in the last episode zag wanted a setting with more depth aka something more realistic
he was able to decrypt francises vision that way (the newspaper he read at the end)
jonah somehow got an idea and probably plans some crazy shit on his own considering he doesnt like zag and doesnt want to work with him (no idea what jonah could be planning)
that was what i got out of it atleast
iam sure the random quotes also mean something but no idea where theire from
hold up, this silly angel show turned into a detective show all of a sudden? I'm gonna have to actually watch it instead of shitposting in this thread.
they were never actually angels and are either dead humans who got turned into cartoon characters or cartoon characters that were given free will
angel zag isnt actually an angel the detective show is where he originaly came from (thats why he knew about it beforehand and it explains his demeanor)
also wreath of life (same company that produced and released angel hare) also made the detective show
Last episode pretty much put those doubts to rest. Gabby is an actual Seraph masquerading as a cute cartoon hare - Francis even outright calls her an angel in this episode no less.
What's clearly going on is that they take forms that fit with the worlds they enter. For Angel Hare, it's angelic rabbits and for the detective show, it's humans since talking animals clearly aren't a thing there. If they went into say, horse show, then they'd probably appear as talking horses instead.
Zaggy also outright calls Gabby "so traditional" for using the classical Seraphim appearance for her message, which wouldn't make sense if they were human spirits. They're obviously meant to be angels and this is them assuming a different form because taking a non-human appearance in a show with only humans in it would be immersion breaking.
Zag asked Francis to move him over to a more complex setting, which is the detective show they're in - since it would be easier to decrypt Gabby's message.
Summary: >Zaggy asks Jonah to sneak into a church to steal an old detective noir cartoon. >Jonah puts it on an old reel to reel and records it with a webcam. >Francis gives apparently what was is drawing from last episode except now it's a newspaper about a singer getting a prestigious gig. >Zag says that in this cartoon clues to solve mysteries are laid out. >Jonah, still slightly creepy, has an idea in how to find her.
I think the implications is that Zag used to be in this cartoon and went to this cartoon because its mystery oriented and not aimed at child appropriate messaging so whatever francis wrote is more eacily interpreted by Zag, who is used to the setting. We also get to see his co-star, the secretary. So it seems the take away is that whatever these Angel's do its interpreted through the media that's being shown.
Very weird direction this has taken, too early to tell if it's good or bad though an old detective film would make sense in a setting where we find to have to find Gabby. Those who were in just for the rabbits don't like this I bet
Here are the big image things i found from this episode, we get two this time!
However I'm unsure how these fit into the larger image. I think it's no longer the same image, like as Francis's form had changed from Angel Hare to Wylde Hare so to must've the para-image, which kinda sucks but a curveball is a curveball
I'm gonna see if i can fit them in anyway.
Damn there was a third one? My eyes have betrayed me!
Hmmm, could be. Not applicable for the current angel hare para image we've been assembling as I'm seeing. I'm going to try and place *only* these images in relation to eachother.
I want to say the 3rd overlay kind of looks like Gabby's foot, though it doesn't exactly match the reference image we've been using. Maybe if the image changed, this is in reference to Gabby's human form? Though this does seem to prove that these overlays are connected to Jonah specifically in some way, as they've continued even with a completely different cartoon. I want to say they're Gabby possibly sending a message? But what it would be I have no idea. As we guessed the last overlays created an image of her.
>Maybe if the image changed, this is in reference to Gabby's human form?
I believe you are correct, this is my best attempt at a guess.
It's really interesting that it would change with the setting, it seems to further the theory that she's actually there in some way.
Took me a moment to realize what it was that I was looking at, but this is damn well done. Maybe the angel hare ones were meant to train us to compare the fragments to Gabby's image so we'd both make the connection, and know how to put them together after the change-over so we'd have an idea of what Gabby might look like as a human?

NO! No more demons! No more unholy things. I grabbed to this show because it was about angels and was a nice spin, on the ARG formula by having something supernatual actually want to help humanity.
Maybe it is the third person in the stain glass since the first one is zag and the last one is gabby

I think one good path this show could take is if we're gonna learn about the third angel, who could also possibly be Jonah's dad guardian angel. Maybe the way he lived and died caused that angel to fall into despair (they do look the saddest out of the three in that image) and Gabby went missing in order to find them and help them out. This is where you could also introduce demons who seek to pull other beings into the same pit
don't care, if you want to simulate a style of a certain time, put the damn effort. this only makes it look like he's trying way too hard when it wasn't needed
Man, Zag just straight up had Jonah burgle a church all so he could LARP as a detective for five minutes.
Yes, Jonah might've been in there legally considering he had a key, but why was he wearing gloves and peeking out the window so suspiciously?
I would be suspicious too if a talking cartoon rabbit I didn't like gave me fricking coordinates to a church who knows where and asked me to find something
Jonah is such a tryhard. He even did the "peaking through the blinds" thing... in broad daylight. Gotta admit bros, I'd rather follow Zag around than Jonah.
Jonah's got a lot of issues, man. If anything spooky comes out of this series, it's 100% going to be with him, not with angels vomiting blood or VCR tapes sprouting fingers.
Him panting with rage at the start of season 2 and all the weirdo breathing at the end of season 1, the guy's got this nasty obsession with Gabby.
I wonder what his reaction would be if he meets her in a non-hare cartoon, if he'd still go bananas seeing Gabby looking like a 20s dame. >turns out Jonah's a big HMoFA fan >sees Gabby in a human form >runs away, shouting something about missing his bnuuy waifu for laifu
Still wouldn't be that surprised if he eventually commits seppuku to join Gabby, or does something to get himself put into the show as a character or something, endlessly streaming new episodes on loop until the computer crashes and he's trapped forever.
Yeah it's pretty hard to abuse an angel lmao.
I mean God nuked two cities for being improper hosts to angel visitors, and angels have been given authority to kill humans in the past.

The only abuse I could see being possible is emotional abuse. Something like Jonah threatening to kill himself any time Gabby wants to leave.
they were never actually angels and are either dead humans who got turned into cartoon characters or cartoon characters that were given free will

I don't mind the story switching gears but this theory would be a dealbreaker for me, hopefully it goes somewhere more interesting and less cliche than this.
>hopefully it goes somewhere more interesting and less cliche than this.
I am pretty sure that Francis calling on an angel and Gabby's voice blasting him plus Zag understanding her image are tip-offs they are not human. Oh and
Well shit, if Gabby and co. aren't angels (Francis not included) then she gets around a hell of a lot for a run of the mill human spirit.
. Plus there would be no reason to hide their nature if they were just ghosts.
Huh. I had assumed that Zag would still look like a hare when he went into a different show. Wasn’t expecting him to end up human. Or at least looking like one.
This episode seems to confirm that Zag (and presumably other angels) just flawlessly fit in with whatever world they enter, to the point the original characters don't question it. Even Francis is treated as though he was always a present element from the start.
Might not work in settings that ALREADY have elements similar to what he is, but it's something to keep in mind.
Jonah says he knows how to find Gabby with this new clue, any guesses on how he plans to do so? As personally I’ve got no clue. Second, since Zag seems intimately connected with “Wylde Hare.” I’m guessing the show was made for him to serve a role like Gabby. Though that makes me wonder what kind of advice he could provide with this kind of show, as it feels like the character going off-script would be more obvious.
Gabby was obviously meant to help young children, so Zag might be intended to help older boys and teenagers. There's plenty of advice they need and its going to be very different from the kind young children need. Plus a teenager is going to brush off whatever some stupid cartoon rabbit says, but if a badass detective says it they might listen.
Probably Mr. A hardcore morality lessons. >You're either good or evil. Doing good for evil intentions or doing evil thinking you have good intentions still makes you evil. >Not being evil yourself but helping people do bad things is just as bad as being evil. >Mercy comes at the price of justice. If you show mercy you are denying justice
This makes me wanna see an interaction between "Zag Wylde" and one of his viewers. I'm imagining him taking his show way further off the rails than Gabby ever did for hers. Just imagine what kind of shit a person must be going through to need his help.
>So Jimmy, you're telling me Susie came to school with a black eye? On your next play date take her to church and tell the specifically you are asking for "amnesty." >The use their phone and call the cops. Tell them her dad is half black and has reefer with his boyfriend. That'll get them running. >When Polaski shoos you out of the restaurant for his poker game tell him you're calling your mom, but really call the number on the screen and leave the phone off the receiver. >Did woo fall asleep after hitting that hookah pipe? Good. Get Sisu's kitchen knife and look at his foot. See that dimple above the heel? Just cut that through. Stop crying, just close your eyes and hum to yourself while you do it. Good, now leave the knife. He'll think the Tong did it and heat up their cold war. Go Jimmy, get on the first bus you see and ride it out of town. Run!

