how would you fix it, Cinemaphile?
imagine I grant you for free that it doesn't have mexicans or Black folk in it.
beyond that, if you were forced to produce this project, how would you go about it?
I wouldn't.
People need to stop taking these inherently silly and over-the-top stories and trying to turn them into live action, it literally never works.
Although honestly, at this point I think it's just malice, because they one time they had a largely serious source material to draw from they chose to make it an over-the-top moronic farce.
a common plague in tv/film now is the live action phenomenon, followed closely by an obsession with a "multiverse" concept. anime should never be adapted to live action. the whole point of the media is that it's a heavily stylized, deliberately visual spectacle. people watch anime because of its unique style. adapting it to live action is just a soulless capitalization on a familiar ip
Based on their content alone, i wonder how long ago netflix studios would have died if they had to produce movies and shows independent of their streaming service and shop them around. The quality of their originals is so poor that I doubt they would have made it far.
this is exactly my point tho. if even these nerd publications who don't have a critical thought in their heads think it's bad, maybe that's a telling sign.

give it to weebs to make instead of 26 year old women who've never heard of anime and/or israelites
I would simply make an animated series. These live action adaptations do not work.

really? the nearly 1100 chapter classic manga isn't done justice in an 8 episode American Netflix adaptation? i'm shocked.
I'm sure the person who wrote that article would agree that a live action anime adaptation shouldn't be made in the first place

I’m gonna start posting this stupid ass bait in Saw threads just for laughs
>it's for all ages so you can't criticize it
Ironically enough, it takes an extremely childish mind to keep parroting this nonsense
Anime gays deserve nothing but contempt

>anons so desperate to meme on the bad live anime adaptation that they need to use a polygon review
lmao
I mean, sources like Polygon and IGN pretty much rate any nerd adjacent IP a 8-10.
>IGN
It tries to be too faithful, 6/10
-IGN

The article sucks. He doesn't give any actual examples of what's bad. Still, rape and murder netflix shills
It's a 1000+ chapter manga with no ending yet.
It's literally impossible to adapt without decades of work. Even the anime sucks.
>the greatest manga ever
>greatest manga ever
Manchildren took over entertainment industry.
It is, cope some more and stutter about some le deep moe slice of life bullshit.
if you can't tell its shit from a just cursory glance then you deserve to have your time wasted and your expectations dashed
