It's not even a contrarian sentiment, shitting on this movie has been mainstream since it was released, and even the star wars community the general consensus is that you can skip this
Phantom Menace is the only Star Wars movie I’d have any interest in watching again. Haven’t even seen Rise of Skywalker even though I have Disney+. In fact I’m going to start a home watch of Phantom right now.
Why so many re-releases lately? Is Hollyweird really testing the grounds to see if they should go back to movies targeted to chuds instead of all the woke flopping garbage we've been getting lately?
>I hate disney for destroying star wars I'm never giving them money again >Oh my heckin' science is that a prequel re-release? >I MUST CONSOOOOOOM!!!!
Star wars fans are like an abused spouse.
The prequels were good movies.
Lets count the "sins" >A shit line about sand >A misscast wooden actor >Some naff CGI in an age of every CGI looking like shit
Compare that to the sins of the sequels. >THE FORCE IS FEMALE BIGOT >ALL YOUR HEROS ARE CiS HET WHITE MEN AND MUST BE REPLACED WITH EMBARRASSING DEATHS >ALL MARY SUES
>implaying the ones b***hing about cancer did not open the door for the AIDS infestation.
It was RLM and the nitpicking gays online that allowed Disney to turn SW in to a left wing activism series.
That is the thing they have to live with.
All because you could not take a simple explanation about how the force works.
>When RLM haver a bad take >WE ALL COMIDY VIDEOS MAN ITS A JOKE A JOKE I TELL U >When RLM have a good take >We are serious hard hitting film journalism that Rodge Ebert himself shines upon.
RLM are really Schrodinger's critic all the time it seems.
I hate star wars and even i think that movie is the best one, its just entertaining and I like jar jar binks.
Because I am not a star wars gay I can actually apreciate the character.
Rogue one was pretty damn good as a movie too.
All other star wars shit I have watched has been shit. I guess in the 70s it would have been cool so I get why people liked it but I was born in the 80s, so when I saw them, all I saw was a shitty story with terrible editing.
>disney is the one making money from this you moron
80% goes directly to Lucasfilm, and Kathleen ain't receiving anything from it, George gets half of this, everything else is divided between the actors and crew (at least those of them who are still alive)
That's not how it works, most actors and crew members are paid at a flat rate unless they specify it in their contracts. The money is either used to pay their operating costs and other employees, or it goes to their shareholders as profit. >80% goes to Lucasfilm
...which is a subsidiary of Disney. George is also a major shareholder of Disney.
its competition is Ghostbusters, Kung Fu Panda 4, civil war and a bunch of frick you it's January tier shit horror movies the studios are dumping before summer so i'm not surprised
Hearing the prequel soundtrack on a 2024 sound system and seeing young Herschlag on the big screen is worth more than most new films. I'm definitely going.
I'll probably ask a weird tinder girl to go and see if she'll blow me.
I won't. It's a shitty movie and nothing will change that. Normies are borderline moronic apes, so this means absolutely nothing.
>It's a shitty movie
Being a contrarian for the sake of it doesn't make you a smart person, anon.
Anyway, may the Force be with you.

That's fricking pathetic lamo
that's literally nothing
embarrassing
Makes sense considering all of Shitsney Girl Wars is absolute dogshit. People at least want to see Mid Wars in the theatre.

25th anniversary
The strike fricked things up so there aren't many new movies coming out
Easy money, sure thing, no heavy lifting.
>the shittiest Star Wars film next to 2 and 9
apologize for what exactly, you moronic iphoneposter?
More of a statement about 2024 films than it is about the quality of TPM.
>I hate disney for destroying star wars I'm never giving them money again

RLM btfo
Not so nitpicking smug now are you?
Seems like nobody cared about you b***hing about bullshit and your Lucas ruined my childhood t shirts.
So that's what this is about?
Trying to get back at some e-celeb who shat on your favorite children's movie?
by an ad homosexual
why are they re-releasing it now? Is there some upcoming Star Wars stuff or something?

whoa, turns out cancer is better than aids.

RLM made yt videos. that's it. They didn't have the power and control over Disney products that you invest in them.
>RLM made yt videos.
That Disney took notes off. They are to blame for woke wars. It is about time they paid the price and faced justice for it.
>When RLM haver a bad take

I thought you people promised not to support Disney anymore? What happened?
americans are so moronic lol

How awesome would it be to take a movie that someone else made and make a couple million bucks just letting people pay to watch it again
its competition is Ghostbusters, Kung Fu Panda 4, civil war and a bunch of frick you it's January tier shit horror movies the studios are dumping before summer so i'm not surprised
I would love to see the ages of people going to see this
Just saw The Mummy (1999) 25th Anniversary on Thursday and the theater was packed as frick just like how it was when I saw it at 8 years old in 1999.
This trend will continue.
New garbage trust fund studio forced bullshit is on borrowed time.
Millenials only care about nostalgia.

Meh, wake me up when they rerelease Leon in theaters.
