Amuro already gets over his PTSD and tries to return to space with Kamille in episode 20 or whatever of Zeta; he just has to give up because the shuttle they're planning to use is destroyed and only one suit will fit on the flyer that Four secures, which Amuro knows has to be for Kamille. It's not enough for Amuro to get over his PTSD and want to return to space, which are already canon anyway, but he needs an actual method of doing so too. Which was the problem.
Zeta is now basically Seed Destiny. Amuro being the invincible Space Jesus that will save the universe. Kamille becomes a whiny b***h jealous of him

I'd think she burned that bridge with her treatment of him in 0079, though even if she didn't she probably would refuse to live there because it was paid for by the war technically.
He does have another source of income with the toy Haro sales.
I think they may have made some some kind of attempts to reconcile with each other simply because their mother and son and the wars over, but with just their last interaction in 0079 you have to do a lot fanfic writing to get them back to point where they'd have a good relationship.
She appeared recently in Mobile Suit Gundam Pulitzer which is about Kikka going around interviewing people about Amuro two years after Axis Shock to write a book that accurately describes the Amuro she knew instead of the idealized hero the Federation pushes him as. Amuro never saw her again after the war, he only wrote a letter to her wishing her well and never contacted her again. She continues to work in humanitarian aid most recently for the refugees of Char's colony drop attacks. She regrets the way she treated Amuro when she met him again during the OYW and thinks that maybe if she had embraced him as a mother should he might not have stayed in the military and would still be alive.
