I saw that. Decent animation for an indie thing, but luckily for him it wasn't of such poor quality that it lowered the feeling of the book itself.

Looking forward to a storytime in the future, here's hoping it improves from the mid to bad first issue.

How come these take so long to make? Sure drawing and coloring takes time, but we live in a world of AI art, serious time saving measures are avialable now.

Are you moronic? You cannot currently make comics with AI. The best it can do is maybe provide backgrounds and some invididual character poses for you.

        Anonymous

yeah but the creator is a "le based redpill black man" so Cinemaphile assumes villanous behavior even when it wouldn't make any sense

        Anonymous

No but AI can make passable backgrounds and help with coloring. It was supposed to replace artists, but as it is it can help artists save time. Manga already uses photos for backgrounds, so what’s the harm?

          Anonymous

You cannot copyright anything made with IA, at least not now. A chick tried to do that with a graphic novel and the resolution was that she could register the script, but not the visual contents since they weren't made by humans and thus not protected by law.

            Anonymous

How would they tell? I proposed only use AI for coloring and backgrounds.

          Anonymous

If you're gonna insert AI in-between actual drawings, you have to meticulously train it to copy the artist's style. I'd say I'm very interested who will be the first artist cucked enough to agree to that, but I know that in reality, whenever that happens, it will be without the artist's knowledge or consent, and they'll be forced to keep working under the contract.

That's it. That's the only defense anyone has when any part of it is criticized. Allegedly literally every single piece of media except Rippaverse is ~~*woke*~~ so the fact that this is objectively really shit is irrelevant, because "it isn't woke" and therefore worth money.

Can I make money on American market by drawing nonwoke comics? I don’t need to make 3 millions, 30k would be perfectly fine.

So if I want to make money on American comics market all I need to do is write a story with these fundamental assumptions:

            >we are at the end of history as Fukuyama said
            >present American society is fundamentally just and righteous
            >people who want change are either evil, delusional or are oversocialized leftists with with inferiority complex

Let's talk about some other Comicsgate grifters.

Anyone here know Literature Devil? I used to follow his Youtube channel and think he gave some good writing advice but over time he seemed to have slipped more and more into the culture war mindset where his main criticism of something is always that it's SJW. As an example, he released a 30-minute video praising Injustice because Catwoman there is supportive of Batman instead of lecturing him for being a man, what a fricking achievement.

More relevant to the point of the thread, I think he's also made a crowd funded comic. I remember seeing some preview pages. It was called "Dr. Aplha, The World's Most Toxic Hero" or something like this that immediately made me cringe for blatantly reactionary it seemed. The pages looked like they were trying to imitate the 90s Image style. for some reason all these guys seem to take big inspiration from Liefeld and co.

      Anonymous

yes but almost all companies are participating in the culture war, so that assessment isn't far from the truth

Why is all Casualgate content so derivative of other content? Aren't all these homosexuals "life long comic fans"? Why can't any of them come up with anything more creative than "Old thing, but I made fun of WOKIES in it!"?

        Anonymous

Absolutely. They lack a good hook. I think back to other works that broke the mold, such as Fantastic 4, and how that specifically aimed to subvert all the usual trappings of capebooks, becoming the blue print for the house style of Marvel.

These comicsgate stuff, at best, are a recreation of the milder work from whatever era they're trying to harken back to.

It was only crowdfunded through his personal website so only backers have received it, and either they're really respectful of him to not want to upload what they have or embarrassed at having funded it, but there isn't a really good rip of it.

I think most are disappointed it wasn't worse. Like, it's very amateurish, a guy's first comic, but it isn't so unhinged like Gabby Rivera America or something like that. Even Jawbreakers had more meme potential "With the power of 1000 slaves!"

            Anonymous

It's safely mediocre, yet the way its backers praised it, you'd think issue #1 was better than Lord of the Rings.

              Anonymous

it's technically better than LotR:The Rings of Power

              Anonymous

Exactly. Like, even ignoring craftsmanship, it doesn't have a real hook to make up for it.

Think of like early Attack on Titan, where the art was really rough. Had it been just a normal battle manga it wouldn't have gotten traction, but the concept hooked people and had an easy way of spreading through word of mouth based on the merit of the manga.

Isom just doesn't have that. Besides the specifics of world building, this could easily be in a Marvel DC comic if you out in some of their regulars.

                Anonymous

Nah Marvel and DC at least have the benefit of brand recognition. Isom expects you to give a shit about a nobody that does nothing.

Precisely. He doesn't have that moment of "oooh, that's pretty cool!" that is necessary for a first issue. There's genuinely nothing interesting about this at the point of being able to discuss it.

In 2017, I fricked Eric July on the train tracks behind the CSCD in Denton. Man, his ass could grip. Real tight, super bushy (have you seen his shoulders??), and a sphincter you could only dream of. I had fun at first. But he was so weirdly macho about it. He kept saying things like "thats right b***h, am I gonna make you nut?" and "fricking gay I bet you can't wait to bust in my fat hairy man ass hahaha homosexual". I just ignored him and kept railing. He continued unironically calling me his b***h and a gay as he had several hands free prostate orgasms spilling seminal fluids onto the train tracks, getting more angry and dominant after each one. "Yea i bet you like dudes. You look like a pussy" he'd say "I cant even feel your limpdick b***h." I just kept clapping, wondering wtf is up with him. After about 20 minutes of railing Eric's boypussy, drenched in sweat and his cream, I finally got a nut off despite his constant berating and degrading comments. He immediately hopped off, laid flat on his back and bent his legs over his head so the cum dripped out of his butthole directly into his mouth. "The frick you looking at? You like this gay boy?" He kept saying. After he got every last drop. He cackled like a rooster and punched me in the face as hard as he could. He nearly broke his hand, but I was fine. "Fricking gay" he said as he limped off into the sunset, shaking his wrist. That was the first and last time I fricked Eric July on the train tracks behind the CSCD in Denton.

Excuse my autism for a second. Although I dislike tweened animation and prefer traditional frame by frame animation, this here is an exception. Tweening seems to work if the character designs are drawn well (in this case, the character designs are damn good in my honest opinion), but if the character designs are geometric Canadian (Toronto-shit) or American beanmouth garbage, it just looks bad to me.

Good on Young Rippa, hope his project does well.
