Looks like a rejected 3DO game cover
it's a fetish show for women
Spbp. Also,
>but what if the real horror story was that America wasn’t trans-inclusive enough?
the show
Opinions on AHS are highly divisive. Some people love it and some hate it. The showrunner, Ryan Murphy, seems to have some issues with resolving his stories. They tend to get way over the top and weird in the back half.
You should learn a little bit about each season to see which ones interest you. My personal favorites are Freak Show, Cult, and 1984.
Asylum is a pretty good season, it entertained me. Apocalypse did too, but that's because it was built on like 8 seasons, all of which I didn't really enjoy watching. But I watched them with my then girlfriend, now wife so I'm still obligated to watch when she switches it on.
Each series had the same people in it so you're never free of the ugly walled women getting screen time. That aside it's decent enough IF you're interested in the horror trope of the season.
What about alien side? I love ayy lmao stuff
As far as I remember only season 2 and 10 deal with aliens, but 2 is the best one so it’s all downhill from there, so you’re better off at least watching 1 before 2
Naw, it's never aliens.
the first season is worth watching, you may like the second season despite the drop in quality, everything else is utter shit.
S1 worth the watch
S2 most people liked but I could never finish
S3 they wanted a teen tumblr fanbase so it was catered to them. Kinda entertaining still and has Prime Emma Roberts
S4 first couple ep were good bc of a certain character but it went to shit after they’re killed off
Jessica Lange left after that so I stopped watching
Emma is in some of them.
The latest season is about her getting pregnant.
You'd better not be memeing me right now.
It's based on the novel Delicate Condition. It's all about pregnancy. So far only half of the season has aired, but last I heard shooting for the second half had wrapped. So the rest should air this year.
And yes it's seriously all about pregnancy. The first half was a slow burn but the second half should have a lot of body horror.
Spiders get her pregnant
>Spiders
Not ideal but I can work with it.
are there any spiders in it or are they just teasing?
As I recall there is only one scene with a spider so far.
If your going to waste time watching a season long anthology just watch channel zero.
You women don't need to watch silly pregnancy content, I'll get you pregnant! You'll never be bored looking for trash to watch again. I'll just do it over and over every time you feel like watching shit like that. Come on honey I'm here for you. 😉
The first season was the only one i ever liked, but in hindsight it wasnt that great and the best parts are often rare short flashbacks.
Even then, the quality dips from there.
People always talk up season 2 but it is blatantly one of the most all over the place seasons of the series, with a bunch of ridiculous plots revolving around an asylum. the first season was at the very least centered on a single supernatural house. i dont really remember much scary things from season 2, just whacky.
From then on the seasons seem to get progressively worse. coven in particular is probably my least favorites.
I like it, it is consistently over the top and you must be ok with that fact, however every single final episode is an absolute shitshow. If you understand Ryan Murphy is a very gay man that likes to poke fun at women a lot and enjoys camp, it is a fun time.
S1 and S2 are good because at least they can be genuinely scary at times. Coven is gabarge made for teenage girls with power fantasy, all the characters are unlikeable and the only time i enjoyed it was in the last episode where all the girls killed each other. Freak Show was okay, the clown and the massacre in the final episode were all kino.
Delicate Part 2 will air in May
As A big AHS I will admit some seasons are unwatchable to a the average viewer. Watch season 1,2,3,4,6,9. and ONLY the first half of season ten, stop when alien half comes on. IF you love those and want more I recommend watching the rest but The ones I mentions are pure horror/drama KINO. Asylum, season 2 is still one of the best seasons of TV I ever seen. Season 6 is actually scary and has good gore the others seasons I will say can be disturbing and have cruel twists.
I find it curious that an AHS fan would omit Hotel from a recommended viewing list.
Hotel has it moments but the rampart sex scenes because lady gaga demanded it apprently and the focus on trans stuff rubs me the wrong way. So I can't recomment it in good conscieness
Highlighting trans people tends to rub me the wrong way too, but Denis O'Hare honestly stole the season as Liz Taylor. He's the most underrated AHS regular imo. I wonder what you thought about NYC. It was so bad it was the only season I couldn't finish watching.
I didn't even check it out man. I have no want to watch a season about gay people. The last good season to me is 9. Damn shame season 10 has such a great start but then the literal worse story in all of AHS with the alien shit. I could or rewrote that alien story to be good too but no they shit the bed.
NYC did not even feel like AHS. I checked it out simply because I've watched the rest of the series, but even aside from the sodomy it had nothing to redeem it. I know a lot of people hated the second part of Double Feature, but I thought it was peak camp. It seemed like something they were just having fun with. The gay dudes pregnant with alien babies was uncomfortable, but the whole plot of ayys taking over the government was kino.
fwiw I think Delicate is shaping up as a return to form.
Anyone watched Monsterland? I made it through the first two episodes and I tapped out. Does it get better?
just post the latex webms already
Not from the show, but i love tex
