For some people Pizzas writing grates some people like crazy. But I don't mind it , it just apes Raymond Chandler in a contemporary setting, its way better than most shit you see on tv.
I was surprised when the TV media ragged on s2 as hard as they did. Is it a big, sprawling mess of a conspiracy? Yep. So is most of noir fiction. S2 was a love letter to chandler, Hammett, and every other pulp noir writer of the 20s and 30s and I thought it was very good.
You can say that S2 was trying too hard, you can say that S3 was slow and boring, but at least they still looked gorgeous. What the frick is S4 so far, why does it look so fricking cheap? Why the hyperactive ADHD zoomer cuts? Why the CGI fricking animals?
Contrarian memesters will say S2 but S3 is genuinely quite good. The mystery is reasonably engaging and Dorff and Ali have good chemistry and they're fun to watch together
