back is even remotely a threat
Is it only because "holy shit bro it's Thrawn! From (the now decanonised) Heir to the Empire!"?
He is just one guy who missed the entire war and loses against children. How is he a galaxy wide threat?
They did set it up in Mando 3 and this. He will unite the scattered Imperial remnants and he has Nightsisters on his side, who are super powerful. Not that hard to understand.
>they had to drag Pellaeon into this shit and ruin him too
I'm still mad. Is there something they won't desecrate? Why didn't they replace him with Daala or someone else nobody gives a shit about? Hell, Daala's a woman and Tarkin's former lover, sounds like the perfect character for Disney
>I'm still mad
Good. Stay mad.
Because he is the last Grand Admiral. He quite literally outranks them all and he is the best of them all.
>Because he is the last Grand Admiral.
Has it been established that he is indeed the last one, though?
Yes. In the show it was literally stated. Too bad none of you people pay attention.
Pretty difficult to pay attention to a show I'm not watching, admittedly, anon
He's literally not. Grand Admrial Sloane is around.
Literally, genuinely, unironically who?
A melanated female admiral.
Safe to say she definitely is not canon.
The black, female grand admiral from some Disney Star Wars novels nobody ever read.
Black lady lmao ofcourse she is that flees into the unknown regions with one of the dudes that appeared in Mando S3 and forms the First Order.
>Daala's a woman and Tarkin's former lover
Didn't they turn Tarkin gay in his novel? Or was I misinformed?
It wouldn't surprise me at all if they did, that's my point, everything just has to be ruined
Who knows. Daala and Tarkin was Legends era, nue Tarkin wanted to start a Fight Club on the Death Star and probably plows ewoks in his spare time.
I think I remember something about him fantasizing about having a shirtless knife fight with some officer.
I'm not sure if it was a shitpost or not.
Why would they want an alien that lost so badly that he was missing and presumed dead for 11 years?
>He will unite the scattered Imperial remnants
yeah just like when Gus Fring was going to do that only to get btfo in a single episode yet again.
>and he has Nightsisters on his side, who are super powerful.
literally fricking who tier who will turn out to be jobbers just like the super robot troopers in mando, or the inquisitors in obiwan, or the mando troopers in mando, or the huge droidekas in boba fett, or cad bane in boba fett, or whatever other supposedly threatening factions disney has shat out who get five seconds of setup followed by an invincible hero effortlessly blowing them the frick out.
no idea why you're still falling for this trick.
>he has Nightsisters on his side, who are super powerful.
Didn't they get literally genocided by fricking Grievous of all people?
Yes. Also killed Mother Talzin (who could hold off Sidious) too.
Yes. But they are still super powerful, which is why Sheev was rightfully scared of them and put it on top of his list to kill them all in the Star Wars galaxy so that they don't interfere with his plans.
>killed by Grievous, a non-Force sensitive who humiliatingly lost a duel to a guy that Sidious killed in seconds
>Sidious was scared of them
>super powerful
doubt.jpg
Sidious and Dooku had to use their full strength together to weaken Talzin enough for Grievous to be able to kill her though.
They kinda forgot that Grivious killed them and that Mother Talzin disappeared after she tried to use JarJar's gf's people.
Wait. I didn't watch this shit so I wouldn't know, but did they not explain how the Nightsisters are even still around? It's been stated several times in the new canon, even in recent stuff, that they had been genocided when Grievous attacked Dathomir, and Mother Talzin was permanently killed not long after. Did they just handwave all of that, or was there some kind of explanation?
Nightsisters are extragalactic and their ancestors rode space whales into the galaxy.
That reads like a shitpost but it isnt.
Just because Filoni actually put that in the script for this show doesn't make it not a shitpost. It's just that Filoni isn't pretending to be moronic.
>but did they not explain how the Nightsisters are even still around?
a good story for another time
>did they not explain how the Nightsisters are even still around?
In the Ahsoka show? They claimed that they originated from that planet where the show has been taking place.
It's a bullshit retcon.
