this is a real show? it always felt like one of those memes that the internet unanimously invented and then agreed to pretend is for real

It's basically an excuse for breast fetishism. It's the only thing I remember from it.

Being attracted to a woman's body isn't a fetish, that's like saying you have a dick going into vegana until it ejaculates fetish

      >it always felt like one of those memes that the internet unanimously invented
Is that a thing you morons actually do? What you think some easily searchable tv show that ran for 4 seasons and 70 episodes is just some elaborate hoax in order to, as you say now, "TROLL" other morons on the internet? Like this is some kind of idiotic skinny guy gag? No, doofus. No this was not a real show. You could not, in the time it took me to insult you, found an episode or wikipedia article online and had information and the program in question delivered to on a plate as hot as those chicken tenders you seem to love so much. I swear all the information in the universe at your fingertips and what do you use it for? looking up highly specialized and fetishized and personalized pornography. Oh sure you'll spend a whole afternoon looking for and hunting for a single rude image of some obscure character from one episode of a cartoon, that I remind you again probably doesn't exist, but to find out if something was ever real in the first place? No you just waste all our times asking these inane questions. Well shame on you, sir. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go do some.... research on the internet. Cornfed! What was the name of that lady who looked like the rescue rangers mouse who showed up for one episode?

Because there is no fricking way a show like this was ever made available on a public channel. It's nothing but wall to wall offensive shit that it simply HAS to be some kind of /misc/ meme

That was the fun thing about the 90s. There was a big scramble in the wake of the success of The Simpsons for the next big adult animated hit, and it was okay to be a little edgy and angry. These days everything has to have the edges sanded off to even have a chance.

It aired on the same network that ran, currently runs, and will run until 2025 WWE Monday Night Raw. Seriously, dude, Duckman was on basic cable and nobody gave a frick. It wasn't even the fifth-edgiest show on TV at the time because everyone was trying to do the "look how much edge we've got" bullshit in the wake of the success of Jerry Springer, Beavis & Butt-head, and the entire culture basically going "WE NEED TO BE MORE OUTRAGEOUS, RIGHT STAT NOW". Seriously, basic cable networks literally ran GIRLS GONE WILD ADS in the late evening/early morning hours.

Not really but I feel like season 4 had too many episodes and there was some duds and fat that had to be trimmed, honestly it's probably for the best it never got season 5, people only want season 5 because it pulled a Panty and Stocking joke twist in the last minute of the show 13 years before PS did it

Maybe but it sort of gets a pass for being a trailblazer -- no family guy or family guy clones existed yet. This was the first of it's kind. That doesn't mean it's a masterpiece but it seemed less cliche in ~1997.

Funny stuff but nothing I want to watch more of after a couple episodes. When I come back to it it's still real good though.

I liked the first three seasons, but season four really lost what made it work partway through. Duckman started going from charming to grating. And don’t get me started on that fricking ending. Still, I think the previous seasons had really good mixes of commentary, heart, and comedy

LOL. Also, how do you guys think DuckMan would react to AI porn where you can type up literally anything and get it almost instantly? Would he ever leave the house?

I somehow completely missed this as a kid and just started watching it, I think it's great. The gratuitous display of breasts and ass appeals to the coomer in me and the nihilism and general ranting of Duckman appeal to the doomer.

Well, yeah, that's just the structure of the show. Each episode follows a similar pattern, the fun is in the way they do it. You watch Duckman for Duckman, not radical narrative experimentation.

duckman is a paramount/viacom thing and i just don't think they'd let something that's theirs be loaned out to another competing network on CN which was under Warner in the 00s, but that's all i really know
