I see this way too much irl of guys always showing their fricking ass cracks cause their pants are sagging
Do you guys really not feel your bare ass showing?
Fat + ill-fitting clothing + decades of kids deliberately sagging because "only old men wear their trousers up high" = every single male having a plumber's crack at all times
Are you being purposely dumb? Obviously this is a show that makes fun of foreigners coming to their country and when they see a fat greasy weeb like chibi it's like finding a pot of gold and obviously it paid off because this is comedy gold even if you don't know who chibi is
I hung out with this guy in Shibuya when he was on his autist tourist trip last year. He was dressed as the guy from Persona 5 and smelled like shit. Not at all shocked he actually moved there because that's all he would talk about afterward.
I work remotely and my girlfriend's family lives in Japan. I was hanging out in Tokyo for a few months visiting and my white friend who lives there fulltime got in touch with him and we thought it would be funny to hang.
are you the asian guy he met at Asakusa or the guy from the asian couple he met at Nakano and who is featured in his FB profile pic?

Nope, just two white guys who went to karaoke with him. We wanted to make him go clubbing with us but I am a cuck and needed to go back home before the trains stopped.
Huh, do English teachers get paid a lot there in Japan?
I know they’re pushing for more immigration but I have no idea what I’d even do there.
No, they get paid like shit. There's a huge private English instruction industry in Japan that is just completely fricked, and because there is such a demand for "authentic" teachers, businesses will hire any foreigner with an undergrad degree. It's often the route people take when they have pretty much nothing else going on in their lives.

assuming you knew about his past shenanigans beforehand, did you at any point reveal your power-level to him? or did you avoid it all together to not hurt his already damaged fragile ego and instead just watch him do his thing at karaoke with <insert anime/vidya theme>?

The latter, yeah. We pretended to be fans and kind of just observed. His singing was annoyingly good compared to the stuff I'd seen that he posted online. Lots of Sonic/Persona stuff. My friend is much more clued in to his antics than I am, though. I wish we got a funnier story out of it but it was just kind of low-level sperging the entire time.

Is the pay good to teach English in Japan? Always wondered this since Japan looks like it could be pricey to live in.

Japan is cheap but teacher pay is dogshit and more importantly being an English teacher is viewed as the lowest of the low professions.

