Stripper. She's a stripper.
Watch the kino.
I have. Many times. She's a stripper.
Okay, now I might watch it.
so an early version of gogo dancers?
I can't blame you. Nowadays people don't use words with their proper meaning. Maybe this is one of the reasons people speaks so little nowadays.
what?
IIRC, her friend that wanted to be a professional ice skater does start working at the local strip club, but not the main character.
>woman
>welder
>at a steel mill
my fricking sides
hollywood was pushing this shit back in the 80's
They were pushing it from its inception
About 6% of welders are women, apparently. It's not that unlikely.
5% actually and that's in the fricking 2000s, not the 1980s. And that's women welders in general, not at a fricking steel mill.
6 percent chance IS pretty unlikely anon, but oddly enough I vaguely know a fairly good looking woman who works as a welder.
“Women”
yeah actual women, do you think pipeline or shop work is in any way woke? trannies would get bullied out of every jobsite within a couple days.
I would much prefer to have a butch troon on a work crew than a fricking woman lmao
I would rather someone that does nothing and doesn't get in the way versus a walking liability that can occasionally run a bead, in between bouts of suicidal ideation.
No, you wouldn't. You really, really wouldn't.
Fricking this!
People have to understand by now that even if some of it was good all movies are and have always been propaganda pushing a very specific agenda
Our currant hellscape was molded by these very films
You might say the premise is silly but I don't care, I like these 80s blue collar kind of movies that are set in unglamorous places or at least show grime and snow lying around, not just "sunny day in LA" aesthetic. I kinda feel that Hollywood has mostly stopped making blue collar kino.
Sets in general don’t look “lived in” anymore
There was a movie about two guys trying to find their kidnapped kids, I can't remember the title, but it was amazingly realistically set in a modern suburb. None of this brownstone/Cape Cod/designer home bullshit.
>A welder? Well I 'ope she dances better than she welds. I mean, look at that, her mix is all to wiener. That's too much acetylene is that. Them joints won't 'old frick all.
>dated a 36 year old
gross
You what's crazy? Jennifer Beals is STILL hot. She's 60 and looks like a well preserved 45 year old