Honestly, this Angel Hare series is just okay. I wish it was at least 9-11 minutes long but I don't exactly want the creator(s) to get burnout while making the series.
I'm starting to wonder if they really have a plan because "the search for Gabby" feels like a filler arc.
There's unresolved shit about Jonah's past and the production company. I'd rather explore those things instead.
I don't entirely disagree, but I do think there's a chance that one of the mysteries from Season 1 might get solved.
See, Gabby has mysteriously disappeared *twice* so far.
The second time is what triggered the whole plot of this season.
But the *first* time was when Jonah was a kid.
Who knows, maybe those things will end up being related.
I'm not convinced that they aren't angels. Zag is named after an angel and espouses various virtues along with quoting scripture. And he didn't care about staying on script for the show, so it seemed like those were the virtues that he really believes in. That all seems more like he's really the angel Zagzagel and not a cartoon detective who somehow moved to a different show or just a human spirit.
I think they're both angels who are able to inhabit different cartoons, but Zag had only inhabited the detective one before. Francis was an actual badger who was uplifted through heavenly power, so he's able to do the same.
I mean, it's pretty obvious that Zag wasn't originally from the show. He outright shows up peeking down from mthe clouds like he just popped up with no warning and is getting a view of the layout.
What's worse is that if Wylde Hare isn't the last of the properties that they are able to go into
We might not get to see rabbit Gabby and Zag unless there is a reason to go back to Angel Hare
Judging from Jobah's hatred of this new show and him being in control of the broadcasts, I think he's going to force them back into the other show regardless of what Zag wants.
Petty?
Yes.
But so far, he hasn't done frick all to actually hamper the manhunt for his waifu.
He's only been thinking >Zag's a guy and Gabby isn't. I hate him. >This rabbit hasn't spent five hours stroking my ego while holding my hand and is instead acting mildly abrasive. Which must mean he stole my wife. >This show has guns, drugs, and no talking animals! Angel Hare isn't this uncomfy. This sucks. >Why is he black?
No, Jonah is a man of autistic single-minded devotion and will.
He's already waltzed into a church and rifled through their belongings in the belief that it'd help Zag find Gabby. Frick, he'd probably move onto burgling warehouses and offices if Zag told him there was a cartoon in one of them that Gabby might be in.
Well, even if Jonah wasn't the one to ice his father, Gabby was still grooming him to not be such a WIMP.
So, even if he doesn't have the skill to do it, I truly believe that Jonah has the balls to take another man's life to save his waifu.
The Bible probably has some edge cases where that's allowed for civilians.

The Bible's fine with killing, provided you have a good reason. What it does have a problem with is angel on human relationships.
i think the plan must be something else
what does jonah gain from bringing zag and francis back to angel hare? he helped zag to find gabby in the first place and he doesnt care about shows that much he just wants to see gabby again
So, do you guys think Francine and Francis previously knew each other? After Zag introduces him, she claims to remember him. Though that could've just been Zag telling her to play along.
Maybe each of the angels have a show they call their own, with the deuteragonist/sidekick being named some variation of Francis.
Hopefully the piebald one doesn't end up only showing up in season 3. If we actually get one.
All cartoons produced by this production company much share a universe somehow. Otherwise I don't see how Gabby could be there, flashing before our eyes, when she was doing the same thing in Angel Hare.
These cartoons might all be windows into the same thing: a "deeper" place. Holier?
Although.. here's something I noticed.
The Angel Hare company is called Wreath of Life.
But Wylde Hare was made by "WoF Pictures".
"Life" does not begin with "F".
So what does the F stand for?..
Ngl the newest episodes are kinda interesting but boring. The weeky upload schedule is fine for retention but with each episode so short there's barely enough time to do really big or interesting reveals.
Also, they don't look like cute animals anymore and shot my interest in half. I can't even post about fricking Zaggy anymore because he's a disgusting humie now.
Not only that, but the guy's also either got a giant head, or he's shorter than Gabby.
The picture that was posted first is squashed. This is how it is in the episode and it looks more natural.
It's just a woman in a dress crossing her arms.
It's Zag's and hand on waist is a pretty default pose for group shots with women (or at least it used to be before the hover-handing epidemic). Doesn't necessarily mean anything.
I think the theory someone put up earlier where they need to make new episodes or something may come to pass. As the final line of this episode is "the show may change...but she's the same." referring to Gabby. I'm not sure how creating new episode or potentially a new Angel Hare series/fan series might summon Gabby back, but that theory seems most likely to come true imo.
>He could stream a live recording of himself and see what happens.
I feel that would either kill the human him, make him able to exist on both planes of existence or create a soma situation where there are now 2 Jonahs. All sound like they would cause problems later down the line but are interesting.
What's the significance of the radio drama going on in the background?
There's a female voice at the beginning and the whole thing feels vaguely deal with the Devilish but the newspaper we got doesn't imply that Gabby got bunnapped or anything.
It's more like she's got put on another show or got pushed into another role that's more intense than helping children in bad situations.
So... why? It can't just be for atmosphere, because they could've just slapped some other shit on that's more relavent to the whole noir detective thing.
I think Jonah is gonna self sabotage because of his childhood crush on angel gabby because she is his comfort person/show meanwhile zag's show probably reminds him of his father resulting in his reaction or his dad used to watch a show similar to that. That's just my theory on it though
Holy crap, you might be right on the money.
That could also explain why Jonah had such an averse reaction to Zaggy since the beginning, there might be something about the character that reminds Jonah of his dad.
As someone who has friends with daddy issues it feels evident that zag probably reminds jonah of his abusive dad hell him mentioning he doesn't get the hang of streaming is something I'd say about my boomer dad
Show me a single series that gets regular threads like this with a similar astronomically low viewcount, I'm waiting. This is just like that South Park ripoff shit that was spammed here a while ago in how artificial the threads are.
The fact that they last for a week and hit bump limit as well is very strange. I have nothing against the series itself but these threads are utterly bizarre and low quality.
Exactly. The worst part is that they consistently reach bump limit with very few posters, with some obviously being iToddlers trying to inflate the IP count. You don't really see this happening anywhere else on Cinemaphile, it is flagrantly astroturfing at this point.
Got the solid colors done tonight. Sorry for the slow work, got 10 hour work shift and sleep like 6 more for the next day. Should have this whole thing properly shaded by... Tuesday?.. Maybe wendsday...
I thought it was weird too. Though the last couple threads were mostly carried by fanart and Zaggy lust posting.
I wouldn't call these threads artificial, it's more like all discussions are contained in this one thread rather than 2 or 3 like Mandela Catalog or Monument Mythos has in their heyday. Would much rather prefer a /Trash/ thread maybe once or twice. If 4Cats could get starts over there and have a decent stay I'd imagine the drawgays over there could make some good OC with Angel Hare.

good request, I think this is the first time I drew zaggy
I did some, very basic digging as I started thinking about Francis. There is St. Francis of Assisi, who apparently receives a holy mark after an encounter with a seraph, which we’re guessing Gabby is. No major evil though as he is a Christian Saint, though his early life is kind of glossed over and he did fight in a few wars before suddenly becoming pious after a vision, not sure if it’s the one with the seraph/
>Zaggy shows up >Show instantly improves because no more Gabby coombait, instead chadchadel starts doing some big brain detective work and gets down to business >Jonah seething just like Gabby's coomerbase
Based show honestly.
I'm surprised so few fans recognized he is a hard boiled detective, or at least that's what he's used to. Cyberpunk 2077 got a rereleased and Chicken Police had a new demo so you choomers should know what noir characters sound like!
Around the mid 00s it was decided to make a character that epitomizes Cinemaphile. A new series about The Spirit had come out so it was decided to make him in vein of that character. There are more details but basically it's an epitome of Cinemaphile and The Spirit.
Coomers/weebs just love to unnecessarily use Japanese terms for all porn in general for some reason. People who just say hentai instead of porn or yuri instead of lesbian for example need their heads slapped and computer taken away for a bit
nobody in their right mind would use the word "porn" for "hentai"
everybody knows whats meant with hentai (erotic cartoons from japan)
thats why people differentiate it to begin with
Theesome just means sex between 3 parties, let it be male/female/female, male/male/female or whatever, there's not an english word for mother/daughter theesome sex so oyakodon it is, also weeb site.
Let's see: >Oyakodon with rabbit Gabby and her mom
vs >threesome with Gabby and her mom
Well would you look at that, it works in English too! If you have to specify who you're oyakodon'ing with it's the same goddamn thing.
You moronic dweeb.
>dweeb >he says arguing about proper terminology about having sexual intercourse with a cartoon angel rabbit and her mother at 6 in the morning
Welcome to the club
personally I found Jonah's little "this is NOT comfy!!" rant in this episode particularly pathetic, I wonder what kind of ending they're planning for the two with how they're recently emphasizing how childishly dependant Jonah is on Gabby
Jonah's obsession with Gabby leading to him making a deal with a demon, the absolute last thing Gabby would ever want him to do, would honestly be a really cool idea
That's a funny way to spell cringe. Tattoos are cringe in general, getting one just to show people you enjoy thing that you will likely forget in five years top is the most cringe it possibly can
you were never a real fan to begin with if you just forget about it in the future
so i have to agree with you
i would only have a tatoo of something i know beforehand i will always enjoy looking at
but all youre doing now atm is just assuming the guy who got the tatoo will forget about it in 5 years
you dont know that person and how much they cared thus your argument falls flat
my dad is in his 50s and he watches tik tok literally all day
sometimes he even shows me dumb memes on it
wish i was joking but i also find it kinda cute
The point is tattoos of media is a child's mentality, which is proven yet again by how you can't spell such a simple word. If you're going to get a tattoo get something meaningful and not the generic slop you shovel into your mouth to avoid the real world.
jonah's getting a bit too restless...
under normal circumstances people can get overbearing attachments to other people during traumatic childhoods
now you throw in a protective supernatural entity he didnt really stand a chance
See, that's the annoying thing, to me.
With the talk about how "all the clues are here" or whatever, the writers are making it *sound* like a fair play mystery.
But I have a sneaking suspicion that Jonah's idea is going to be something not at all obvious that clearly only works because the writers said it did.
to me it seems much more like Zag was about to actually find all the relevant clues, but Jonah interrupted with his own autistic definitely-won't-work idea because in his eyes Gabby is HIS angel and he has to be the one responsible for finding her
at the end of the ep he just presented his idea to zag and francis
maybe zag will agree with him?
Anonymous
>at the end of the ep he just presented his idea to Zag and Francis
yeah, I don't know where people are getting the idea that Jonah is about to frick shit up when he is telling them he has an idea. Plus the guy is not about to Isolate the only leads he has on Gabby and he knows that Zag is not limited to the tapes/streams.
Calling it now, this is where the show gets darker, Jonah tries to kill/hurt himself on the stream to try to lure Gabby out because he's a total weirdo, and both Zag and Francis stop him.
As much as I'd hate it and think it would be a mistake, the series still seems to be pretending it's supposed to be "analog horror", judging by the thumbnails for each episode, the little smile glitches on Gabby, Jonah's unhealthy obsession, and the second mail episode.
It's really only a matter of time until they slip and turn the show darker.
horror doesnt need to be all gore and realistic bloody eyes
it can also just be light horror which can be appropriate for kids/teens too