Technically Jedi Fallen Order explains what happened with dathomir and the night sisters.
Of course they just handwaved it with some bullshit. God forbid something new could actually appear in Star Wars, better to just resurrect a dead race real quick for nostalgia points.
>HEY REMEMBER THE NIGHTSISTERS? OMG SISTERHOOD IS SOOOO COOL THE FORCE IS FEMALE LOOK THERE'S MORE OF THEM NOW
>Mother Talzin disappeared after she tried to use JarJar's gf's people.
She actually got killed sometime after that, when she tried to sacrifice/possess Dooku (???) which led to a big fight between a Talzin-possessed Dooku and Maul against Sidious and Grievous, which she eventually lost. Yes, it was as moronic as it sounds.
It's just because of the Imperial remnants, they are waiting for someone to lead them and dunk over the moronic new republic.
>Baylan
>the best character in the show
>still is nowhere near as memorable as Lucas Saga characters
>literally barebones of personality
>did basically nothing
>Literally is here to just be a white grumpy dark side old man to look menacingly
SW standards dropped so low.
>should I tell her and Luke about Palpatine?
>naaaaah
Anakin not showing up again in the EU and Force ghosts in general being minimized were one thing the EU did right.
There were occasional Force ghosts, but they were always used very effectively. Like when Jacen Solo appears to Ben Skywalker to explain his rationale for falling to the dark side and say goodbye, or when Luke tries to get Cade to stop doing drugs.
>or when Luke tries to get Cade to stop doing drugs.
This was cringe-inducing, but that's because Legacy in general is cringe-inducing.
why? it was great fun, far better the anything the mouse has done
It's shit.
lol no it really wasn't it was far better then this shit.
>from the clone wars, the real one
ah never watched the cartoon so ok, she was fine in the novels can't imagine anything like that happening in mouse wars
>lol no it really wasn't
It was. The stuff with Cade's mother alone disqualifies it from being anything decent. It's the EU and Skywalkerwank at their worst.
it was far better then the shit that is being made now, which is fricking awful, no Cade was far better and the 13 and One were a great idea
By cringe it's clear that you meant based. Don't do drugs. Don't support Disney Wars.
>when Luke tries to get Cade to stop doing drugs
I loved how Cade's response to fricking force ghost Luke was that he does drugs so he can't see Luke.
it was a pretty good series, and pelleons jedi were based
Do you mean the Imperial Knights? Pellaeon had been dead for almost a hundred years at that point and he wasn't the one to set them up.
uh yes he was he started the program
Nope. Jagged Fel did, once he became Emperor, and he only became Emperor several years after Pellaeon died.
oh ok well thats cool too he was awesome its been ages so can't remember the specifics did he end up marrying Jania?
She did, because of course she did. God forbid someone in the old Star Wars EU would ever be into someone irrelevant to the plot.
>Jagged Fel
That fricking rat. Not even Daala had the nerve to proclaim herself Empress despite her limitless ambition, and this irrelevant fighter pilot decides to throw Pellaeon's legacy into the trash and crown himself because "lol why not"
>That fricking rat
Fel
>irrelevant
Fel
Stop
The guy was explicitly installed as a puppet ruler by Luke because he was his friend's nephew and his niece's boyfriend, and he was all too happy to go along with it.
>Jagged Fel did, once he became Emperor
I still can't get over how utterly ridiculous this was. Fricking Wedge ends up as the Galactic Emperor's uncle.
>should I tell them about Exogol?
>maybe I should tell them about the Sith artifact thing in my caste...
>nah nevermind.
That's not how the Force works.
>should I go visit my son and daughter?
>No, this alien kid I knew for 3 years is more important than the children my beloved wife gave me lmao
Tightest pussy he ever fricked.
That's 3 years longer than he knew Luke and Leia and almost as long as he knew Padme.
He knew Padme for 10 years. His own children would inherently mean more to him than Ahsoka. Now frick of Filoni, you gay Black person.
No. But the "Force family" she was part of were from The Clone Wars originally. She was added in the books. I doubt Filoni will use her. And even if he did, he would ruin it.
