tbh I've been fiddling around with NAI's anime diffusion v3 model and it's ludicrously better than the v1 they released last year. Easily beats stablediffusion if the tags are available of danbooru, which is its only real limitation. It's funny remembering people mocking AI's hand and eye issues earlier this year when I only get funky results like that now on maybe 1 out of every 100 or so generations.
People really, really are underestimating how fast this shit is improving.
It doesn't matter how good it gets, AI will literally never be able to create something exactly as a human envisions it, it will only ever be able to draw from databases and make variations of the same thing, it can never make anything new or worthwhile, humans will always be superior in spirit