I don't know, I can't really tell if they want to keep the horror stuff around or not. Right now, what little horror there was is basically gone, minus the dead serious thumbnails, it either feels like they're starting to cater to the fans and lean more towards the mystery/surreal nature of things, or that they're doing the calm before the storm and have Gabby show up as a seraphim and blind Jonah, making his eyes bleed as he prays to her and begs for forgiveness while tentacles spew forth from his mouth and Francis drags Zag to hell.

Too lazy to check too many episodes, but it's pretty common that whenever she has an expression that isn't a smile, there's still a lighter bit where the smile was, looking a bit like a creepy smile.
You seem to forget that Gabby= Gaberial. She isn't gonna hide away like a teenage girl. She announced the birth of John the Baptist and the arrival of Christ on earth, talking to an autistic adult would be child's play.
Think I figured out, what might have happened to Gabby. That someone found about her interactions with Jonah which broke some "taboo" in Heaven. Though she wasn't actually doing anything God forbade so she was "promoted" not only to get her away from him, but also to keep her busy so that she couldn't go back. Gabby eventually going awol on her new cartoon which led to Zaggy being sent out, Heaven's first thought of where she would go, of course being Angel Hare. Admittedly this doesn't take into account the shadow ears we see at the end of the Easter episode. But it's the best I have so far.
This, is a really good point. Zaggy and Gabby are angels so it makes sense why they could move from one media to another. But Francis we know objectively isn’t, so how did he come with Zaggy?
This, is a really good point. Zaggy and Gabby are angels so it makes sense why they could move from one media to another. But Francis we know objectively isn’t, so how did he come with Zaggy?
The creators don't know what they're doing--if Francis was an entity like Gabby the entire time, he should have reacted to her breaking character since the start. He became one of them because they find it easier to use him like that.
They can't write to save their lives. Zag supposedly doesn't understand digital video streaming yet he could control the videoplayer- and he couldn't tell he wasn't on TV despite being able to tell Jonah where he could find the tapes and equipment to put on another show. Also he needs to have the show streamed instead of just manifesting through the projection that Jonah is recording for the stream. It's all nonsense.
I might as well add that I found the detective cartoon segment terrible. The dialogue between the characters was awful (I'm talking about Jonah too) and so was the attempt at imitating those shows and animation.
I just assumed Francis can follow Zaggy because Zaggy is willing him to be able to. I thought there was something about God's power basically being willing things to happen so I assumed angel powers work similarly. But yeah, its a change from the first season when he was a mindless drone saying lines.
This is the simplest answer, so probably the correct one, as spiritual powers are usually related to will, and you don’t get much more powerful in the regard than the heavenly host. Also I’m glad Francis is more active in this season.
theres some shit you are clearly missing out on
on script francis was there when the show was broadcasted when jonah was a kid
that was more than 10 years ago
alot more has happened around that time and we can assume gabby gave francis free will
stop being a moronic speedwatcher anon
like the morons who cant tell when jonah is talking and when hes thinking because theire not looking at the quotation marks >zag could control the videoplayer
it never was implied he could
he could just move while the show was paused
thats not controling a videoplayer
if he could control it he could just unpause it then >he needs the show streamed
yes if you werent a speedwatcher you would know they are unable to do anything unless the show is being broadcast live
this has been established already in season 1
the video was still paused when he moved was it not? jonah couldve unpaused it with his keyboard after seeing zag move
also i dunno how unpausing and pausing a video means you understand how streaming works
you can pause a live broadcast too
Said I wasn't him, friend.
It's a bit of a reach to say that Jonah just happened to coincidently unpause at the exact moment Zag closed his hand, but I agree that affecting a live broadcast doesn't inherently mean understanding streaming or any of the mechanics behind what the show is being broadcasted on.
I mean, we're dealing with literal angels here. I don't think divine magic requires actually understanding what you're manipulating.
>jonah couldve unpaused it with his keyboard after seeing zag move
IT SAYS RIGHT THERE THAT JONAH IS TRYING TO PAUSE THE VIDEO, you fricking imbecile. >i dunno how unpausing and pausing a video means you understand how streaming works
It's obvious at this point that you have shit for brians so I'm sure that explaining this would be a waste of time. IT SHOULDN'T EVEN NEED TO BE EXPLAINED, that's how stupid you are!
>stop being a moronic speedwatcher anon
I'm not a moron, I'm just not an idiot that takes things at face value like you. I won't forgive stupid things just because the show has cute cartoon rabbits. >they are unable to do anything unless the show is being broadcast live >this has been established already in season 1
Me and others have always pointed out that it makes little sense. It's not my fault that you are unable to use your brain and realize why. >we can assume gabby gave francis free will
Why should I? What does she gain from it? This is just making excuses for bad writing.
Well shit, if Gabby and co. aren't angels (Francis not included) then she gets around a hell of a lot for a run of the mill human spirit.
shows that Gabby can appear in audio recordings of her own free will.
Jonah is not a reliable narrator, and just because he says something doesn't mean that's iron clad law.
theres some shit you are clearly missing out on
on script francis was there when the show was broadcasted when jonah was a kid
that was more than 10 years ago
alot more has happened around that time and we can assume gabby gave francis free will
stop being a moronic speedwatcher anon
like the morons who cant tell when jonah is talking and when hes thinking because theire not looking at the quotation marks >zag could control the videoplayer
it never was implied he could
he could just move while the show was paused
thats not controling a videoplayer
if he could control it he could just unpause it then >he needs the show streamed
yes if you werent a speedwatcher you would know they are unable to do anything unless the show is being broadcast live
this has been established already in season 1

I probably am, but while the other guy is a bit of a moron and probably a phoneposter, I feel like you're being overly cynical and jumping the gun a bit for a sub 5-digit view count web series.
Especially since the writers seem to be dead set on slightly increasing the information we get each episode. Episode 3 was a fricking waste of time on that metric, only telling us that Gabby's a seraph or something.
Also, if I might add, I think Francis just changed as a result of an angel from another show popping up.

francis had free will as far as the easter special
which was from the time when jonah was still a kid

We don't know what the original script for that special was, but I'll have to pull back a bit, since he did react to Gabby getting increasingly annoyed by his creepy easter eggs.
Even if he had some semblance of free will that far back, his ability to go off script from a concrete episode has obviously increased after Zag showed up.

i dont know if we can even consider the mix tape canon but you can see francis in the background looking for gabby and crying which was before zag showed up

I think it's safe to assume that the original show didn't have Gabby angrily throwing away his eggs and telling him to frick off.
Ah frick it all to hell, I just double checked the episode, and he reacts to whatever dumbassery Jonah just did.
That outright proves that he not only had the ability to go off script since that Easter, but he's been able to see through the TV screen as well.
My little theory has been erased, and Francis is a pedantic homosexual.

>the writers seem to be dead set on slightly increasing the information we get each episode
They're obviously milking what little content they make as much as they can. Let's be honest, the main purpose of Angel Hare is to sell merch. If they were really trying to tell a good story, most of the tired unfiction/horror elements would be gone and the episodes would last as much as needed.
1. He didn't even touch it with his hand.
2. That is not how it works.
What you see in your screen is just for (your) convenience, not of it really exists; it's all electric pulses and transistors. And the visuals are nothing more than coordinated lights that give the illusion of moving pictures. Realistically, for angels to alter the show they would have to manipulate all of that- which is why Gabby caused glitches when she radically changed the cartoon to greet Jonah.
However, the writers cheat and treat the cartoon as a vision of another world when they are too lazy to properly depict this-- which they have done constantly since the Easter special.

