What you're complaining about is simply the core Star Wars audience. They like movies and want more of that. Andor is almost anathema to that audience and comes across as BORING.

There's literally two (2) things wrong with the show. One is the obvious AK rifle, the other is a shot of a Star Destroyer flying about some hills that looks like it was added last minute. It stands out because of the rest of the effects were top tier but that one shot was just bad for some reason. That's it.
Every episode was boring as frick but ends with a tease that tricks you into thinking "ok the next episode is when it gets good" but it never does.
Stopped watching at the episode with the rainbow meteor shower.
For what? It was a massive slog, every character spoke the exact same way and behaved more like a whiny white girl on Twitter than anyone actually living in an oppressive political system. It made the show agonizing to get through (except for Andy Serkis pbuh)

it takes itself seriously, has (for the most part) a maturely written cast of characters who are actually likeable (stellan skarsgard kills it), and it manages to make the empire actually seem threatening and competent which no other piece of star wars media has ever done, not even empire strikes back
