Godzilla Minus One is garbage : sloppy CGI, bland characters, mediocre directing and poor script. It's a really overrated movie which will be forgotten in 3 years. Deal with it.
No, 3.0+1.0 was garbage except for that village part and even that suffered from weird and repetitive camera angles. He should go back to being depressed because at least then he made good art and seemingly gave a shit.

Haven't seen Minus One but I thought Shin Godzilla had a weak second half that lessened my enjoyment of the movie. Only seen it once though so maybe it would be better on rewatch.
I enjoyed Shin Ultraman but that wasn't directed by Anno.

Btw Rodan 56 is a forgotten gem. Excellent script, glorious music and truly kino special effects.

Yeah I enjoyed it and the solo Mothra movie a lot. They're kinda overlooked, but I see them as part of the Godzilla series even though Goji himself doesn't appear.
The ending to Rodan is sad.
Halfway through EVA 2.0 with Mari and all that beastmode bullshit I knew Anno was done I knew it was all going to shit and the Kino of the 90s was over. Anyone who says otherwise is on maximum strength copioids and they're the same type of homos who like capeshit and Disney sòÿ wars