It's not dumb shit. Not following logic for the sake of the plot means there is really no plot. If the rules change to serve whatever is more convenient for the writer then there is no use in speculating anything. Idiot.

Think this could be the last piece I do related to this show along with the Helluva crossover, running out of ideas and out of source material. Hope the next episode gives me some inspiration
One of the comments on the video made mention of a book Jonah moved out of the way to get to Wylde Hare, a children's book called "how high is Heaven" which basically says that there is no physical way to reach Heaven, you can only reach it through prayer and be being a good person. While I am certain that Angel Hare isn't suddenly going to go the devout religious route and solve this issue through prayer, heck I'm a Christian and I'd be mad if that was the route they took. It does make me wonder if, it's a potential solution at the very least.
dont count me in
i genuinly hope he succeeds because he deserves it
also iam sure most people here hating on him just want gabby for themselfes...vultures
> just want gabby for themselves
That or projecting. He really hasn't done anything to earn being called "unhinged manbaby" tbh. The guy is a bit weird but so far all he has done this season is seeth at zag, wonder where Gabby is, complain about Zag's show being edgy, and sneak into a church for a cartoon.
>Don't forget the heavy breathing.
That just being a waifu gay and getting confirmation that the cartoon rabbit from you're memories actually talked to you. Only when the cumjars/suspicious rabbit plushies show up will we now how fricked shit is.
I wonder if the creators and early fans of this are happy with the influx of anons from here. Every thread I've seen has been an absolute disaster full of trannies, schizos and coomers. Are they greatfull to that one frickwit who came here to shill this show with his usual gay RP approach?
the discord is fine and its also heavily moderated and the creators dont use Cinemaphile anyways
iam sure theyre happy about new fans regardless
more fans = more patrons = more sales for their merchandise
Anon they don't even acknowledge us. The last time the creator brought up Cinemaphile was to say it sucks and they don't want it being associated with their content
that is a very reasonable position to hold considering the people posting here
cant even be mad at them for thinking that way
atleast theyre still accepting of people who even admitted there that they heard of "angel hare" via Cinemaphile
if they were strict buttholes they wouldve prolly been banned
so how does it feel to be part of these threads knowing the greater community of fans and even the creators themselves don't want to even acknowledge you exist, but are still happy to take your money off you and serve you ads?
So what? Do you know how many artists hate Cinemaphile and want nothing to do with it nowadays? You'd have to stop consuming media altogether if we were going by your logic.
the creators are some of the nicest people i have ever met
they even give free animation/writing advice for other creators, join in conversations, comment on every piece of fanart and are extremly pasionate about everything they have made
(heck ive even gotten a personalised voice message from francises voice actor just for fun)
i would much rather support these people financialy than some big company that couldnt care less about me and my engagement with their products

I have gone through every one of the TikTok videos on @jonah_whit and catalogued ANY notable new footage so that nobody else has to be forced through watching the creators' god-awful attempts at marketing the series as horror.
>I never can sleep without this last step…
Jonah puts a chair under a doorknob. >Going home…
We get to see some of Jonah's QUALITY childhood drawings. One of them has some sort of male antagonistic figure. Perhaps a bully or his father? >You're the only ones I can trust
Jonah's mother is crying on her bed, sees Jonah recording her from the door. We get a longer view of her tossing only his childhood sketches into the fire, and some notes and theories from Jonah that are too small to read because TikTok sucks dick for quality. Notably, there's a note on WoF's employee records that questions whether they're scientists, philosophers, or linguists. >it's two of us. it's happiness. happy Halloween
A Gabby jack-'o-lantern with a few seconds of Tape 6's handholding scene played over it that leaves visual artifacts that last the rest of the video. >I found something new. It isn't over.
A blue egg with a Gabby scribbled onto it. Ends with a tear running down the Gabby sketch's eye. >I'm giving in
We get a view of Jonah's messy desk. His first monitor just has Zag from Case 3 glaring at him while his second monitor has a wallpaper of Gabby that's from a DeviantArt horse show fan. It's also covered in drawings, the only visible one being a portrait of Francis.
Maybe it's just me coping, but I swear that the Season 2 teasers ease up on the "horror" a bit. I hope that means that they're not going to try and force in something to make the series fit the "Analog Horror" moniker like some might think.
>>I never can sleep without this last step… >Jonah puts a chair under a doorknob.
So it worked against his dad. No surprise on the mum being useless there. > tossing only his childhood sketches into the fire, and some notes and theories from Jonah...Notably, there's a note on WoF's employee records that questions whether they're scientists, philosophers, or linguists.
When it comes to the occult those 3 subjects crossover a lot but nothing more concrete? Did the drawings she burned only have the bully/dad or were some of Gabby? >blue egg with a Gabby scribbled onto it. Ends with a tear running down the Gabby sketch's eye.
So Gabby was taken? Horror-wise, it likely could go physiological over body/physical horror like most analogs. That kind of horror is way easier to show in a 2d format too.
There's only one actual drawing of the bully figure, the rest are just him and Gabby, Gabby by herself, and one which on a second look appears to be Jonah praying to an eyebot hovering above his bed with a staticky screen while she pats him on the back.
I didn't see the sketch of the aforementioned bully figure in the box of shit being burnt, but presumably it was all of his childhood drawing.
And like I said, the quality is so shit I can't make out much from the notes, and there's some other stuff there that I didn't consider that important or notable.
Regardless of my personal thoughts, I clipped that segment of the video for others to peruse at their leisure.
Considering the appearance of the show, when KP died, and how the two letters from Tape 5 imply that Angel Hare hasn't been aired in a long time even during the time period in which Jonah's mom was harassing them, I'd say he's in his early 30's at BEST.
Guy's got arrested development.
I mean, shit, considering how abusive Jonah's dad was implied to be, that isn't surprising in the least.
Even more than that, I can't help but think that Jonah's mother was likely too scared to leave his father, and the fact that he had a gun, I can absolutely see the idea that if Gabby hadn't intervened, Jonah's dad might've killed them both in a (possibly drunken) rage.
Considering how much time Jonah spent watching Angel Hare, especially with stuff like the Easter episode, it's possible that he sees Gabby as more of a mother figure than his actual mom, if only due to the fact that she was around for him more because his mom wasn't able to spend time with him., likely because of his shitheel father if

she was crying because shes afraid jonah will go all crazy over this bunny girl again
thats why she burned his drawings
maybe shes religious and sees gabby as a devil?
tape 5 shows that jonahs mom knew all about gabby and even went to talk to the ceo of keith publishing
maybe there is some rly bad shit going on because why would jonahs mom be afraid of gabby?
i see mentions of WoF (company that made wylde hare) and also keiths name in circles
so west patch is actually canon in angel hare? i thought it was just supposed to be a reference or a little nod to their earlier work
>Dr.Whitman?
Jonah has a doctorate? Damn, Jonah has been busy digging into the company. >Following employees >Giles Keith is important? >Company doc stealing attempts >Those notes on the distortions and Gabby's eye tracking.

I Guess Jonah was the blindspot.
watch tape 5 again
that letter was adressed to his mom who is a therapist
Ty for a refresher but seems that Jonah might have also forgotten part of the reason he was looking for gabby. "What we did" hasn't gotten further insight and he has been in communication with Gabby for a while before season 2. So either he delayed mentioning/thinking about it or it happened off-screen
>mom is a therapist
I fricking WISH Jonah's mom was my mom.

