They changed the one part. In the old one once they saw the plane, were they thought they saw them, some of them started eating the rest of the chocolate at once. In the new one the never found any chocolate and also never been that sure about the plane seeing them so they didn't start eating in celebration.

When your body goes into a condition of starvation, your brain rewards you for eating shit you wouldn't think to have eaten before, and would have been repulsed by if you weren't in a condition of starvation. So when the time came to eat the dead, they were apprehensive at first, but when they tried some, they were flooded with dopamine as a survival mechanism to encourage them to keep eating the dead to survive.

Not everyone has to be starving to eat that. A few years ago some guy damaged his leg in an accident and the doctors warned him they would have to amputate, so he saved the leg and made tacos out of it to eat with his friends. Pics below:

It came out 30 years ago. Its a forgotten film. It appeared on the "movie greats" channel. Uno when they randomly select some random film from their archive and put it on to fill a spot. Most people dont know this movie, especially not the demogrpahics that typcially visit this site now days. This isnt the first time this has happened. Ill watch a movie I havent seen in years, some obscure movie only I like and then neck minute its everywhere. Its not just movies. Its same with like documentary topics. One guy on YT will make a video about a topic and then nek minute every other similar creator brings out a video about the same topic. Whether its horror, history, true crime or whatever. Think Infographics, Mark Felton or Mr Ballen.
