AI is just going to look like Tarantino movies. Plebs will think they're the best movies ever made while old hats feel dejected.

Oldgays are going to profit from this more than anything. You can have an AI making you a lifetime supply of "old" films and they won't be trying to ironically subvert the old formulas to show how wrong and outdated they are

But I already have a lifetime supply of old films? There's no fricking way I will ever get through my watchlist of 5500+ films.

So? That's just still images, even CGI can convincingly fake a still image of a human. Convincing human footage is a whole different beast.
And even if it looks totally real, the mere knowledge that something is AI generated will turn people off from it. Yeah there will still be low IQ mongrels that eat it up, but there will still be a huge market of people that only want to watch real humans.

Okay so my conclusion is that AI seems really creative at first, but for some reason it only has like 12 ideas, if you ask it to write a show, it will come up with like 12 episodes that seem pretty creative at first, but once you ask it to do more the ideas quickly start to get repetitive. I feel like AI will become less creative than people and it will get realllllly obvious in like 2 years

Holodeck technology is literally right around the corner, I really don't people realize this. Sure, images, films, that will all improve with this AI technology, but after that we will literally be living in virtual realities where anything we want to happen can happen. Time travel might be impossible but this might be the next best thing. Your biggest fantasies? It will make them a reality. This technology will be so significant it could change the course of human history.

Listen man, I know it's easy to be skeptical or dismissive of this, but I feel like this is only the beginning. It might not be right away, it will take some time, but eventually we will have AI that is as creative and intelligent as humans and then some. This will be revolutionary.

          >it will take some time, but eventually we will have AI that is as creative and intelligent as humans and then some.
Yeah, and we are far far from that and until then Ai will be uncreative slop only good to put even more distance between the hand of the artist and paper.
Also can't wait for the further lowering point of access for beign considered and artist and near future artists growing up with art that is only and vague approximation of what they were thinking.
Can't wait for personal starships. Soon

Few years from now, I'll be enjoying AI features that look like they were shot in 70MM, have actors that are long gone and I'll make sure these films do not fall victim to moronic modern Hollywood tropes.

no its not lol. they already build their blockbuster slop around the massive CGI dreck because the pajeet computer slaves start working on it before they shoot any real scenes, now with this AIslop that is inconsistent as frick at ALL times, barely moving, mistakes everywhere, they would need to generate massive amounts of footage and build a story or logic around it. this wont catch on till its actually useful and accurate, which it wont be for several years to come, if its not stagnating before that. as of now its just a minor tech fad.

AI won't only kill cinema, it will kill the entertainment industry in general. And not in a cool way as some Cinemaphiletards think about it. You won't have any access to it except for castrated versions with restrictions and subscription plans. Your movies, games and cartoons will become soulless corporate propaganda, your "indie" DIY independent field gonna become a warzone for pajeets to spam their garbage in order to earn at least 0.05$ a month. And that's only entertainment industry. It will replace every job that doesn't involve dangerous and hard physical work. Even burgerflippers gonna be replaced. In 5 years there won't be any job for humans except being a sewer cleaner or farming lung cancer at mines, because it's gonna be the only places where keeping humans is cost-efficient. And there's not really a big demand for sewer cleaners and miners since there're already millions of brownskins who are ready to work for food. There are morons who say "ummm actually it's just like when the steam engine..." no, it is not. It is not like anything in the human history. We've never seen anything like AI. It is unironically over. It's not even cool AI like in the movies, it's just an ultra corporate-greed copy-paste machine with extra steps. Humanity lost because it is filled with brainless morons who only think about themselves. I hope I will be able to at least jump on some techbro's head in the future poverty riots before I die from AI generated covid 20