lol i know a guy with therapist mother, turned into a junkie and landed himself in prison.
Most who get into psychology stuff have problems themselves.
About 3 seconds into the Going Home one we get a good look at it before it gets pulled away and we see a drawing that vaguely looks like Gabby protecting Jonah from a bully.
Made a crappy stitch if you don't want to check the video yourself.
ok. >Satan attempts to send in his demons to the world >If by some miracle the angels haven’t already smitten the first one that came through they’ll be alerted eventually >Angel Hare happens >Jonah gets cucked by fake gabby >”Wake up” x15 >Jonah IMMEDIATELY turns into a violent incel, bathes all his weaponry in holy water, saws off a shotgun, gets literal hand grenades, gets buff >Alrernage attempts to kill him >Head gets blown off >”bad deci-“ >Zaggy appears on the tv in the room >Zagzagel nukes the alternate with the full might of God >”Do not be afraid Jonah, I know where Gabby is” >Jonah puts on the full armor of God and completely saves Mandela County from the minions of Satan, with help from a LITERAL angel whose only weakness is confinement to animated cartoons, circumvented by having Jonah turn on Looney Tunes or some other bullshit cartoon with violence in it so Zaggy can rip and tear through Intruders and save babies >Jonah kisses Gabby the End
I hope that this turns into an analog seraph mystery instead of just becoming a run of the mill "AND THEN I WENT INTO THE BACKROOMS, WOO CREEPY VHS DISTORSION FILTERS SEEING ANGEL GABBY." that most analog horror turns into. like a Call of Cthulhu style mystery
I have to say I like how Zag and Jonah seem to be developing, if not a friendship, then a kind of tolerance for each other. That little salute he gives before the Angel Hare stream ends was cute.
>Jonah (that two-faced homosexual) doesn't seem to tolerate Zag at all.
A part of me is starting to think that Jonah just hasn't had a positive interaction with any older ales in general sometimes. That or he is letting his first impressions of zag taint literally all future interactions.
What the frick did I just watch? I'm so confused.
in the last episode zag wanted a setting with more depth aka something more realistic
he was able to decrypt francises vision that way (the newspaper he read at the end)
jonah somehow got an idea and probably plans some crazy shit on his own considering he doesnt like zag and doesnt want to work with him (no idea what jonah could be planning)
that was what i got out of it atleast
iam sure the random quotes also mean something but no idea where theire from
hold up, this silly angel show turned into a detective show all of a sudden? I'm gonna have to actually watch it instead of shitposting in this thread.
I just hope it doesn't turn out to be that they aren't really angels
I wonder if Joah prefers her as a Hare if she can change form
If he browses Cinemaphile, probably. If he's normal no, probably not.
Zag asked Francis to move him over to a more complex setting, which is the detective show they're in - since it would be easier to decrypt Gabby's message.
Summary:
>Zaggy asks Jonah to sneak into a church to steal an old detective noir cartoon.
I happen to like 1930s comics and detective shit too, so I'm fine with this. I hope we do get to see more of the rabbits though.
I'm starting to consider these might be a red herring honestly
Top is obviously a pair of buttocks. Gabby is twerking, meaning she's now some common thot dancing in a dive bar.
Did anyone else notice the picture in the back of Zag's office. It's not a 1-1, but the general shape matches this theorized look for Gabby.
>Zag and Gabby are an item
Jonah is gonna go batshit insane.
There are 3 people in that photo.
tbh I only see two heads (so two people) and a demon tail.
>Demon tail
Oh shit
Also, digits
Those aren't digits
Also we have enough shows about demons
>Those trips
I swear to god if we don't get a demon on screen I'm dumping the show.
>demon tail
DEMONBROS WE'RE IN
NO! No more demons! No more unholy things. I grabbed to this show because it was about angels and was a nice spin, on the ARG formula by having something supernatual actually want to help humanity.
Pretty sure they’re supposed to be siblings.
Hot, thanks for giving me art ideas.
>Zaggy was in a relationship with Gabby
Maybe thats why Zaggy responded so poorly when Jonah said Habby was important to him.
There also looks like a 3rd person to the right of the photo covered by the light
Huh, now that you mention it, it *does* kinda look like there's a person on the right who's crossing their arms.
Completely missed the 3rd person when I created the image, but now I definitely see them.
This is where you could also introduce demons who seek to pull other beings into the same pit
>here's your third angel bro
Oh good, I thought that top picture was a butt.
>older than angel hare
>blonde character has a style more akin to modern cartoons
He's also not from Wylde Hare, that's Francis. Its probably also just to do with the limits of the artists' abilities.
don't care, if you want to simulate a style of a certain time, put the damn effort. this only makes it look like he's trying way too hard when it wasn't needed
The rest of the characters are period correct. I think Francis might be purposefully made to look out of place.
damn francis is a wimp on both show
>tell me about your new client
I think its francis's first time on a different cartoon
His name is fricking Francis. He was doomed to be wimpy.
Explain this.
Or this
Boooo, I want rabbits
Too bad, you get Knock off Dick Tracy
shut up jonah gabby doesnt want to see you anymore
):<
hahahaha
Get bent.
I'm betting the next episode will be a scifi show with time travel and Gabby will be so hot.
The episode ends with Jonah having an idea, so its back to rabbits since thats all he cares about. I'm betting its poorly drawn fanfic rabbits.
>Zaggy is stuck with an effeminate badger and the one manchild furry who doesnt like scifi cartoons.
No bunnies = no likes
I wonder what his reaction would be if he meets her in a non-hare cartoon, if he'd still go bananas seeing Gabby looking like a 20s dame.
>turns out Jonah's a big HMoFA fan
>sees Gabby in a human form
>runs away, shouting something about missing his bnuuy waifu for laifu
Still wouldn't be that surprised if he eventually commits seppuku to join Gabby, or does something to get himself put into the show as a character or something, endlessly streaming new episodes on loop until the computer crashes and he's trapped forever.
abuse is always a cycle maybe he could become overbearing and abusive on gabby once she does something he doesnt like
Maybe, but I don't see how he could abuse her seeing as there'd be a massive power gap between them.
Nah, if anything he'd snap on Zag and Francis, or leave them in the Wylde Hare cartoon and bring Gabby to Angel Hare so it's just her and him.
Gabby is a Seraph. There's such a massive gap between her and a person like Jonah that they just can't compare.
Yeah it's pretty hard to abuse an angel lmao.
I mean God nuked two cities for being improper hosts to angel visitors, and angels have been given authority to kill humans in the past.
The only abuse I could see being possible is emotional abuse. Something like Jonah threatening to kill himself any time Gabby wants to leave.
out Jonah's a big HMoFA fan
>>sees Gabby in a human form
>>runs away, shouting something about missing his bnuuy waifu for laifu
he is literally me
they were never actually angels and are either dead humans who got turned into cartoon characters or cartoon characters that were given free will
angel zag isnt actually an angel the detective show is where he originaly came from (thats why he knew about it beforehand and it explains his demeanor)
also wreath of life (same company that produced and released angel hare) also made the detective show
>Dead humans who got turned into cartoon characters
>it’s a another “kid’s thing is possessed” analog horror story
Angelgays, is it over?
its just a theory i came up with on the spot
next ep could prove it all wrong
Are you actually surprised? C'mon
Well shit, if Gabby and co. aren't angels (Francis not included) then she gets around a hell of a lot for a run of the mill human spirit.
Oh and
. Plus there would be no reason to hide their nature if they were just ghosts.
This is a great idea, let's tell TEP about this, hopefully they'll make it canon
If that were true then it would be a coincidence that Jonah's dad possibly got killed in that flood.
Huh. I had assumed that Zag would still look like a hare when he went into a different show. Wasn’t expecting him to end up human. Or at least looking like one.
human gabby next ep? would be interesting to see
Maybe it was the slight way he tilted his head after Francis said Angel's can't die but I keep feeling suspicious about Zag.
pretty ballsy to change up so drastically, interesting though
that was definitely deliberate
either angels can die
or they aren't angels
Or it could imply that although they can't die, there are fates worse than death.
It definitely reads to me as more "who told you angels can't die?" than anything else. Zag definitely thinks Francis is overly naive at best.
>NO LONGER SEXXO
it's over zaggybros
Morals about not being a dirty crook as he beats them to the curb or pulls a Columbo on them?
On your next play date take her to church and tell the specifically you are asking for "amnesty."
>The use their phone and call the cops.
Run!
I want this to be a real show now
Honestly, this Angel Hare series is just okay.
>"He's not originally from Angel Hare"
You mean I've been having gross thoughts about some grown ass man's fursona!?
I mean, it's pretty obvious that Zag wasn't originally from the show. He outright shows up peeking down from mthe clouds like he just popped up with no warning and is getting a view of the layout.
Anon that was Gabby's original introduction, too.
I wonder how he sees the world, living in a 2d animation would be weird
He's a timeless higher dimensional entity. I imagine it's a bit like playing with a fingerpuppet.
Even worse, its a fake fursona. He clearly doesn't like it, only adopting it to get into the show.
That would be pretty dickish but wouldnt that mean they'd be hampering his own chances of finding Gabby so he could be a little b***h?
Petty, self-destructive behavior sounds in character for Jonah.
Petty?
Yes.
But so far, he hasn't done frick all to actually hamper the manhunt for his waifu.
He's only been thinking
>Zag's a guy and Gabby isn't.
You make him sound like a coomer John Wick
Well, even if Jonah wasn't the one to ice his father, Gabby was still grooming him to not be such a WIMP.
So, even if he doesn't have the skill to do it, I truly believe that Jonah has the balls to take another man's life to save his waifu.
The Bible probably has some edge cases where that's allowed for civilians.
The Bible's fine with killing, provided you have a good reason. What it does have a problem with is angel on human relationships.
Heh.
Now we need a Taken parody starring Jonah.
i think the plan must be something else