>He knew Padme for 10 years.
No, he didn't. He met her for a few days in TPM. Then he went on to the Jedi Order and hadn't seen her for 10 years, then he knew her from AOTC to ROTS. That's a little bit more than 3 years.
> His own children would inherently mean more to him than Ahsoka.
I don't think it's a competition. And that's besides the fact that he showed up to Luke the first thing after he died, so... What an utterly moronic, petty thing to complain about. Should Anakin have been a part of the ST and helped Luke? Yeah. But he wasn't, because people who made those movies hated the PT and wanted to distance themselves from it, meaning no Hayden and no Anakin.
>Now frick of
I assume you meant "off". You are quite mad, making mistakes like that, eh?
>you gay Black person.
Racism outside of /b/?
>hmm my son (who saved me) seems to be going through a crisis of faith
>should i visit him?
>oh nevermind going through a force tunnel now and i have no signal
Star Wars is a muslim series and Anakin is polygamous. He loves his wife and orange buttcheeks girlfriend both, deeply and passionately. They just haven't dropped the truth on normies. A man can have more than one soulmate.
His kids he's basically never seen except at the end of his life.
He only saw Luke for at least a couple of hours total, half of it being in combat.
He never met Leia as his daughter and in both Nu Disney and EU canon she never forgave him because of Alderaan.
I'm guessing Mark doesn't want to shit on George's legacy by interacting with force ghost Hayden so any on-screen interaction will probably never happen. Same reason with Ewan too since he actually met and worked with Alec Guinness.
Leia did forgive Anakin, to an extent. You never read Tatooine Ghost and it shows.
why would I read something that's not canon
It is canon. The EU is the only canon.
>Tatooine's Ghost
Not canon
>she never forgave him because of Alderaan.
Pretty moronic reasoning considering the destruction of Alderaan was on Tarkin's orders, not Vader's.
tarkin isn't around for her to hate for four years until she learns about papa
Kids will ALWAYS be more important than friends. Even if you barely know them.
And no, Vader was aware of Luke for years before their final battle. And it was Luke that saved and redeemed Anakin, not Ahsoka. And since he’s been dead for years he’s had plenty of time to watch over Luke and Leia.
It’s absurd to suggest he cares more for his temporary co-worker than his own kids
Vader only knew of Luke in ESB when Sheev told him. As far as Vader is concerned, he dun goofed his own family.
He didn't know he had twins since he choked Padme and only learned of Leia later through Luke's eroding mindfrickery in their final battle.
>Kids will ALWAYS be more important than friends. Even if you barely know them.
This is exactly right, and is what Lucas always intended. He knew the importance of children and family. At least one of you gets it, but I'm not surprised the rest of the reddit manchildren here don't since they probably unironically post in r/childfree about their "wife" letting them buy a new LEGO set every few months as justification for how much money they save being dysgenic failures.
>Kids will ALWAYS be more important than friends.
Dead on. My parents and I clash heavily near constantly but they'll always back me up on things that actually matter.
>By the way Ahsoka, how did you end up in the World-between-Worlds without a portal a few episodes ago? Wait, I think it's cutting out, well, I'll call you later
>how did you end up in the World-between-Worlds without a portal a few episodes ago
im convinced that was simply a dream.
There are different ways to access the World Between Worlds and it doesn't always serve the same purpose. Ezra tapped into it when he talked to Yoda in Rebels. Luke might've been in the World Between Worlds when he crossed the threshold into the Dagobah Cave and saw Vader. It's a place of memories and visions etc. So Ahsoka could've been there in her mind even if she wasn't there fully.
Anakin getting to force ghost everywhere with a smile on his face when he's one of the most infamous killer in the setting make me laugh, the guy literally skipped all steps toward redemption, seems to not mind what he did, and he even force ghost himself in his physical prime instead of the crippled guy he was when he died.
>What do you mean remorse , guilt etc ? I did throw this guy in the garbage at the last second right ?
