How does it compare to the first movie? That one was surprisingly entertaining. Though maybe it was just in contrast to how fricking miserable all the Snyder movies were.
I'd say it's about the same. We get to see more of Atlantis which is pretty cool. Black Manta finally gets some more Atlantean tech. My favorite part was the banter between Arthur and Orm and him discovering more about the surface world.
>That one was surprisingly entertaining.
I would agree with

But Manta getting the Atlantean tech made him way more OP than necessary for this movie, which made it a bit overly complicated.
And the entire pollution stuff (even though I agree with it politically) got excessively wordy with the council speech. Arthur should just be an absolute ruler and all that council nonsense was just wasted movie time.
>Arthur should just be an absolute ruler
He never has been, even in the silver age when he first became king he was elected by a council. He didn't even have a hereditary claim till an 80's retcon. The real world reason Aquaman became king of Atlantis was so he could marry Mera who started out as a queen of a whole planet in another dimension. DC Atlantis keeps getting bigger so it makes sense that he's not like Namor bossing around his post disaster survivors.
It was fine. Some of the cgi action sequences are a headache to watch though. too much stuff going on.
Gunn should just keep Jason as Aquaman and let them to a part 3. >but he's Lobo now
The two characters look different enough so its hardly confusing.
Nah, but she's out of commission for the rest of the film save two small scenes.

There was the widowhood in the comics which had a similar obstructionist role vs king Arthur.
I didn't see it solely because the baby didn't die
only because they wouldn't put flash in it
no it wasn't
But it did almost get sacrificed by Black Manga to release an eldritch pollution monster from its ancient prison.

It's more insane. He fights Bowser in a cage match, Martin Short plays Jabba the Hut, and Orm is held captive by mutant blood cultists.
Cinemaphile is mostly didney shills and the npcs that worship them. Never trust Cinemaphile‘s opinion on anything that competes with the mouse.
DDS?

>the DCEU ends with a dude eating a wienerroach burger
And you’re upset by a callback joke in an after credits scene because…?
Fitting ending for DeeCeecucks
Love Mera. It's sad how IRL bullshit cut her role in this, if live action DC ever gets to Aquaman again I hope they keep the suit as sleek.
did she die?

>I'm a pretentious twat that sucks wiener
Yes, Yes.
But does OP swallow?
moron.
It was pretty funny too
