            1. Completely failed to prevent the disease and they've now given up. But I guess you expect the government to be pat on the back and be given a gold medal for trying? 2. The vaccines harmed just as many people as covid if not more, and they were forced onto those who didn't need it, including children without the parents' consent. 3. The vaccinated, with no more immunity than the unvaccinated, were the only ones allowed to leave their house or enter most stores.

To give one example of the utterly shameful consequences of the governments actions: a girl was not allowed to see her dying father in hospital because he was in another state. Sorry grandpa, gotta die alone for a useless lockdown!

Hahahahahaha the government could have gone on as long as they fricking liked, the only reason they opened up was because the economic damage was already as severe as it was. But then, what was the point of the vaccines if we couldn't even open up after years?

Only the sick and unhealthy died from covid. Meanwhile plenty of healthy people died from the vaccine. There's an enormous amount of evidence for misrepresented vaccine deaths and likewise exaggerated covid deaths, but just acknowledging the fact that covid could not kill you but the vaccine could proves that for 99% of people the vaccine was more deadly.

Lol, do you think the vaccine didn't cause myocarditis in many individuals? It was even more common for young people to get it from the vaccine than the elderly, meaning there was DOUBLY more reason not to get the vaccine as a healthy young person.

Your whole worldview is based on spurious claims. I could have asked at the first instance that someone defended getting vaccinated for a citation. I think your evidence is spurious, you think mine is. Though you can easily look at even 'official' reports and see the insignificance of the thread of covid against young and healthy people.

That's the thing, an argument could be made for only old people getting vaccinated, (though I disagree with it) yet that argument is never made. The most extreme pro-vaccine beliefs are never officially recanted, so the most ridiculous views are the first ones that are pointed out to show how truly insane the entire argument for vaccines is. All of the oppressive actions taken by the Australian government were based upon these most insane ideas, and were directed towards the young and healthy as well as all the rest. So it's not like they're unrelated to the key disagreement at hand.

The moronation of the common person doesn't make being an academic midwit something to be proud of. Fulfilling academic criteria is a monkey's job and any intelligent person will feel superior to the types of characters that make up most of a university. Their having learnt the monkey's job that a common laborer is incapable of doing will never change this. And especially in today's world, going to university is no measurement of intelligence, unless you count slightly above average as true intelligence.

          >>I have bought into rightwing memes convincing me to be scared of everything and can only feel my anxiety reassured by having a gun with me at all times
Complete strawman. Am I not free to see an act of the government as immoral? If I have an opinion on the facts which diverges from the mainstream opinion must I only be buying into internet propaganda? Must I secretly be motivated by lunatical fear and sycophantic worship of guns? My opinion on guns only being a logical step down from what is undeniable, that it would be less likely for the government to restrict the rights of its citizens, or at least less likely for it to try and do so. If I have the so and so values which you know, it is only logical for me to desire the right to bear arms.

What people like yourself do not understand is that there can be a disagreement of VALUES, and not of intellectual capability. I think your values are despicable, but you mustn't be particularly intelligent either if you're incapable of seeing that the point of contention is values and not facts.

If people found that disagreeable then they could freely protest against it, and defend themselves against it. I'm not saying necessarily with guns, guns are only a form of of defending one's rights for certain contexts. You seem to be incapable of understanding the very simple fact that guns provide you an opportunity to defend your rights. No one is saying that they fix everything or that a country which does have guns has successfully or willingly defended all of their rights.

Don't you see how insanely immoral you are? You're boasting how you're able to work and the unvaxxed aren't (though that's not even true), at a point where covid is long gone as an issue of public focus and vaccines have not worked against at all. Even if the vaccines did stop covid, which everyone knows they don't, I would not support people being unable to work just because they refused a private medical treatment. It's utterly immoral.

                >you can use whatever arguments you’d like as long as they’re supported with evidence
HAHA, and what counts as evidence? I'm sure I could just write a paper declaring that Fascism is great and the professor 100% wouldn't accuse me of 'misinformation' in some form. 'Evidence' amounts to 'agrees with me' or 'does not depart too far from me'. Perhaps there are some bleeding heart libertarians that truly allow freedom of thought but I seriously doubt it. And it's not as if Fascism, or any fringe ideas, are necessarily lacking in supportive evidence, because there are far more 'acceptable' worldviews such as Anarcho-Capitalism, at least I think a professor would be okay with a student supporting it, yet they patently ridiculous or at least just ridiculous as far more fringe theories.

                >your whole post is just conjecture and your own assumptions
Which you could claim every post ITT is. Do you see the 'studies' being posted for every claim? Are you really so incompetent that you think adding a pronoun radically changes the justifications for an argument? It's such a basic, immature criticism that, once again, only amounts to a sophism. Superficially distracted by a few words, because they easily lend themselves to being rephrased with a different context, as, in this case, a claim of subjectivity. You are a midwit overestimating the value of your own education. It shows how little that education got you, to not even be able to recognize in this criticism the hypocrisy and unsoundness. If you think what I say is conjecture, then RESPOND to it. I've claimed that I tried to have an intellectual discussion with you. I'm trying again now, yet you only respond that it's 'conjecture'; an insult instead of an argument.

                >you could absolutely argue for fascism depending on the context and relevance
What you seem to misunderstand here is that I said a professor would undoubtedly have a personal, rather than objective, limit for what he considers 'evidence'. I was not saying there is no need for citations, which somehow you got from what I said. And lol at you calling me an anti-intellectual. Such a flaunting of university wit!

And if the lecturer marking your work lets their personal rather than objective views influence them there’s an academic council you can appeal to. You really don’t know anything about your higher education boogeyman do you?

He already provided evidence for the ridiculous bias of universities. Do you really need to ask if you would be able to support even more radical theories publicly? You refuse to accept the obvious because you enjoy the comfort of a worldview. You have not allowed one single breech in your university created worldview. Your views fit every mainstream view and you're happy with it.

What a non-response haha it’s a wild claim to say you’ll be terminated for not publicly proclaiming your pronouns or supporting ‘that lgbt crap’ and way different to providing your own evidence supported arguments for assessment, which is what we were originally discussing. But I understand that the idea of diverse viewpoints, ideas, and cultures being cultivated for the purpose of higher learning would violate your carefully curated ‘anti-university’ worldview.

This becomes almost sardonic when the large scale ideological infiltration of academic organizations is taken into account. It's probably fair to say academia always represents some reigning political view, but with the decline of academicism as a conservative goal in itself, and its rise as a revolutionary tool of ideology, it becomes a thousand times more restrictive. Like under any authoritarian regime.

Because of RACE. Which was the chief cause of the hypothetical crime we are discussing. Furthermore there are plenty of situations in which muggers are not armed with guns and a victim bearing a gun would be as good as to stop the assault before it even begins, or in the second case to stop any serious physical injury.

Yep. This the rental map for realestate.com with those filters set up. The like 10 dots near the city will each have about 40-50 people going through them at each inspection as well. Everything else is in Logan or half way to fricking Ipswich. Shit's fricked. There are so many Indians suddenly in this city it is insane.

Holy shit that's barely anything. Why is the Australian housing market so fricked?

Because the people up top use housing as an investment and commodity, not a neccesity, that's it
Anyone telling you to blame your fellow man is someone trying to frick you over

I hole-hardedly agree, but allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite.

So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go.

Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake.