what does jonah gain from bringing zag and francis back to angel hare? he helped zag to find gabby in the first place and he doesnt care about shows that much he just wants to see gabby again
He does specifically hate Wild Hare. I imagine he'd rather it be cute like Angel Hare, or at least not violent.
Something about his speech boxes makes me think everything he says in them is very sarcastic or whiney.
So, do you guys think Francine and Francis previously knew each other? After Zag introduces him, she claims to remember him. Though that could've just been Zag telling her to play along.
>Francine
>Francis
Maybe they're the same person, or alter egos or something.
But then how are they in the same room at the same time?
Maybe each of the angels have a show they call their own, with the deuteragonist/sidekick being named some variation of Francis.
Hopefully the piebald one doesn't end up only showing up in season 3. If we actually get one.
I agree with this. The thumbnail sort of implies that the shows are direct parallels.
I mean, he shouldn't have ever appeared in the cartoon. I wonder if that the secretary is sticking to a script thing or what.
>Zaggy resents being a furry, so he switched genres
Actually based
Truly he is a devout follower of the Lord.
This guy is still the most based in that regard.
He killed himself to avoid becoming a furry.
How long will be the wait for episode 5?
Months
At first I didn't really care for this series but I'm interested in the new cartoon hopping angle they're approaching. I'm now cautiously optimistic
All cartoons produced by this production company much share a universe somehow. Otherwise I don't see how Gabby could be there, flashing before our eyes, when she was doing the same thing in Angel Hare.
These cartoons might all be windows into the same thing: a "deeper" place. Holier?
Given the company is outright named WREATH and this other show is called "Wyld HARE", there's definitely a recurring theme.
> why isn't the show called The Wyld HARE
Although.. here's something I noticed.
The Angel Hare company is called Wreath of Life.
But Wylde Hare was made by "WoF Pictures".
"Life" does not begin with "F".
So what does the F stand for?..
Faith or fire are my best guesses. Since its in a Church, I'm going with faith.
World on Fire? Wreath of Faith? Watch of Fun?
Why do the newer threads feel less lively than the first ones?
Anons astroturfing got bored?
Could just be some people are burnt out over the threads that span throughout the week
Also this is the first tape that moves away from rabbits
Ngl the newest episodes are kinda interesting but boring. The weeky upload schedule is fine for retention but with each episode so short there's barely enough time to do really big or interesting reveals.
Also, they don't look like cute animals anymore and shot my interest in half. I can't even post about fricking Zaggy anymore because he's a disgusting humie now.
Did you already forget how the the first threads' "liveliness" were caused by the schizo shitting them up? I'd take a slow thread over that.
It's clearly a hand over a crossed arm, not a tail.
(me)
On one hand: Darn, you beat me to it.
On the other hand: You had the same idea I did, so maybe we're onto something.
>clearly
I can see it, but you have to admit that's one fricked up shoulder, then.
Not only that, but the guy's also either got a giant head, or he's shorter than Gabby.
The picture that was posted first is squashed. This is how it is in the episode and it looks more natural.
It's just a woman in a dress crossing her arms.
Oh. It's just the shoulder of another woman...
Frick
Sorry about that, photo manipulation is not a strong suit of mine.
Ay hold on a second.
Whose fricking hand is that on probably Gabby's hips?
It's Zag's and hand on waist is a pretty default pose for group shots with women (or at least it used to be before the hover-handing epidemic). Doesn't necessarily mean anything.
>Zag holding Gabby's waist like the turbo Chad he is
It's so fricking over for Jonah.
Good. I wouldn't tolerate them making a demon part of the main cast.
I like the angel dove pin and that he looks like Cinemaphilenrad
If they keep switching art styles i can't imagine all the different forms Gabby can take
I was just fine with bunny angel Gabby
>human zag
>human francis
god damn it, i already got off today
i'm expecting lewds of them fricking
or at least some pin-ups
Francis looks like a complete loser though
Zag's too good for him
anon, that's what makes it hot
francis being a complete sub to zag
Someone should do their own take of human Gabby and then we can compare it with the real thing
/r/ing hare Zaggy wearing detective Zag's clothes
good request, I think this is the first time I drew zaggy
nice
nice shit anon
Ha! They look like dorks.
It's technically a cartoon, so it belongs here. Cope and seethe.
>How fricking dare these people talk about a cartoon on the comic and cartoons board!
>neither is furry content
Way to discredit yourself immediately. The only thing that's not allowed is furry PORN.
The threads get new content so they aren't quite as useless as a general and furry is allowed as long as it's not porn.
>neither is furry content
then go b***h to the helluva boss threads, gay
I think the theory someone put up earlier where they need to make new episodes or something may come to pass. As the final line of this episode is "the show may change...but she's the same." referring to Gabby. I'm not sure how creating new episode or potentially a new Angel Hare series/fan series might summon Gabby back, but that theory seems most likely to come true imo.
He could stream a live recording of himself and see what happens.
>He could stream a live recording of himself and see what happens.
I feel that would either kill the human him, make him able to exist on both planes of existence or create a soma situation where there are now 2 Jonahs. All sound like they would cause problems later down the line but are interesting.
Probably nothing.
I'd imagine Wreath did something with their animations to give them the effect they have when broadcast.
You may be onto something there. Zag probably didn't make Jonah find Wyld Hare for nostalgia's sake.
>Human Francis is blonde
Hmm, maybe it's because of the white strip his racoon form has
He’s a badger
>neither is furry content
Actually it's just furry porn. It's the same line as the several cheesecake threads every board has.
So... why? It can't just be for atmosphere, because they could've just slapped some other shit on that's more relavent to the whole noir detective thing.
sounds faustian
I could swear I've heard that audio before, but I can't place it. Any anons recognize it?
After looking for a little bit, I found that this is The Devil's Due by Light's Out, premiered in 1939.
?si=ySX0DOr2LbiOc-6-
nice find!
As someone who has friends with daddy issues it feels evident that zag probably reminds jonah of his abusive dad hell him mentioning he doesn't get the hang of streaming is something I'd say about my boomer dad
cringe ARG
cringe post
>he doesn't understand streaming yet
Cute boomer rabbit!
>no way something with a thousand views could have 50 IPs posting about it
On Cinemaphile? Absolutely. Unless it actually originates on Cinemaphile, which this doesn't. This is just you usual cringe discord affair.
You don't know what you're talking about. Just go talk to people about something you like instead of bothering us.
Fukken nice.
Though I'm not sure what the Bible says on eating the flesh of literal demons.
Don't worry, Gab just got into a *bit* of a scuff and wanted to prank Francis' BBQ >w<
>Bible says on eating the flesh of literal demons.
Typically demons are spiritual beings that frick with/puppeteer people so there is no real flesh to nibble on. Christ cast Legion into pigs and the next thing that happened was that the pigs kill themselves. Don't eat it shit tainted by evil.
love how your art looks 3d, lineless stuff is always cool
>Spoiler
Angel Hare would fall under /uh/s umbrella, if push comes to shove.
Wonderful stuff anons
Zag is grillin'.
Then filter it and move on.
We're just a handful of really dedicated fans I suppose 🙂
>neither is furry content.
What is Sonic you blithering wienersucker.
Sonic belongs in Cinemaphile
I did some, very basic digging as I started thinking about Francis. There is St. Francis of Assisi, who apparently receives a holy mark after an encounter with a seraph, which we’re guessing Gabby is. No major evil though as he is a Christian Saint, though his early life is kind of glossed over and he did fight in a few wars before suddenly becoming pious after a vision, not sure if it’s the one with the seraph/
Jonahgays in shambles
>Zaggy shows up
>Show instantly improves because no more Gabby coombait, instead chadchadel starts doing some big brain detective work and gets down to business
>Jonah seething just like Gabby's coomerbase
Based show honestly.
>implying 80% of Zaggy's fanbase isn't also coomers
>Gabby
>coombait
SHE LOOKS LIKE A FRICKING BEAN
She drives me wild.
Spoiler that shit.
I'm surprised so few fans recognized he is a hard boiled detective, or at least that's what he's used to. Cyberpunk 2077 got a rereleased and Chicken Police had a new demo so you choomers should know what noir characters sound like!
Ummm….homosexuals?
/co/nrad is way too good for Cinemaphile
He was made during better times. Before even Autism Time and Tumblr Universe shat up the place.
I need rundown or elaboration on it please
Around the mid 00s it was decided to make a character that epitomizes Cinemaphile. A new series about The Spirit had come out so it was decided to make him in vein of that character. There are more details but basically it's an epitome of Cinemaphile and The Spirit.
can someone leak all the stuff they have on patreon on kemono party?
>Oyakodon
I still don't know what it means but I assume it's something really depraved.
frick it i'll spoonfeed
it means a threesome with a mother and daughter
>threesome
Why can't anon use this word then? Is he moronic? Has hentai rotted his brain?
Yeah, probably.
Wordplay
That's like saying why call it a pussy when it's called a vegana
That's not what a wordplay is.
Coomers/weebs just love to unnecessarily use Japanese terms for all porn in general for some reason. People who just say hentai instead of porn or yuri instead of lesbian for example need their heads slapped and computer taken away for a bit
You aren't gonna find a lack of people like that o. Cinemaphile
nobody in their right mind would use the word "porn" for "hentai"
everybody knows whats meant with hentai (erotic cartoons from japan)
thats why people differentiate it to begin with
Theesome just means sex between 3 parties, let it be male/female/female, male/male/female or whatever, there's not an english word for mother/daughter theesome sex so oyakodon it is, also weeb site.
Let's see:
>Oyakodon with rabbit Gabby and her mom
vs
>threesome with Gabby and her mom
Well would you look at that, it works in English too! If you have to specify who you're oyakodon'ing with it's the same goddamn thing.
You moronic dweeb.
The former is better because I don't know what it means
At the very least it can get you curious enough to look it up
>dweeb