You kinda missed the point. Star Wars is largely about moving on and letting go. The large part of Darth Vader's character and why he kept being Darth Vader is because he couldn't move on and let go, and he was trapped in the cycle of self-loathing and guilt. It is when he saw that Luke was able to forgive him and spared him that he finally found the courage to let go and move on. That's when he finally knew his true self, "You were right about me." And to become a Force ghost, one must know their true self and then let go. He can't undo all the bad things he had done, and there is really no point in spilling words about it. What can he say? Nothing. All he could do was to fulfill his destiny as the Chosen One and make what limited good he could after his death.
That's on Filoni's refusal to have ghost Anakin say or do anything meaningful. He should be full of guilt during his time as Vader and should be doing anything he possibly can to help the Jedi remaining. The Ahsoka shit with Anakin would've had more of an impact if it was about Anakin teaching her how to become a Force ghost through trials like with Yoda while they get through their problems over the past.
>He should be full of guilt during his time as Vader
Way to miss the point. To become a Force Ghost one has to be enlightened. Enlightened people are zen. They don't have guilt or remorse. And he did help Ahsoka.
Anakin's the Chosen One though created by the Force so he automatically bypasses that shit.
That would have been significantly better. And then could have ended the series with Ahsoka sacrificing herself and FINALLY fricking dying in that final fight to ensure Ezra and Sabine got on the ship to stop Thrawn. But no, that would have been decent writing. Ahsoka should have died to Vader at the latest, but once again we skip another logical and satisfying conclusion to her character by having her die in a heroic last stand, stranded on this planet far from home as the villains escape. There is nowhere left for this character to go and even still Filoni refuses to stop.
It's been god knows how many years and I still can't get over how she only survived Vader because of fricking force time travel.
more like space travel than time travel
It truly was a shark jumping moment and an awful piece of asspulled writing. Filoni used time travel to change the past just to save a character that had no reason or purpose to still be alive after those events. It fricking sucks and is an egregious misuse of something so lore breaking as time travel.
>Filoni used time travel to change the past
She never died. He didn't change the past. You're either a low IQ moron who didn't get it, or a low IQ moron who's parroting opinions of low IQ morons who didn't get it.
This is not true and is simply not how it works. She died. Then Ezra went back and changed it. The show could not have been more explicitly clear about that.
We literally see her walking away after the duel. Slit your wrists.
Back then, many thought it was her force ghost.
Only morons thought that. Especially since it was established that you have to undergo training to become one. Especially since she didn't fricking glow. Especially since she didn't have to limp if she was ever a force ghost. God, some Star Wars "fans" are really fricking moronic, it's embarrassing. How can one get filtered by a franchise for children this hard?
IIRC people were divided on if that scene was literal or not back in the thread on Cinemaphile because "how the frick could she survive Vader?".
There was some speculation but afterwards it was clear it was literal. I don't know where this idea that Filoni changed his mind or was forced to kill and resurrect Ahsoka came from. He set up the damn space whales in S2 and paid them off in the S4 finale. He knew what he was doing when he didn't show Ahsoka's death on Malachor.
You are objectively wrong. She was dead. Ezra changed the timeline. Simple as you brainded midwits.
>You are objectively wrong.
Yes you are. Typical Star Wars fan not paying attention and making up his own mind about how the story went. Even more pathetic in your case bc you only want to believe Ezra changed the timeline to justify your seethe.
I am pretty sure this moron is trolling. Stop giving him (You)s.
That or people just want an excuse to be mad. Which is why you see a lot of these bs conspiracy theories surrounding the franchise.
You quite literally did not understand the episodes and never understood Star Wars that you are defending and excusing it. Just completely delusional.
You're trolling right? We saw her walking down the steps at the end of the episode in season 2, we saw her survive. It's only in season 4 we saw how she survived, future Ezra saved her. There was never a version of events where Ahsoka died there. She did die on Mortis though.
Use your brain. He always planned on Ahsoka surviving. That's why her death is obscured and you see her walking away from the duel with Vader. The past wasn't changed. That's just what happened. She was pulled into a mystical realm for a minute and then put back.
