I have been looking at the wrong depictions of Seraphim it seems, as this is the first I've ever seen them depicted with eyes like these, makes sense though given how monstrous most biblically accurate angels can be.

Ah its okay, it may look like it fits better but I'm concerned about the lack of robe. I tried fitting it onto the opposite end but that wasnt happening.
I have a little curiosity that the small frame in the middle might be backwards.it just kinda screams to me that it needs to be on the other side, but im not sure if that might conflict with my piece.
Could be something entirely different as a whole. We'll know when we've collected all the jigsaw pieces at the end of the series.

But.. how does that help him look for Gabby? Are his powers tied to how close he is to his true form?
I think it's likely that the style of the show limits him because there's only so much that a mostly underdeveloped world like the one of the show permits him to do. And a m9re advanced animation style might open him up to more abilities, yeah - I don't think there's much they'd be 'allowed' to get away with on a show meant for young children.

Anyone else notice the line "she's always got to be so darn traditional" from Zaggy, the way it's said denotes there's definitely a connection between the two of them, so I'd argue this futher cements him as an angel and disproves any theories that Zaggy is a Demon Hare. As he's showing albeit inadvertently, there is a past and relationship between Gabby and Zaggy. Most likely from working together.
That and the fact Jonah remarks "there are so many angels" and we get a sequence of various angel names similar to Zag's, including Zagzagel most notably - who Zaggy is speculated to be. So this pretty firmly leans towards Zag being an actual angel.

Regarding the population of the forest: My best guess there is that the show Angel Hare only has two characters, Gabby and Francis; there's no-one else, Francis was just in denial when he said that there were other animals in the forest, or maybe he was trying to stay in-character.

I actually would not be surprised if they run with the idea that angels being in other pieces of media causes the characters in them to spontaneously gain self-awareness. It would be another suitably weird element to add.
I think the implication is that he needs a new show to air or maybe a specific one so he can take on a freaky seraphim form and that he'll discover something Gabby was trying to communicate. I guessing it might have to do with all the eyes and those secret images that have been flashing on screen since Gabby disappeared.
Well, that might explain why Francis seems to sort of have gained meta-awareness (or stopped staying in-character?) in Season 2.
But I don't think it would be *suitably* weird; it doesn't feel like something that fits the rules, even though we don't know much about them.
Getting the thread back on track, Francis specifically mentions doodling visions he has received in his sleep “for giggles.” The question becomes, did he share these visions with Gabby, maybe that’s how she knew how best to help and guide him in each episode as she seems very sure of herself when delivering her message in Episode 2.

Thank you for writing this. After looking at the new image for the missing robe I realized it overlaps perfectly with the previous feather image, meaning it is actually the left wing drawn with four feathers instead of the usual three. This allows the corner to be placed on the right side without having to worry about the angle of the robe.
Also I've started to believe that rotating the images is unnecessary, and problems I was having with the angles on the head are solved by using Gabby's front-facing head model.
The only major discrepancies with this new interpretation that I can see are the hair tuft and robe length differences, but they are not consistent with any other model I've seen anyway.
It's real interesting that the drawing of the Easter day vision still has Gabby's ears and paws. Especially since Zaggy only brings up "eight fingers and a tail" rather than anything else about his Angel Hare gifted form.
Makes me wonder how much of that will carry over into whatever prime time television Jonah forces him into.

The name is apparently an actual angelic name, going off of Google - but like that guy said, there aren't really any sources from what piece of religious apocrypha it comes from.
Of course its esoteric references. Anytime there are angels and they arent Jesus and are doing things besides standing around glowing it's an esoteric reference.

A- angels seem unable to jump from one show to another if they are not being aired
B- im not sure about this, but if the show is not being aired, the device that is being used might work as a cage against the angel.
C- angels and maybe anyone can jump from one series to another, which explains why francis is the only one in the forest, everyone else already jumped ship.

