Tetsuo: Iron Man for full Japanese schizo breakdown.

From France I suggest "Raw" (original title is "Grave"). From Argentine, "Wild Tales" ("Relatos salvajes"). Have fun watching!

also is Dogtooth worth it for Greece if I hated The Lobster and Sacred Deer?

Maybe not, but of all his stuff it’s by far his most Greek.

If you don’t like him, watch something by Angelopoulos instead. Landscape in the Mist maybe

Doubt. India has Satyajit Ray, Mani Kaul, Govindan Aravindan. I think a better comparison you could have made is comparing countries instead of directors. Britain would come out on top no question. The amount of Bollywood slop thats out there is pretty crazy. It's like they're street vendors; something one would never want to partake in.

Follow the instructions in the screencap. Brighter Summer Day is a sweeping four hour epic and easily the best out of Taiwan.

Those are my instructions man, and this movie breaks ‘em! No Yang!
Also I’ve already done Taiwan aye

This is honestly kinda interesting, the world map on letterboxd is a fun tool that I don't use that often. Like apparently there are only 22 films from Fiji, 62 from Moldova, 29 from Turkmenistan. Have fun with this project

The map isn't hugely accurate because for a film to count as being from a country, it has to have a studio attached to it that is registered in that country. So *Hot Fuzz* is a French movie because it was produced by StudioCanal.
