too large scope
it should have just started with Philip dying and the conquest right away, considering just how vast it is. It tried to do both and it was a long borefest. The acting is all over the place, not a good movie for anyone involved tbh. They also butchered his kino speech and just made him a seething baby. His last stand against the elephant is fricking kino though
pic related is an actual kino film with colin and hopkins
when they were in modern day baghdad, some men mutinied, because they thought he adopted too well to asian customs and were just fricking tired of warring. alexander gave a speech and the soldiers begged for his forgiveness and followed him forwards with no b***hing
in the movie, this takes place when they are over in india i believe, and and alexander throws a fit, and the morale is ruined, completely butchering it
I'm so tired of the modern world bros, imagine how it would feel to ride with Alexander, or be one of a million generals after him trying to emulate his glory. Instead, I'll just die on my desk making money for someone else. It's all a joke.

Colin Farrel wasn't bad casting, and I say this as a Greek. At least he could pass for a northern Greek being as swarthy as he is. Acting wise he needed coaching though, and no Irish accent.
For me, it's Rosario Dawson performing that moronic dance. It does show the challenge of recreating a world about which we know so little. No one has any idea the kind of music they had or the kind of dances there were.
>he saw the End Wokeness tweet complaining about the new new Netflix documentary because Alexander's bi in it, as if he wasn't bi historically and in Alexander 2004 as a result
Same and I laughed so hard. Imagine not having seen this box office bomb for the cast and Rosario getting naked, even if you're very clearly severely uneducated on not only Alexander, but the Greeks.
Too much skipping back and forth in time. I get they wanted to use Angelina Jolie as much as they could but a chronological format would have been fine.

forgot pic since I'm fricking moronic
Which speech? Ironically the new series starts with Phillips death and focuses only on the Darius campaign

yeah being stabbed in the guts and bleeding out in a field on a sunny afternoon for another mans glory and riches instead sounds preferable

Too complex for normies.

It's like... right there

I don't understand people having a problem with his Irish accent when in these biopics romans and greeks with british accents always get a pass
It's simple, the irish accent sounds comical to anyone not irish.

rosario dawson breasts, but no angelina jolie breasts.
I liked it back then
so final cut revisited is the best one right

One of the directors cuts is in chronological order
Oliver Stone is terrible director
Irishman as Alexander The Great...what a fricking joke.
Watch The Final Cut.
