In 2017, I fricked Heather Ontos on the train tracks behind the CSCD in Denton. Man, her ass could grip. Real tight, super bushy (have you seen her shoulders??), and a sphincter you could only dream of. I had fun at first. But she was so weirdly macho about it. She kept saying things like "thats right b***h, am I gonna make you nut?" and "fricking gay I bet you can't wait to bust in my fat hairy man ass hahaha homosexual". I just ignored her and kept railing. She continued unironically calling me her b***h and a gay as she had several hands free orgasms spilling veganal fluids onto the train tracks, getting more angry and dominant after each one. "Yea i bet you like dudes. You look like a pussy" he'd say "I cant even feel your limpdick b***h." I just kept clapping, wondering wtf is up with her. After about 20 minutes of railing Heather's asspussy, drenched in sweat and piss, I finally got a nut off despite her constant berating and degrading comments. She immediately hopped off, laid flat on his back and bent her legs over her head so the cum dripped out of her butthole directly into her mouth. "The frick you looking at? You like this gay boy?" She kept saying. After she got every last drop. She cackled like a rooster and punched me in the face as hard as she could. She nearly broke her hand, but I was fine. "Fricking gay" she said as she limped off into the sunset, shaking her wrist. That was the first and last time I fricked Heather Ontos on the train tracks behind the CSCD in Denton.

Why does the existence of Eric's comics infuriate people so much? Just don't read them and it's like they don't exist.

You've got a couple people saying they read it/liked it. Not much in the way of discussion, theorizing, criticism, fanfic, cosplay, art, memes etc., but that's not really relevant. We know it's not a big hit. The entire fandom is a bunch of reactionaries hoping to make a statement and sharing the same schadenfreude.
That's always the tell with a thing that people are going to care about and it's a tell of a big failing in Alphacore. I don't care if I don't like a comic, I want to talk about it anyway, that's how you get the discussion that fuels the fire and keeps the story going.

That marketing campaign last year was very strange. There were multiple threads daily during the weekdays for a while trying to make general threads when there wasn't even a single comic out yet. And of course since there was nothing of substance to talk about every single thread became an offtopic shithole to spam the latest culture outrage buzzwords. Peak cynical manufactured outrage marketing. Very funny that his astroturfing got his shit banned on a subreddit and he tried spinning it as getting canceled. Fricking shameless.

When the founder/creator of the entire line literally claims that people asking "What did you like about this book" are actually trolls and haters, that is not conducive to discussion.
Of course now after shutting down discussion he can play the victim and say that discussions are banned and grift for more outrage bucks. Funny how that works.

I guarantee Rippa had nothing to do with the Rippaverse spam here. The simple fact is that his general audience just overlaps with the part of the anti-pc crowd on Youtube that's likely to be on Cinemaphile. The actual spammers did it for free because they thought Cinemaphile would give it bigger traction and prop it up instead of just be lukewarm to the comic.

Never read it, and honestly, based on his own description of it being “anti-woke”, I never will.

Based on Eric July as a person, I’d imagine his comics likely lack any depth and assuming they’re not pushing some kind of right wing agenda, they’re likely lacking any kind of meaning period. The “wokeness” he and other Fandom Menacers complain about in modern media has always been present in comics and is a large part of what makes comics interesting and enjoyable. Stripping that out just creates something lesser.

It's extremely hard to be generous towards Isom. Even Eric's friends are uncomfortable talking about it. You know how Superman is about an immigrant saving people, inspiring hope and being an ideal for American values?

Avery/Isom is about a black dude who gets DISSED on the street and goes beating random people up, fighting club goers and threatening prostitutes while his comic presents him as a good guy, instead of a violent out of control gigahomie that's obviously supposed to be a bizarre power fantasy for Eric July. Seriously.

      >The “wokeness” he and other Fandom Menacers complain about in modern media has always been present in comics and is a large part of what makes comics interesting and enjoyable.
So true. Transgender superheroes have always been around in the DC universe, and Iceman and Alan Scott where always written as flamboyant homosexuals.

        >He thinks you need trans to be woke for the right
Black Panther and Luke Cage would be considered woke if they came out today.

Well if they complained about that, that would be stupid. If they complain about the Alan Scott miniseries going on right now, or X-Men Green or bullshit like that, they're 100% right.

I've watched his videos and he does the typical Alex Jone/Cucker Carlson thing of getting ANGRY and saying things FORCEFULLY but not actually saying anything of actual substance beyond questioning people's intelligence.

And don't forget he included, what, 16 pages of adverts in a 90-something page comic to boost the page count, including an advert for his wife's fricking cosmetics company. That's fricking shameless.

isom has nothing going for it so far. OP's comic? By Chuck Dixon? and Joe Bennet? A different story. The only cue I had that it was some culture wars shit was the seething of leftypol and the anal frick copypasta.

It's still mid level image capeshit, and hasn't done anything groundbreaking so, if you want to skip it for that reason, it wouldn't be shocking.

I like Chuck Dixon and Joe Bennet so I bought it. It was fine, nothing special. Chuck did the best he could in Eric's sandbox, but that's not a lot. Bennet was really phoning it in, though that might be more on the revolving door of inkers and colorists than himself. Chuck's next book there is gonna be original characters so it'll undoubtedly be better, though not guaranteed to really be good either, since it's still in Eric's universe.

Didn't Eric try to scam people by making the text of the price one of his backer tiers the same color as the background so you can't see shit unless you highlighted it?

      Anonymous

That was just some coder error. It didn't happen on mobile, only on PC. The REAL scam was that he was charging 100$ a month for like a 15% discount or something insane like that in his tier.

Notice how we're still not talking about the comic? Just cult of personality eceleb bullshit?
    That's why discussions get banned.
Cinemaphile allows it because Cinemaphile allows tons of off topic ragebait trash. That's not a mark in the board's favor.

It's the same in every Rippa space.

Then when people talk about how the comic suck they are jealous racist haters that are angry at a black man's successful comic book etc

No rippacuck, they talk about how the comic sucks.
They talk about how Eric had released 3 graphic novels without even telling us its main characters powers.
They notice how Avery's backstory is he got sad at a comicCon because a random girl died, retired for years and got over it because he got a random pep talk.
They say it sucks because the plot setup was saving some random chick no one cares about, was immediately forgotten and an issue later Isom is fighting gorilla monsters well we're barely introduced to this setting outside "It's Texas if Eric had his own CWCville libertarian dream city."
No one is jealous of Eric's success because there is none. Outside ripping off a bunch of comicgate tards the comics have no substance and fanbase is just parroting incels. All while Eric insists this is the future of comics and going to "Put the big 2 on notice."

          >create a thread solely to attack a comic writer

Why are you so obsessed with him? Literally just don't read the comics. It's not even like Marvel or DC ruining something you used to love. These are new characters who don't exist for you unless you seek them out.

    >Self proclaimed "Comic book" fan who wishes to go back to basics and make them "good" again
    >Has barely squeaked out 60 pages of mediocre material and most of the splash is because he is very vocal about his political views
    >meanwhile this greasy frick has made not one but TWO comic series each with incredible art and has released at least 10 times more pages in the same amount of time

Eric is the classic case of the loudmouth that has no talent but enough opinions to make people believe the lie, but the proof is in the pudding and he is absolutely incapable of taking the series anywhere.

Meanwhile Charlie is just goofing off and has enough money to make passion projects he enjoys and cares more about the final product being what he wants rather than "THE MESSAGE" of being ANTI ESTABLISHMENT WOO FRICK SJWS BLAH BLAH
