Mizu is everything Nimona as a character fails at. Someone who is transcendentally bitter at the world but manages to show improvement by her own conscious choices instead of the insistence of the writers
Thats why I didn’t say they were alike, just that Mizu presents a character isolated and angry at society but is written to have a more likable and engaging personality
wow sounds like youre the main character, too bad your personality is as deep as the toilet i shat in this morning
Don’t lie, you shit your pants didn’t you
GO TO THE BATHROOM
Not you so why do you give a shit? Are you such a meritless loser you need to live vicariously through the success of people that don't know you exist?
Cut it off 3 episodes in. Boiler plate plot, main character is OP and 1 dimensional with a tacked on "I'm more than just a princess" side story no one cares about.
Seriously the amount of abuse she takes is kind of funny. It's like bro you should've been dead 4 episodes ago but hate, spite and vegana juice keep her going.
>The show looks comfy
It is, i had watched it on next day of release, when spanish anon has leaked it with jap and eng audio and eng subtitles. It is slightly less than i had hoped for, but way, way better than i was afraid it would be.
It is also kinda short, 15+10+10+10 minutes in 4 episodes.
Protag is a Mary Sue who beats everyone up with ease because she trained real hard in her muh tragic backstory (Even though she had no mentor and realistically should've been worse than those dojo guys, but she's a woman so she gets to not put any effort).
I assumed the puppet show for the Shogun showing Mizu becoming an Onryo was the creators hinting that her skills/survivability makes her more than a human in a vague undefined way
Just watched it. Liked it, but I hoped they would’ve done something more with Taigen. Has a lot of good showings early on, completely disappears in the middle, comes back in the final episodes, where he still didn’t get as much screen time as I hoped. Also it pissed me off how they didn’t show him at the end whereas every other major character got some kind of cliffhanger.
Seems to me that the show is set up to follow 2-3 storylines with Mizu, Akemi and Taigen as POV characters.
Though Taigen seems to be more of the type to pop in and out of the narratives of the other two.
I don't know. Nimona, probably.

Nimona and Mizu are hardly alike. Mizu wants revenge and Nimona wants mayhem.

She gets fricked up in episode 2 and for the rest of the series, the frick you on about?
Most of the people complaining about it haven't actually watched it.

To Pokemon Concierge, that has been released on December 28, 2023.
>Pokémon shit
Pass
>but it’s so wholeso-
Don’t care, it’s boring and Pokémon shit
>Pokemon Concierge
Thanks for reminding me this came out. I've been meaning to watch it. The show looks comfy

Either ATSV (probably) or Mutant Mayhem.
Across the Spiderverse or The Boy and the Heron might actually have a chance since they just won the Golden Globe.
Scavenger's Reign
Scavenger's Rein was fricking awesome, but I'm not sure it will actually win any awards. It should, but it probably won't.

>Taigen's bald spot features in a BES shitpost
>My sides go into orbit
Every time
The baldspot is ever present.
I wonder if he'll be mistaken for some kind of monk in England.
Taigen probably snuck onto Mizu's boat
WOAH IT'S A SAMURAI... BUT HE WEARS GLASSES???!!!
Wow it's like you're literally one of the show's background characters
wow sounds like youre the main character, too bad your personality is as deep as the toilet i shat in this morning
There were no good new cartoons in 2023.
Either Blue Eye Samurai or Scavengers Reign.
Pantheon
Is it really good? and not some dogshit like Castlevania?
I want to add it to my recommended Cinemaphile list
and what happened to that show about the daughter communicating with her dead cyber dad?
I like it, but make your own opinion
gonna be mad if Scavengers Reign isn't it