>saw the trailer of her facing off against vader
>oh shit i guess that's how she dies because vader would fricking despise her
How naive I was to believe the furgay would let his pet character die.
>future ezra pulled her into a different dimension to save her
It's not really time travel but a stable time loop I guess.
It took me this long to realize Filoni is a Narnia gay
He's a LOTR gay.
And just like with Star Wars, he understood neither.
Source?
>blade of talzin is just a glorified lightsaber/beskaar blade
lame
That's what it was in Clone Wars lmao.
honest with you senpai I don't remember it from clone wars
It was one of the obscurer episodes to be fair, released after the show's cancellation.
I liked that episode and how Windu didn't want to go on a mission with JarJar then he learned that he wasn't a total moron.
It was basically Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. But that's my favorite one and Mace's dynamic with Jar Jar was good.
That episode was wild but extremely based. Mace Windu was basically on the verge of committing a hate crime against Gungans, only to end up respecting him for banging the bird queen and his penchant for "accidentally" massacring everyone who gets in his way.
>Do you miss Star Wars?
>I miss the idea of it.
Why didnt Thrawn just kept reviving all his zombie troopers from the beginning? like when he sent a bunch to get Erza and Sabine.
I was promised orange butt cheeks and a constant porno
Honestly, four more episodes of Ahsoka like Andor would've easily wrapped up the Shin/Baylan plotline by having Ahsoka and Sabine track down Baylan as he goes to some location where he releases Abeloth, Abeloth possesses Shin as she happens to find Baylan there, Baylan is killed by possessed Shin, and Ahsoka/Sabine together finish off Shin but releases Abeloth's spirit back into the universe for future stories.
By the end it seemed pretty clear Ahsoka is more like long film that's set up to have a sequel or even a trilogy. Maybe it goes Ahsoka S1, S2 and then the Filoni movie. But yeah they could've done more if this was paced like an actual tv show.
>old eu good
Disney Wars being trash doesn't make the old EU suddenly not infested with utter fricking garbage too.
>sun crusher
>luuke skywalker
>yuuzhan vong
And so on. Did have some actual proper good stuff though, which is something it has over Disney.
Baylan dies offscreen and Ray Park returns to be Shin's master
why would you condemn ray park to suicide like that
can we have a luke miniseries slop now
at least give him mara jade
she can even be black/brown if the israelites at disney demand it
George Lucas hated Mara Jade but if he was to give Luke a love interest I wouldn't be surprised if she was black given George's own tastes.
No. I refuse to accept a black Mara Jade. Beautiful white redhead or we riot. All I want is to see Luke with his wife successfully training a new Jedi Order. It's all I ever wanted from Disney and they did everything in their power to prevent and destroy that.
"B-but it would balloon our budget to have a miniseries with a deaged Luke. It can't be done!"
"No problem, you just recast and use a new acto-"
"Nooooooo, It's deep fake, de-aging, or nothing!!!! It's simply imposibleeeeeee!!! Oooh noooooo!!"
De-aging and deep fake was a mistake.
Peoples reaction to Solo scared Disney into never recasting I guess.
Amusingly, the new actor was the least of Solo's problems. Even with a cloned and properly aged Harrison Ford, this movie would have still been a stinker.
Yeah. But for some reason morons screamed about how he doesn't look like Harrison Ford and now we're stuck in deepfake ai voice zombie hell.
Since Baylan is going to Mordor he'll be replaced with Thorin's actor.
This time he'll be tall and large instead of a midget.
On the subject of if Anakin should show up for Ahsoka or not given that he didn't later when members of his family needed help, the true issue is no relevant series should have been made between the OT and the sequels, we are watching series that should lead to the sequels and no one want to acknowledge them, it's a loose / loose situation, nothing good will come out of this because of the timeline, we will have a S2 where they will uncover the secret of the force without even having Luke involved (the only true Jedi in the setting ) because he's supposed now to become a milk drunk hobbo.
