It didn't do all that well in Japan and the US release kinda fizzled out. So, no financial reason to do one. Plus, it ended on a more or less concrete note.
I really do wish we got more of it. It showing up in SRW was a hell of a surprise, Komatsu even voiced a commercial for it as Joey.
>animation is super smooth >really cute character designs >good music and a catchy opening >first arc especially is really intense, but the show overall is a fun ride >somehow not a success in Japan >American release fell-through for some reason
I always wanted this show to have done better than it did. Rewatching it now and it's just as fun as it was when it aired.

>concrete note
It ended like a comic books arc, with a set up for new status quo (Joey and Heroman being publicly known, one of main villains being now a criminal on the run, resident anti hero being MIA...), and there is always a possibility of a new alien race.
True. But, the Skrugg stuff was very definitively wrapped up. If the lead writer or director had some stellar idea for how to keep things going, that'd be one thing. And I'd be all for seeing some more. But, the way the show ended as is was more than fine.
Right. But even that was probably more by design. The whole thing was a send up of comics. So it's less dangling plot threads and more intentional nod to the medium. The day is saved and the hero goes off to fight new evil.
This has been a Heroman thread. We now return you to your broadcast day.

Why must you make me sad?
Heroman, now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time..
One of the best Bones series with so much charm.
>Murica in the Jap perspective
It was surprisingly good for what it is
Gotta envy jap optimism
Cool 2nd ED.
>they never got Stan to voice himself in a dub
Feels bad man.
At least he did it in The Reflection.
I forgot about that one
Excelsior for a real life superhero.

How come it never got a S2?
Why would it?

According to my ass, too american for japan and too japanese for america. Very little marketing too from what I remember back in 2010.
I miss him
Kind of wish data on the various monsters wouldn't be hard to come by.
shut up
No, I'm going to point it out.
I never finished it back in the day, but I loved what I saw.
Also the music video is great
Stealth Armor Heroman looked pretty based.