>he says arguing about proper terminology about having sexual intercourse with a cartoon angel rabbit and her mother at 6 in the morning
Welcome to the club
Mother+daughter+you, its original meaning is chicken served with its eggs on a bowl.
personally I found Jonah's little "this is NOT comfy!!" rant in this episode particularly pathetic, I wonder what kind of ending they're planning for the two with how they're recently emphasizing how childishly dependant Jonah is on Gabby
If it's not just cartoon media that they can hop between, I can't help but wonder about a potential FAITH crossover idea
>MORTIS
I will suck my own dick if FAITH and Angel hare have a crossover
drawgays get on it NOW
>Zag, Garcia, & John triple-teaming the shit out of Gary and Malphas
Put it in my veins.
Detective Zag shows up, beats the hell out the possessed people (literally),and personally drags every demon there back to hell.
>tfw no hot dinner with rabbit angel gf and her mother
Jonah is gonna find a way to trap Zag (Gabby's husband) inside some random tape/film which he will then burn. Mark my words.
Gabby won't be pleased.
I'd be surprised if enough of an angel's existence is tied to the tapes for that to take them out.
More likely he'll probably find a way to lock them out of his own personal broadcasts so its just him and Gabby, maybe through deal with a demon.
Jonah's obsession with Gabby leading to him making a deal with a demon, the absolute last thing Gabby would ever want him to do, would honestly be a really cool idea
Didn't Jesus himself explicitly say that angels can't marry?
It was eons ago, he changed his mind since then.
But God is immutable.
So you think.
Source?
That would be an equimitical matter.
ecumenical*
>"So I hear your a racist now Agnel Zaggy."
fck it i had to
You gonna tattoo just like that one gay on the discord too or something?
the tatoo guy was based beyond belief
That's a funny way to spell cringe. Tattoos are cringe in general, getting one just to show people you enjoy thing that you will likely forget in five years top is the most cringe it possibly can
you were never a real fan to begin with if you just forget about it in the future
so i have to agree with you
i would only have a tatoo of something i know beforehand i will always enjoy looking at
but all youre doing now atm is just assuming the guy who got the tatoo will forget about it in 5 years
you dont know that person and how much they cared thus your argument falls flat
The fact you can't even spell tattoo tells me all I need to know about your intelligence lol
>you're not a REAAAALL fan
I don't say this lightly but please go back. You cant stay.
youre not a real fan if you think the tatoo guy is cringe
>the tards on Cinemaphile still havent discovered jonahs tik tok yet
Link or it didn't happen
@jonah_whit
here
theres some completly new footage on it too but nothing too crazy
Can someone upload the ones with new footage to catbox, I don't use tiktok
you can watch these in your browser without downloading or logging into tic tok
What the FRICK would my boomer-self do on TokTok, anon?
my dad is in his 50s and he watches tik tok literally all day
sometimes he even shows me dumb memes on it
wish i was joking but i also find it kinda cute
Your father is lusting over 16y/o girls doing silly dances, anon.
>there are discord gays itt
It explains a lot.
nobody mentioned discord before you did anon
You blind homosexual
i genuinly thought you and him were the same person
The point is tattoos of media is a child's mentality, which is proven yet again by how you can't spell such a simple word. If you're going to get a tattoo get something meaningful and not the generic slop you shovel into your mouth to avoid the real world.
believe it or not i ordered the t-shirt aswell
Print quality looks awful.
looks fine to me
youre just jelly you dont have one yourself
Why am I not surprised that a manchild that can't spell and thinks media tattoos are good would also lack basic household cleanliness skills?
tatoo
Purposely trying to get a rise out of people isn't really nice. And here I thought you were supposed to be the one with the moral high ground.
jonah's getting a bit too restless...
under normal circumstances people can get overbearing attachments to other people during traumatic childhoods
now you throw in a protective supernatural entity he didnt really stand a chance
What's he playing at anyway?
>I know how to find her
You don't know SHIT, Jonah. Get out of your own way.
See, that's the annoying thing, to me.
With the talk about how "all the clues are here" or whatever, the writers are making it *sound* like a fair play mystery.
But I have a sneaking suspicion that Jonah's idea is going to be something not at all obvious that clearly only works because the writers said it did.
I'm convinced he's bullshitting just to get Zag off his back. I expect him to do something stupid next week.
to me it seems much more like Zag was about to actually find all the relevant clues, but Jonah interrupted with his own autistic definitely-won't-work idea because in his eyes Gabby is HIS angel and he has to be the one responsible for finding her
Its probably this, but the question is what is the harebrained idea he's going to try?
>harebrained
frankly I think Zag proves that if Jonah had a hare's brain he'd be a lot more competent
Probably this. Jonah is going to frick it all up because of his obsession.
at the end of the ep he just presented his idea to zag and francis
maybe zag will agree with him?
>at the end of the ep he just presented his idea to Zag and Francis
yeah, I don't know where people are getting the idea that Jonah is about to frick shit up when he is telling them he has an idea. Plus the guy is not about to Isolate the only leads he has on Gabby and he knows that Zag is not limited to the tapes/streams.
Calling it now, this is where the show gets darker, Jonah tries to kill/hurt himself on the stream to try to lure Gabby out because he's a total weirdo, and both Zag and Francis stop him.
thatd be just edgy and grimdark and wouldnt fit the tone of the series untill that point
As much as I'd hate it and think it would be a mistake, the series still seems to be pretending it's supposed to be "analog horror", judging by the thumbnails for each episode, the little smile glitches on Gabby, Jonah's unhealthy obsession, and the second mail episode.
It's really only a matter of time until they slip and turn the show darker.
horror doesnt need to be all gore and realistic bloody eyes
it can also just be light horror which can be appropriate for kids/teens too
i feel like thats what theire going for in angel hare
they already have kind world if they want to explore more mature themes
this is just my 2 cents on the topic and iam ready to admit i was wrong if the new ep comes out
>it can also just be light horror which can be appropriate for kids/teens too
doesn't exist, that's just shit horror
>kid-friendly horror
>shit
Someone sure grew up without Goosebumps and Klasky Csupo cartoons.
Goosebumps was actually mildly edgy from time to time, it's what made it good.
>theire
I've seen this more than once in these threads. Are you an ESL or...?
You couldn't tell that by the constant lack of punctuation of capitalization? He's probably both ESL and moronic.
>lack of punctuation [or] capitalization?
That is not rare even among English speakers. Sadly.
>theire
This, on the other hand, is very uncommon- which is why I find it interesting.
>the little smile glitches on Gabby
Could you post them?
Too lazy to check too many episodes, but it's pretty common that whenever she has an expression that isn't a smile, there's still a lighter bit where the smile was, looking a bit like a creepy smile.
Great pic. Where is it from?
me
Why does it have a Cinemaphile filename?
Because I’m the hacker known as Cinemaphile
newbie.
?
You seem to forget that Gabby= Gaberial. She isn't gonna hide away like a teenage girl. She announced the birth of John the Baptist and the arrival of Christ on earth, talking to an autistic adult would be child's play.
This is actually very cool; love how they transcend forms so that they are not just in bunny bodies but represent a mobile spirit.
Jonah will kill Zag. You'll see. You will all see.
smug rabbit
Calm down, Jonah.
Badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger
Rabbit rabbit
You guys think Zag would enjoy a nice cold beer after a hard day of labouring?
Why beer instead of wine- oh, yeah... it IS in-character that he doesn't stick to tradition.
I wonder.. just what is up with Francis? Now apparently he can move between cartoons?
Francis started acting sentient in the Easter episode, so the retcon happened before season 2 really.
theres some shit you are clearly missing out on
on script francis was there when the show was broadcasted when jonah was a kid
that was more than 10 years ago
alot more has happened around that time and we can assume gabby gave francis free will
stop being a moronic speedwatcher anon
like the morons who cant tell when jonah is talking and when hes thinking because theire not looking at the quotation marks
>zag could control the videoplayer
it never was implied he could
he could just move while the show was paused
thats not controling a videoplayer
if he could control it he could just unpause it then
>he needs the show streamed
yes if you werent a speedwatcher you would know they are unable to do anything unless the show is being broadcast live
this has been established already in season 1
NTA, but while you got everything else correct, it's quite obvious that Zag unpaused the stream/video himself.
the video was still paused when he moved was it not? jonah couldve unpaused it with his keyboard after seeing zag move
also i dunno how unpausing and pausing a video means you understand how streaming works
you can pause a live broadcast too
Said I wasn't him, friend.
I won't forgive stupid things just because the show has cute cartoon rabbits.
>they are unable to do anything unless the show is being broadcast live
>this has been established already in season 1
Me and others have always pointed out that it makes little sense. It's not my fault that you are unable to use your brain and realize why.
>we can assume gabby gave francis free will
Why should I? What does she gain from it? This is just making excuses for bad writing.
The fan forum on
shows that Gabby can appear in audio recordings of her own free will.
Jonah is not a reliable narrator, and just because he says something doesn't mean that's iron clad law.
You're barking up the wrong tree. Tell it to
.
Even if he had some semblance of free will that far back, his ability to go off script from a concrete episode has obviously increased after Zag showed up.
i dont know if we can even consider the mix tape canon but you can see francis in the background looking for gabby and crying which was before zag showed up
Ah frick it all to hell, I just double checked the episode, and he reacts to whatever dumbassery Jonah just did.
That outright proves that he not only had the ability to go off script since that Easter, but he's been able to see through the TV screen as well.
My little theory has been erased, and Francis is a pedantic homosexual.
