I really don't see why you wouldn't just make it live action. Seems like a strange amount of time to put into a project to just make it look like real life.

It has tons of issues. Just pause on any frame and you will see multiple clipping and rendering issues. It is just hidden with shaky camera, quick cuts, and an unfocused picture.
Unironically this has the worst animation of anything that was released this season.

i don't understand this anti-mocap stance. it's just a means to an end with animation. most of the time it requires a lot of manual clean up and tweak to make it usable. it doesn't negate the other technically impressive parts either
