Everyone was viewing the movie from an irony-drenched viewpoint. >"You know, I'm something of a scientist myself."
The entire theatre busted a gut at that line. It's not even meant to be funny. But because of reddit...
There was also some redditor sitting behind me who would loudly imply sex jokes for almost every line in the movie.
Let us also not forget people busted a gut when Willem Dafoe breaks the vial before getting in the gas chamber. The projector broke right as he leap out of the gas chamber and says "BACK TO FORMULA" (people laughed at this too). Then when the movie got restarted we watched the scene again and the laughs were even bigger for both moments the second time around. Those were serious dramatic moments. They weren't comedic. But these irony-drenched zoomers who weren't even born when the movie came out were treating it all as a meme, like it's a "so bad it's good" movie. It was awful. I'm dreading sitting through Spider-Man 2 and 3 with this same crowd.
>The entire theatre busted a gut at that line. It's not even meant to be funny. But because of reddit...
that meme started on Cinemaphile you underage moron >says "BACK TO FORMULA" (people laughed at this too
also started on Cinemaphile
Newflash kiddo, if Reddit adopts or co-opts the meme, the it was a Reddit meme to begin with. Cinemaphile memes are the ones Reddit refuses or the ones they don't understand. Hate to break it ya, kid, but you're not Cinemaphile at all, since you're out here defending Reddit memes.
>why i have to endure standing next to redditors.....whatching capeshit????? wtf???
you are a dense motherfricker, the movie was always shit, thus atracts redditors, like any marvel movie
zoomers can't handle any form of sincerity, they've been groomed by marvel quips and have no idea how to respond to something being earnest within a goofy context.
That's about how much the Dune Part One rerelease made over its two week run before Dune Part Two released. Spider-Man did that in a day. Expect similar figures next Monday for Spider-Man 2.
They're not interested in making money anymore, that's not the primary objective. It's only a secondary priority because they need money. The MAIN priority is pushing their narrative, if cost needs to be sacrificed for this goal so be it. Just look at how much money Disney has thrown away this past decade. It's worth it to them.
>theater's yesterday
i don't get it. what did the theater have yesterday?
oh wait.
a typo?
sorry, opinion discarded. i can't process information coming from nitwits and knobs
God I can't imagine how insufferable that audience must have been, just imagine them all giggling and shouting le memes at the screen and to each other, makes my skin crawl
Worst part is that most of them are zoomers who didn't even see it originally in theaters when it came out, I guarantee it
Just want to let you know you weren't there to experience it at the time it came out, never forget that
Did they put up a warning beforehand that there's an evil amount of white people in the movie and no Zendaya complaining about them and making sure they know they're racist? I heard zoomers need that for pre-2015 media or they start freaking out.
The projector in my theatre broke and we were forced to watch the dvd played through a digital projector.
Also, the crowd was extremely reddit.
>normal people are reddit
This place has rotted your brain.
WERE YOU FRICKING THERE?
Lol, I saw you in the front row browsing Cinemaphile on your phone when the projector was down. You were wearing a hat.

Yeah? And? Democrats were pro-slave and pro-segregation once.

There are literally people baneposting on reddit right now
Thanks for proving my point. Baneposting was always reddit. I'm sorry that hurts your "fee-fees".

I'm assuming a Cinemaphile screening of The Dark Knight Rises would have everyone walking out of the room after the first five minutes.
>"For you"
>Popcorn and soda rains down from the sky
>Thunderous foot stomping
>Chimp noises and hyena laughter for the next 2 hours straight
Kino...
People would stick around for the "Friday night...why are you here?" moment.
zoomers can't handle any form of sincerity, they've been groomed by marvel quips and have no idea how to respond to something being earnest within a goofy context.
Gonna cry?
>Those were serious dramatic moments
kek no those movies were always made to be extra campy. It's kind of Raimis whole thing
Thanks for proving my point, you irony-drenched moron zoomer.
moron
Is it a normal kinoplex? Kind of strange they have a DVD player and projector ready to go since that wouldn't work for new releases.
I'M GONNA STAND HERE AND WAIT
Savin Me is one of the greatest songs ever.
Is that a good amount of money anons?
That's about how much the Dune Part One rerelease made over its two week run before Dune Part Two released. Spider-Man did that in a day. Expect similar figures next Monday for Spider-Man 2.
I’m actually gonna be seeing that with my brother
AND THEY’RE WATCHING US
Why did every one of these bands look exactly like this?
It was just a popular look around the late 90s early 00s. I rocked it.
Why won't they give us Spiderman 4 with Tobey? Why no Batman Beyond with Keaton?
It's free money at this point

God I can't imagine how insufferable that audience must have been, just imagine them all giggling and shouting le memes at the screen and to each other, makes my skin crawl

The Dashboard song is amazing as well IMO
Spider-man inspires some great music somehow
>t. sentimental boomer
I love how Spider-Man 3 looks
I'm dreading seeing it on April 29th. The zoomers are going to be at their most insufferable for this one.
Isn't the only memeable part the evil Peter dance? I think they'll stay mostly silent during the rest.
It's all of Evil Peter's scenes with a bit of Franco's.
I’m seeing it tomorrow night.
AND THEY SAY THAT THE FUHRER WILL SAVE US
I'M NOT GONNA STAND HERE AND WAIT
Did they put up a warning beforehand that there's an evil amount of white people in the movie and no Zendaya complaining about them and making sure they know they're racist? I heard zoomers need that for pre-2015 media or they start freaking out.
>no Zendaya
Wasn’t this song originally written to be about Jesus?
>theatre's

>Green Goblin knocks Spidey out with sleeping gas