I think it's safe to assume that the original show didn't have Gabby angrily throwing away his eggs and telling him to frick off.
>the writers seem to be dead set on slightly increasing the information we get each episode
They're obviously milking what little content they make as much as they can. Let's be honest, the main purpose of Angel Hare is to sell merch. If they were really trying to tell a good story, most of the tired unfiction/horror elements would be gone and the episodes would last as much as needed.
>he could just unpause it then
He literally unpaused the stream.
He could probably only notice and unpause it because the pause icon was in his reach, literally floating right in front of him.
However, the writers cheat and treat the cartoon as a vision of another world when they are too lazy to properly depict this-- which they have done constantly since the Easter special.
most autistic post ITT
>autistic for having a basic understanding of electronics
Again, you're an idiot.
Again, you're an autist.
It's not dumb shit. Not following logic for the sake of the plot means there is really no plot. If the rules change to serve whatever is more convenient for the writer then there is no use in speculating anything. Idiot.
you sound like these unhinged cinemasins gays who complain about dumb shit all the time and dont care at all for character motivations and what the plot is trying to tell
like a robot basicly or you know...an autistic individual
Zaggy most likely just brought him along. Can't really tell a direct agent of Heaven "no".
>you sound like a buttmad moron right now
The irony is lost on you.
blursed
(me)
Think this could be the last piece I do related to this show along with the Helluva crossover, running out of ideas and out of source material. Hope the next episode gives me some inspiration
Cute memepost. Mind if I request Gabby and Zaggy doing the DMC Jackpot meme?
Hello, big E
Gabriel, Zaggy, I wish that everyone who dies goes to hell no matter what!
your drawings have been a highlight of these threads my friend
One of the comments on the video made mention of a book Jonah moved out of the way to get to Wylde Hare, a children's book called "how high is Heaven" which basically says that there is no physical way to reach Heaven, you can only reach it through prayer and be being a good person. While I am certain that Angel Hare isn't suddenly going to go the devout religious route and solve this issue through prayer, heck I'm a Christian and I'd be mad if that was the route they took. It does make me wonder if, it's a potential solution at the very least.
It would suck if the whole thing would be solved by just praying but it would also suck if the show leaves all biblical parallels behind.
I like that everyone here seemingly thinks Jonah is an unhinged manbaby. You may be bunny-frickers, but sometimes you're alright.
dont count me in
i genuinly hope he succeeds because he deserves it
also iam sure most people here hating on him just want gabby for themselfes...vultures
> just want gabby for themselves
That or projecting. He really hasn't done anything to earn being called "unhinged manbaby" tbh. The guy is a bit weird but so far all he has done this season is seeth at zag, wonder where Gabby is, complain about Zag's show being edgy, and sneak into a church for a cartoon.
Don't forget the heavy breathing. Jonah sure loves to breathe loudly like a creep stalking you from the shadows!
>Don't forget the heavy breathing.
That just being a waifu gay and getting confirmation that the cartoon rabbit from you're memories actually talked to you. Only when the cumjars/suspicious rabbit plushies show up will we now how fricked shit is.
this ARG shit again..
It barely qualifies as an ARG.
I wonder if the creators and early fans of this are happy with the influx of anons from here. Every thread I've seen has been an absolute disaster full of trannies, schizos and coomers. Are they greatfull to that one frickwit who came here to shill this show with his usual gay RP approach?
Well there's at least one schizo who's buying their merch so I guess they might be happy about that, at least.
the discord is fine and its also heavily moderated and the creators dont use Cinemaphile anyways
iam sure theyre happy about new fans regardless
more fans = more patrons = more sales for their merchandise
Anon they don't even acknowledge us. The last time the creator brought up Cinemaphile was to say it sucks and they don't want it being associated with their content
that is a very reasonable position to hold considering the people posting here
cant even be mad at them for thinking that way
atleast theyre still accepting of people who even admitted there that they heard of "angel hare" via Cinemaphile
if they were strict buttholes they wouldve prolly been banned
Honestly? Fair. Horrorgay has especially poisoned the well as of late when it comes to the response to unfiction projects on here.
so how does it feel to be part of these threads knowing the greater community of fans and even the creators themselves don't want to even acknowledge you exist, but are still happy to take your money off you and serve you ads?
So what? Do you know how many artists hate Cinemaphile and want nothing to do with it nowadays? You'd have to stop consuming media altogether if we were going by your logic.
the creators are some of the nicest people i have ever met
they even give free animation/writing advice for other creators, join in conversations, comment on every piece of fanart and are extremly pasionate about everything they have made
(heck ive even gotten a personalised voice message from francises voice actor just for fun)
i would much rather support these people financialy than some big company that couldnt care less about me and my engagement with their products
>free animation/writing advice for other creators
Geez, talk about "you get what you pay for".
>take your money off
>serve you ads
OR
So which is it?? I'm gonna guess the former.
>horrorgay actually watched angel hare
we broke him bad
>tfw Horrorgay turns into Jonah IRL
all me btw
You really just can't say anything remotely negative about this, huh?
I honestly would rather deal with the obvious schizo than the imbecile who won't let anyone say anything negative.
>>I never can sleep without this last step…
>Jonah puts a chair under a doorknob.
Regardless of my personal thoughts, I clipped that segment of the video for others to peruse at their leisure.
btw...how old is jonah supposed to be?
his tik tok editing style and the way he talks is very much like a teenager
Considering how much time Jonah spent watching Angel Hare, especially with stuff like the Easter episode, it's possible that he sees Gabby as more of a mother figure than his actual mom, if only due to the fact that she was around for him more because his mom wasn't able to spend time with him., likely because of his shitheel father if
this post mentioning the recording of her crying on her bed is anything to go by.
she was crying because shes afraid jonah will go all crazy over this bunny girl again
thats why she burned his drawings
maybe shes religious and sees gabby as a devil?
tape 5 shows that jonahs mom knew all about gabby and even went to talk to the ceo of keith publishing
maybe there is some rly bad shit going on because why would jonahs mom be afraid of gabby?
>Guy's got arrested development.
People here don't want to accept this, but it's true.
That's because they are the ones with arressted development too if these posts are any indication (and it's a lot)
i see mentions of WoF (company that made wylde hare) and also keiths name in circles
so west patch is actually canon in angel hare? i thought it was just supposed to be a reference or a little nod to their earlier work
>Dr.Whitman?
Jonah has a doctorate? Damn, Jonah has been busy digging into the company.
>Following employees
>Giles Keith is important?
>Company doc stealing attempts
>Those notes on the distortions and Gabby's eye tracking.
Man is dedicated.
>which on a second look appears to be Jonah praying to an eyebot hovering above his bed with a staticky screen while she pats him on the back.
Mind posting where that one cause that is radically different.
watch tape 5 again
that letter was adressed to his mom who is a therapist
>his mom who is a therapist
Yep, Dr. Euleila B. Whitman. She was in The West Patch.
>Giles Keith
So was he.
>Mom's a therapist
I Guess Jonah was the blindspot.
Thanks, anon.
>the creators are christian too
based
guess we can assume theyre actual angels now
ah frick me forgot the screenshot
i rly need to stop drinking whiskey tonight
Hannah is the animator, right? The short-haired one?
i think rachel does the writing and hannah the animation yeah
Oh that's great, this made me join their Discord actually. How many of people here are already there?
You really need to stop forming parasocial relationships online with shitty media lmao
It's just been one post so far. I'm more bothered by his infantile posts.
Believe me, more than one post has been dealt with ITT.
gabby if she evil
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/FAlVZoBY4Ow
>JeSUS at the window
>"Wake up Joseph"
>Zaagy just flies over and pulls the blinds down on the window.
>Gabby and Zag would 100% beat the absolute frick out of the false Gabriel
Mandela Catalogue would get violently derailed if Gabby and Zag were involved.
I demand a writegay do a green centered around this very concept
Are you that lazy you can't bother to make content for such a braindead concept?
Yes.
ok.
>Satan attempts to send in his demons to the world
>If by some miracle the angels haven’t already smitten the first one that came through they’ll be alerted eventually
>Angel Hare happens
>Jonah gets cucked by fake gabby
>”Wake up” x15
>Jonah IMMEDIATELY turns into a violent incel, bathes all his weaponry in holy water, saws off a shotgun, gets literal hand grenades, gets buff
>Alrernage attempts to kill him
>Head gets blown off
>”bad deci-“
>Zaggy appears on the tv in the room
>Zagzagel nukes the alternate with the full might of God
>”Do not be afraid Jonah, I know where Gabby is”
>Jonah puts on the full armor of God and completely saves Mandela County from the minions of Satan, with help from a LITERAL angel whose only weakness is confinement to animated cartoons, circumvented by having Jonah turn on Looney Tunes or some other bullshit cartoon with violence in it so Zaggy can rip and tear through Intruders and save babies
>Jonah kisses Gabby the End
Would be interesting to see a version of angel hare where gabby is a demon in disquise who was manipulating jonah
I know, right? I think I actually like Zag now.
>a kind of tolerance for each other
Zag seems to tolerate Jonah but Jonah (that two-faced homosexual) doesn't seem to tolerate Zag at all.
>Jonah (that two-faced homosexual) doesn't seem to tolerate Zag at all.
A part of me is starting to think that Jonah just hasn't had a positive interaction with any older ales in general sometimes. That or he is letting his first impressions of zag taint literally all future interactions.
I'm like 90% certain his dad was his only major male interaction. That alone would ruin him.
just watched the first episode
is not bad
It's a fun series.
why
I don't get
?
