How can you meet someone who saw it if you never leave your house?

I learned in the 2010s thanks to Steve Colbert and those other talk show gays, that if there's just a faceless mass of people somewhere praising something, it's just a psyop and you should avoid it at all costs

In my experience its old people, like 60+ old that don't know how to find shows and just watch whatever new thing is being pushed right now.

      Who is watching this garbage?
And why does this happen everytime something is released

everyone at my wagie job is watching it for one of three reasons
      >they're a 20-30 something guy who played the games
      >it's the big new show and there's "nothing else to watch"
      >everyone else is watching it and they want to be included
so a combination of branding, marketing, and then just hype

Primes core audience is well functioning adults from Western counties, which probably accounts for 1% of Cinemaphile posters

if they are 'well functioning' why are they watching prime?

Im sorry friend, but normal people with lives use streaming services because it's cheap and convenient, they don't worry about how cringe or based they look to morons on the internet for not torrenting everything.

It’s “alright”, which puts it in the top 10% of content coming out atm. How do you cope in life constantly seething at people liking things you’ve decided to be contrarian about?

There are enough people in the world that any audience size sounds big.
You also have to consider... are there other shows out right now worth watching?

      >which probably accounts for 1% of Cinemaphile posters
For some reason it accounts for redditors who praise the show as "woke and that's a good thing."
And then I just read a redditor saying Fallout is just like when Kirk kissed Uhura when that was actually a bad thing in the episode neither character wanted to do and were forced to do. God I hate reddit. "Media literacy" my ass.

This might be a (you) problem. A lot of people I know have watched it already. The difference in apparent viewership between this and Rangz of Powah is night and day, even with people who (claim to) love LotR, or like with the One Piece western live action series, which you can't even find XDCC downloads for. Personally, I've only played Fallout 1 and 2, and while I dislike the revisionism and found a lot of really stupid things with this series, I liked it enough that after watching the XDCC-downloaded episodes, I logged into my Amazon account (where I already have Prime because it pays for itself), and "watched" the series again on the platform.

It's a decent show all things considered, and it stands out among the sea of mediocre, low-effort, no-passion garbage that has been churned the last few years.

Fallout is a brand. You can slap Air Jordan on a pair of Vans, and it will sell.

it's amazing how many autists on the internet can't understand this, and start inventing moronic cope narratives about how nobody actually watched popular thing and it's all a conspiracy, the numbers are fake, the studio bought all the tickets themselves etc.. when nine times out of ten brand recognition sells, that's the whole reason companies buy up established IPs when they can, instead of trying to start something from scratch.

i binged it in a day, on Easter day and i enjoyed it quite a bit. I thought it had pretty high production value, i enjoyed the soundtrack and the lead actress was great, Walton Goggins too. I only played Fallout 4 but now i wanna try New Vegas

This honestly to god must've been marketers and I don't generally believe that. Extremely overhyped mediocrity. People here kept hyping it up as the best show we've gotten in years while the only good parts were goggins scenes and even they were pretty stupid at times.
