Am I the only one who doesn't even find The Room to be so bad it's entertaining? I just find it boring

Yeah, there are worse movies out there
I understand if you're under the age of 18. Brains are difficult to train to pay attention.
This. Kids aren't patrician enough to enjoy everything on this list, they're too immature.
There's a lot of garbage here. For starters I'd remove all the Adam Sandler films, All the super hero stuff except the Dark Knight Rises which is OK, the hobbit, Pluto Nash, Dr dolittle, Jobs, Frozen, Django unchained, The mummy(lol), all Eddie Murphy films.
Presumably this is a joke list right?
This movie was pretty blackpilled
a painfully honest treatise on the perfidious nature of the modern woman
It has a bizzare structure where the beginning and ending are the only thing that matters with filler adventures in the middle. There's always some nonsense melodrama happening like little episodes - maybe it's more of a failed tv series or maybe he can't just keep his mind straight on one thing? Plus it's genuinely very stupid and melodramatic, with it clearly being his NPD re-writing real world events from his life to be some kind of perfect hero.
Le troon moment
In college I was the only one out of my friend group who never saw it despite everyone joking around about how hilariously awful it was. Someone suggested we have a movie night to watch The Room and it was met with such a lukewarm response, that pretty much told me all I needed to know. It's not even so bad it's funny, it's just bad.
If you watched it alone in your house, totally understandable... but that's now how The Room should be watched.
I watched the room in my room
Woah
Yes it sucks very bad. A friend said "we'll get real stoned and watch it" but not even that can help. It's not always bad in a way that's amusing. Most of it is just garbage
oh hai doggy
Out of all the things Room related, The Disaster Artist audiobook read by Gregg was the best.
Leave your STUPID comments in your pocket
It’s not funny even in a bad way, and visually there is nothing there. I don’t understand why it’s memed
I still can't believe this movie is the only thing we got out of this and it was just Franco and his friends shitting on its legacy the whole time
It was kino. I miss Franco.
YOU’RE TEARING ME APART LISA!
There's like five minutes total that's funny. Everything else is just painfully boring and cringe. Those endless sexscenes at the beginning. Dear god. The Disaster Artist is kino, though.
You'll probably enjoy it more if you get stoned with friends, but then it's more about the company than the movie.
Hi doggy
A lot of "so bad it's good" movies you kind of need to be sitting around with friends being a normalgay not sitting by yourself looking at your computer monitor
>it's fun with friends
it's boring as shit, yes. batman & robin is actually entertainingly bad.
I wouldnt even all Batman & Robin bad tbh
its basically as faithful to the TV series as it could be
B&R is silly, but not bad. A perfectly decent movie.
franco ruined room posting. room posting on Cinemaphile was peak Cinemaphile
>their friends come over when no one's home to frick in their house and leave their underwear where her mom finds it
Made it 40 minutes into the room and lost interest
it's bad but not remarkably so, it just got memed by a bunch of israelites and stuck
You have to watch it with other people, you lonely incel.
The Disaster Artist is a really entertaining book though.
I watched the rifftrax version like 10 years ago and the only scene I remember is "Oh hai Danny" and getting a little turned on with his girlfriend
It's ONLY funny when you go to a midnight showing and you can yell things and throw plastic spoons at the screen.
I like to think that Tommy Wiseau is like the opposite of Arnie where they both had this dream of glory in America, they both have charisma and determination but Arnie succeeds in everything he does while Tommy fails at everything, it’s like an artistic depiction of the greatness and the shadow of the American dream
Tommy Wiseau was somewhat successful. He was pretty rich enough to fund the Rooms 6 million dollar budget himself and he had that really dodgy sounding denim business
Every "so bad its good" film literally only has a few scenes that unintentionally enjoyable and then everything else is shit and not worth your time.
>hello doggy
>i definitely have cancer
ok thats just two enjoyable scenes are there are literally hundreds more