Regarding the population of the forest: My best guess there is that the show Angel Hare only has two characters, Gabby and Francis; there's no-one else, Francis was just in denial when he said that there were other animals in the forest, or maybe he was trying to stay in-character.
If there was anyone else, don't you think Francis or Zaggy would have brought them into the investigation?
Wait. Hold on, I just realized something.
There are two possibilities here.
Either Peter (for example) becomes a person when Zaggy enters the show, or he doesn't, and remains nothing more than a set of drawings and voice lines.
If he becomes a person, that obviously has INSANE implications, which is why I don't think it's going to happen.
But if he *doesn't* become a person.. then what about Francis? Where did he come from?
When he said he was an actuary, could he have actually been telling the truth there?
He was an ordinary poker-playing human being working as an actuary, and one day he got desperate enough to call out for help, and Angel Gabby answered the call by.. dragging him into a TV show?.. Why would she do that?..
I actually would not be surprised if they run with the idea that angels being in other pieces of media causes the characters in them to spontaneously gain self-awareness. It would be another suitably weird element to add.
I think the implication is that he needs a new show to air or maybe a specific one so he can take on a freaky seraphim form and that he'll discover something Gabby was trying to communicate. I guessing it might have to do with all the eyes and those secret images that have been flashing on screen since Gabby disappeared.

Well, that might explain why Francis seems to sort of have gained meta-awareness (or stopped staying in-character?) in Season 2.
But I don't think it would be *suitably* weird; it doesn't feel like something that fits the rules, even though we don't know much about them.

Getting the thread back on track, Francis specifically mentions doodling visions he has received in his sleep “for giggles.” The question becomes, did he share these visions with Gabby, maybe that’s how she knew how best to help and guide him in each episode as she seems very sure of herself when delivering her message in Episode 2.

Really bad episode honestly.
I personally enjoyed it, but I do have to admit that they probably could have cut the whole first half of the episode without removing anything important.
Yeah, it didn't get me hyped as much as the last two did. But it at least set up something interesting to happen so hopefully the next episode won't be as bad

Thank you for writing this. After looking at the new image for the missing robe I realized it overlaps perfectly with the previous feather image, meaning it is actually the left wing drawn with four feathers instead of the usual three. This allows the corner to be placed on the right side without having to worry about the angle of the robe.
Also I've started to believe that rotating the images is unnecessary, and problems I was having with the angles on the head are solved by using Gabby's front-facing head model.
The only major discrepancies with this new interpretation that I can see are the hair tuft and robe length differences, but they are not consistent with any other model I've seen anyway.
I mean, yeah. So long as he doesn't flip out, it'd be kinda cute to tease him.
It's real interesting that the drawing of the Easter day vision still has Gabby's ears and paws. Especially since Zaggy only brings up "eight fingers and a tail" rather than anything else about his Angel Hare gifted form.
Makes me wonder how much of that will carry over into whatever prime time television Jonah forces him into.

I think regardless of what form they take, angels in this setting most likely retain some trait of their angel hare forms in some manner. Whether that be ears and paws or something else.

If we are in relative consensus that Gabby is actually one of Seraphim. What the hell was Francis doing to get one of their attention? He said that he "called out at his lowest low and Gabby came" and that she had to use one of her weapons when they first met. As we can also presumably believe Gabby telling him that even if you do something bad, you may still be forgiven referred to what he himself was doing when they first met. I'm guessing he was summoning demons.
Francis was either doing fricked up alchemical bullshit or did a summoning ritual and called up something he couldn't put down again. Seraphs, Cherubs, and Ophanim literally don't leave Heaven except under the most dire circumstances.
Gabriel was one of only three named angels in the Bible, the other two being the Cherubim Michael and Lucifer, the highest ranked angel in heaven and the former highest ranked angel in heaven. Gabriel was sent to inform Mary, the Shepherds, and Wise Men of Christ's conception and later his birth. Seraphim seems like a fitting rank for Gabriel.
If a better question is, what is THE Gabriel doing dealing with some kid and a cartoon badger? Jonah must be important for something to get Gabby as his guardian.
Zaggy wants more depth? Does that mean he wants to become 3D?