Yeah this. You'll make nothing, get some easy low-class pussy for sure if you're decently attractive, but you'll never break out of your low social status if you take this path without a plan. Seen way too many dudes who have worked as English teachers in shit schools for 20 years and never even learned Japanese.
It's crazy how much tourism revenue that country gets just off the strength of Otaku shit overseas. It's almost like a promotional vehicle for Japanese tourism, similar to those Turkish TV shows being a hit gloabaly, which led to a rise in tourism.
Yep, Japan's soft power is extremely essential to its economy and drives a lot of its tourism. It seems like recently though, especially after Covid when there were no tourists allowed at all, locals are getting kind of annoyed by foreigners clogging up Tokyo and Kyoto.
I want to visit Japan some day but have no desire to visit Tokyo except maybe to see the imperial palace and the shuto expressway. I'd rather spend most of my time there in Kansai and Tohoku.
>almost exactly one decade from when he originally became a meme in America >now he’s become a meme in Japan as well
Pretty impressive feat, what work does he even do there?
Probably English teacher. He has zero qualifications so that's the easiest way to get into Japan. Plus he was talking about going that route for a while.
yeah but his race is completely irrelevant in this case, it would make no difference if he was white or a asiatic, I think you're brown
>Huh, do English teachers get paid a lot there in Japan?
kek. also theyre only pushing immigration from india, nigeria, haiti, jamaica, somalia, and some middle eastern states
No. Japanese TV is stuff made for people stuck in nursing homes and children. I'd argue that outside of America there's maybe only a handful of countries that actually have anything you can call quality TV. The UK has pretty solid TV for example. Very varied with nursing home TV, decent kids shows, lots of good documentaries, crime shows, romance shows, sitcoms, soap operas, reality TV, etc.
>The UK has pretty solid TV
No it doesn't. Stopped watching that shit a decade ago, never looked back. The last show worth watching was Top Gear, and they cancelled that.
Japanese TV is like watching shit from the 90s again.
I went to the UK a few years back and about 60% of what was airing at any one time was American imports. They have like three telecoms companies, one of them State-owned, and all the channels are owned by them. ITV, Sky, and BBC. Most of their TV is reruns from the US and the Beeb. It's pathetic, the end result of the British government outlawing all privately-owned radio and television stations from the 1930s until the 1980s
Holy shit, I spent some time with this guy at a GDQ once. Only later I found out he was moronic. This was before the "I would really prefer if you be quiet thing"
I was there recently, tried watching the shows.
Felt like they were all over the place, lots of boring panel shit. Not enough random funny gameshows. Very few movies or tv series.
Mostly things where the tv hosts went around areas of Japan and covered some interview, profession or activity there.
Cant really judge when i dont understand the language. Probably a lot more interesting that way. Like the news was covering local crimes and murders which would have been really interesting for me if i could follow.
This was 9.5 years ago and since then he has done so much shit that he has his own 600+ pages thread on Kiwifarms and two fricking archival channels on youtube filled with videos/stream clips of his past shenanigans.
>manages to humiliate himself on national television the moment he lands in Japan
How does he keep doing it?
I would really prefer if you'd be quiet.
%3D
Lmfao @white people
HAHAHAHA
I see this way too much irl of guys always showing their fricking ass cracks cause their pants are sagging
Do you guys really not feel your bare ass showing?
Fat + ill-fitting clothing + decades of kids deliberately sagging because "only old men wear their trousers up high" = every single male having a plumber's crack at all times
I don't get japan tv
why do they just randomly interview people over there like this? What did they ask him?
Are you being purposely dumb? Obviously this is a show that makes fun of foreigners coming to their country and when they see a fat greasy weeb like chibi it's like finding a pot of gold and obviously it paid off because this is comedy gold even if you don't know who chibi is
post it then
They're just asking him which country he's from. It's from a popular show in Japan where they interview foreigners who just arrived in Japan.
No matter who you are, white or black, Japan has schizos stalking and recording you praying that you make a single wrong move.
I hung out with this guy in Shibuya when he was on his autist tourist trip last year. He was dressed as the guy from Persona 5 and smelled like shit. Not at all shocked he actually moved there because that's all he would talk about afterward.
How did you come to hang out with him? Are you a white weeb king living in Japan?
I work remotely and my girlfriend's family lives in Japan. I was hanging out in Tokyo for a few months visiting and my white friend who lives there fulltime got in touch with him and we thought it would be funny to hang.
>my white friend
why did you feel the need to specify this, are you brown?
No, just that most people in Tokyo aren't white.
yeah but his race is completely irrelevant in this case, it would make no difference if he was white or a asiatic, I think you're brown
considering his entire life is social media, you might have been featured on his FB/twitter and indirectly kiwifarms and Cinemaphile
bretty risky, unless you don't care about that shit
Oh I have been. We're in pictures with him. I don't really care because I don't have a huge social media footprint.
are you the asian guy he met at Asakusa or the guy from the asian couple he met at Nakano and who is featured in his FB profile pic?

Rise of tourism in Turkey.

japan is so pozzed now
>Noooo! You can't just show gay people in shows! T-Thats unrealistic and wrong! T-They don't exist in real life
I'll take your word for it
>now
Jap TV had gays and troonys on TV for decades. What's the name of the fat crossdresser comedian?
But I don't think they showed them kissing. It was just that funny gay community/for comic relief.
If you told me that this was a man kissing a woman I would have believed it, lmao
The absolute state of asian "men"
You mean since at least the 80s.
>almost exactly one decade from when he originally became a meme in America

I get travelling for 12/14 hours means you can't get a proper wash on the way but I get the feeling he left with his hair that greasy.
> Lands in Japan
> Japan immediately gets hits by earthquakes and Tsunamis
What does it mean?
Yes.
Holy shit he's dead
>Earthquake, Tsunami, and now this, and it's only like two days into 2024
Great fricking start Japan
Seems like it wasn't a big deal, everyone got off before it caught fire.
I was there recently, tried watching the shows.

>Korean
Should've suplexed em. That'll teach a bratty beanpole to not underestimate manlets
How can you tell the difference
Not him, but there's text on screen. Korean characters have a lot of circles.
ok so there's nuance to the squiggles
Is this the guy that got offended on the couch?
Where it started:
This was 9.5 years ago and since then he has done so much shit that he has his own 600+ pages thread on Kiwifarms and two fricking archival channels on youtube filled with videos/stream clips of his past shenanigans.
Am I supposed to know who this gay is?
Always have been
